The servant hesitated for a moment: "The young master hasn't come back yet."
"It's okay, I can wait." Su Yao walked into the living room, "Pour me a cup of tea."
The servant nodded and retreated.
Su Yao sat on the sofa and looked around. She was too familiar with everything here. She grew up here and played and studied with Jiang Tingchen.
"Tingchen, why did you choose her?" Su Yao murmured to herself, "I am the most suitable person for you."
Just then, footsteps were heard outside the door.
"Tingchen is back?" Su Yao stood up and walked quickly to the door.
However, the person who came in was Mr. Jiang.
"Su Yao?" Mr. Jiang was a little surprised to see Su Yao, "Why are you here?"
"Grandpa Jiang." Su Yao smiled slightly, "I heard that Tingchen is bringing his girlfriend home today, I want to meet her."
Mr. Jiang nodded: "Tingchen hasn't come back yet."
"I know." Su Yao said, "I can wait."
Mr. Jiang glanced at Su Yao and said, "Su Yao, Tingchen has grown up. He has his own choices."
"I know." Su Yao lowered her head. "I just want to meet his girlfriend."
Mr. Jiang sighed: "Su Yao, you are a good child, but there are some things that you can't change."
"Grandpa Jiang, you don't understand." Su Yao raised her head, tears flashing in her eyes. "Tingchen has been taken care of by me since he was a child. He doesn't know what a real choice is."
"Su Yao..."
"Grandpa Jiang, please let me see her." Su Yao pleaded, "I want to know what kind of person can make Tingchen give up Huayun."
Mr. Jiang was silent for a moment, and finally nodded: "Okay, but you have to remember that this is Tingchen's choice."
"I know." Su Yao smiled slightly, "I just want to see her."
