Chapter 24

Chapter 24

"free?"

Milo muttered, as if stunned by the word.

He shook his head and took hold of the corner of Arthur's uniform:

"No……"

What kind of expression is this?

Arthur frowned.

"Tu Tu, check the resentment value."

[Okay! Querying resentment value...]

Arthur's eyebrows jumped when he heard Tutu report a data that was higher than his blood pressure.

He raised his hand to his forehead.

Just as he thought, judging from Milo's reaction, he must be afraid.

After all, he was the ultimate bad guy who locked his bride in the living room on their wedding night and let her listen to him and several female servants make love until dawn.

As a married woman, it was normal for her to feel fear when she thought that her life was being held tightly in the hands of a man like him.

Fortunately, the forced pregnancy that led to the protagonist's dark transformation has not yet happened, so it may still be time to make amends.

The fingers holding the corner of his clothes were so tight that they turned pale.

Arthur wanted to say something, but then he remembered his own personality.

So he raised his eyebrows and glanced at Milo with a half-smile.

At this moment, the torn wedding dress was hanging in a messy manner on the body of the young and promising female insect marshal.

Arthur chuckled.

"After all, you're more desirable in your military uniform."

Later, just as he said, he never made things difficult for Milo again. In fact, because their schedules complemented each other so perfectly, he and Milo never even met.

Arthur didn't expect that the reunion would be on this occasion.

Milo was wearing a neat military uniform and sitting next to Arthur.

Today is a high-level military meeting.

From a population of tens of billions across forty-nine planets across three galaxies, only twenty-one seats were chosen, one of which belonged to Milo. Only Milo knew how arduous the journey to this position had been.

The fact that a female insect can stand on equal footing with a group of male insects undoubtedly hurts some people's eyes.

Suddenly, a sneer was heard in the meeting hall, and a malicious look was cast at Milo from the opposite side of the seat without any concealment.

"I was wondering what that smell was in this room. It turns out that Commander Qin is here. Please listen to my advice. Married female insects should stay in bed... No—"

The bearded officer named Huertu smiled ambiguously:

"Home is better."

Milo didn't respond, just stared at the bouquet in the middle of the conference table.

A beetle crawled out from the center of a rotten flower, stumbled towards the edge of the table, but finally, with a snap, it was crushed by someone's fingertips.

Huertu chuckled.

Milo gritted his teeth and clenched his hands under the table.

"What's that smell?"

Arthur suddenly spoke.

He leaned back in his chair, twirling the gun lazily, the cold metallic luster flowing between his slender joints.

Huertu choked.

Arthur's position was above his, and he was so arrogant because he was sure that Arthur would not care about humiliating Milo, but he did not expect Arthur to suddenly attack.

"This... Company Commander, this..."

Seeing Huertu's mouth tightened nervously, Arthur laughed: "Why are you so nervous, Commander Huertu? I'm just a little curious."

Arthur sniffed as he spoke.

"I've never smelled anything before, so I'm curious. Since you have such a keen nose and can detect scents that ordinary people can't, why don't you teach us a thing or two?"

Whispers gradually began to be heard around.

It was difficult to get off the tiger's back. Big beads of sweat fell from Huertu's forehead. "No, there is no smell. I must have smelled it wrongly."

"Wrong smell?"

Arthur raised his eyebrows and looked at Huertu lightly:

"So, it's your fault?"

The conference hall suddenly became quiet, and some people gasped and held their breath.

"Y-It's my fault."

But at this glance, Huertu jumped up as if he had been bitten by something:

"Commander Qin, I apologize to you."

Milo pursed his lips.

Arthur noticed that Milo moved slightly, and he knew without guessing that he was going to say something generous.

Arthur held Milo's thigh.

Milo's thigh muscles twitched suddenly and he looked at him.

"Apologize?"

Arthur chuckled and just casually played with the gun in his hand.

Click, the bullet was loaded, and it was particularly clear in the silent conference hall.

"So, if I killed the wrong person, would an apology be enough?"

Huertu's bearded face trembled and he could not speak clearly.

“No, no…”

"What's going on?"

The officer with gray beard arrived late, but it was not difficult to see the weight of his words.

Arthur put down his gun, acted like a rogue who could do nothing to him, and said jokingly, "I don't know, maybe I was shocked by your aura, Chief. Right, Huertu?"

Huertu had no choice but to nod.

The meeting proceeded as usual.

It was nothing but the same old stuff. Arthur had no intention of staying in this world for long, so naturally he had no interest in the so-called political struggles in this world.

He had only one goal, which was to reduce Milo's resentment towards him to zero.

"Arthur!"

Huertu called him from behind. Seeing Arthur turned around, perhaps still a little apprehensive, Huertu paused and changed his words:

"Sir, don't blame me for being nosy. But you should know that His Majesty arranged for Milo to marry you so that you could suppress that boy's arrogance. How could you defend him in public?"

The meeting was over and there was no one around, so Arthur didn't even bother to smile.

He looked at Huertu coldly:

"How come I don't know what you're talking about? Did His Majesty tell you privately, or did you forge the imperial decree?"

"you!"

Huertu's beard blew in anger, and he flicked his sleeve heavily:

"You don't know what's good for you!"

Huertu had just been sent away when Arthur looked up and met a pair of bright black eyes.

Caught off guard by the gaze, Milo's eyes shrank back, still a little wary.

"Don't overthink it."

Arthur interrupted Milo before he could speak.

"I'm not saying that for you, I'm saying that for myself."

His biggest hope now is to complete the mission quickly and leave this world as soon as possible.

Milo nodded, not quite understanding, "I understand."

The car slowly stopped in front of Arthur, and a soldier quickly ran down from the driver's seat and saluted Arthur respectfully:

"Company Commander, I'll take you back."

Arthur took a long step and sat in the leather back seat.

The car door was still wide open.

The little soldier rubbed his fingers together hesitantly, looking at Milo at the door. Milo lowered his eyes and stared at the ground in the car, as if waiting for Arthur to speak.

Arthur sighed, "Get in the car."

As soon as Arthur's car drove away, a mud-spattered SUV stopped right behind it.

A handsome young man jumped out from the driver's seat, his even wheat-colored skin looking natural.

The young man looked around, searching for someone:

"Boss?"

The car stopped steadily in the backyard.

Arthur got out of the car, and Milo followed him.

After all, the two still lived together, so Arthur didn't take their overly overlapping paths to heart.

"Owner."

The door closed quietly and Milo called him from behind.

The original name was changed back.

Arthur paused.

Milo knelt before him.

Two powerful thighs were spread apart, and the inner thighs trembled and pressed against the leather of Arthur's military boots.

Milo looked up at him, his nose just inches from the metal buckle of his belt.

"Master," the kneeling young man called again. "I'm wearing a military uniform today."

The leather military uniform shone with a cold light. A golden corset was tightened around the waist, outlining the slender waist and forming a sharp contrast with the young man's broad shoulders with epaulettes.

The young man's breathing rose and fell, and he just looked at Arthur.

Arthur was furious.

He frowned:

"You said you understood, what did you understand?"

“You like uniforms.”

This time Milo answered quickly.

Arthur choked on his saliva and almost ruined his character.

Milo had already grabbed his hand and pressed it against his chest.

There was a piece of burning flesh under my palm, and a heart was beating rapidly in my chest.

"Master," Milo's eyes were deep, "please punish me."
