Jiang Tingchen held her hand. "There's no need to thank me between us. Grandpa Jiang admires you very much now. He often says that you have a tenacity that never gives up, just like him when he was young."
Ning Nanxue couldn't help but laugh: "Grandpa Jiang is too kind to me."
When Fu Chen pushed the door open and entered the Fu family villa, the coldness on his body seemed to have not yet dissipated, and his face became extremely gloomy.
He casually threw his coat onto the sofa, making a small noise. Xu Zhiru was sitting in the living room and rushed over when she heard the noise.
"A Chen, what's wrong with you? You look so bad." Her voice was gentle and concerned.
Fu Chen walked to the wine cabinet, poured himself a glass of whiskey, drank most of it in one breath, and his Adam's apple rolled.
"Don't mention it." He waved his hands irritably, not looking at her. "That Ning Nanxue is simply climbing up the ladder. She's determined to do it."
Xu Zhiru approached him and asked cautiously, "Is this about the company? Did Huayun... withdraw its investment?"
"Withdrawn, of course." Fu Chen sneered, a bit annoyed. "That bastard Jiang Tingchen was very quick. I don't know what Ning Nanxue said to him, but he actually took back all the money he had invested in Fu's. Do you know what this means?"
He turned around, his face etched with unconcealable anger. "When Ning Nanxue was at Fu Corporation, she spearheaded several major projects. Those projects were deeply tied to Huayun. Now that Huayun has withdrawn its investment, not only is the funding chain severed, but those projects... I wonder how much liquidated damages they'll have to pay!"
Xu Zhiru was shocked when she heard this, and her voice changed a little: "Liquidated damages? Is it serious?"

How much money can they offer to save their lives? What's more, the people in the Su family are very smart. How could they throw their own money into a crumbling Fu Group?"
He walked over to the sofa and sat down, sinking into the soft cushions, looking a little tired.
"Moreover, Su Yao originally released the news that she would inject capital in order to put pressure on Ning Nanxue. Now that Huayun has withdrawn, the Su family's money has become our only hope. But if Ning Nanxue appears again in the name of the Ning Group, what will those projects and partners think?"
"I originally thought the Ning Group was finished, but I didn't expect her to be able to bring Jiang Tingchen along and revive it. If she announced the Ning Group's restart now, those projects and partners would only be more inclined towards the Ning Group instead of our Fu Group, which has a broken capital chain and is plagued by problems."

Xu Zhiru bit her lip, her heart in turmoil. "What should we do now? What about the penalty? What about the funds?"
"What else can we do?" Fu Chen's tone was filled with a hint of helplessness, something Xu Zhiru rarely saw in him. "I can only find money and people. Green Light Technology was originally my last hope, but Jiang Tingchen is definitely keeping a close eye on us now. Turning the tables on us won't be easy."
He suddenly remembered something and frowned even more. "By the way, where's Xu Zhao? Why haven't I seen him lately? His phone hasn't been ringing much either."
Although I am not very confident about Xu Zhao, I can't care about him now.
When Xu Zhiru heard Xu Zhao's name, her eyes flickered, and she spoke with a hint of uncertainty, "Azhao... he's been busy with other things lately, and they seem quite important. He called me before and said it might be inconvenient to contact me during this period. Maybe... he's not free."

The door of the study was closed, blocking out the sounds from outside.
Fu Chen walked to the desk and opened the drawer. There were some documents inside, all of which were project materials that he had handled or paid attention to before leaving Fu's.
He picked up one at random, and on it was Ning Nanxue's name, the main person in charge of the project.
