Chapter 7 Chapter 7 Minor Injury, Sister Jiang Showed Mercy

Chapter 7 Chapter 7 Minor Injury, Sister Jiang Showed Mercy

When Yang Han received the call, he was completely stunned. He sat straight on the bed for a long time before he suddenly reacted. He screamed, grabbed a coat and rushed out.

Half an hour later, when he rushed to the hospital, he saw Cheng Shuze sitting at the door of the emergency room with his head tilted up. When he saw the blood on his face, he screamed like a plucked and scalded duck.

"Shut up, the noise is giving me a headache." Cheng Shuze pressed the wound with a towel in his left hand to stop the bleeding, leaning against the back of the metal chair in the hospital with his eyes closed.

"Holy shit, holy shit! Holy shit!!!" Yang Han looked at the red stain on half of his face with some fear. The bloodstains looked like someone had wiped them away but not wiped them clean. The bloodstains spread to his temples and behind his ears, leaving streaks that were shocking. "What's wrong with you?"

"Were you hit by a car or were you beaten? Why does it look so serious?" Yang Han looked around, "Where is Sister Jiang? She's not here?"

Jiang Yiyu called him. Logically, she should be with Cheng Shuze in the hospital, but he didn't see her. Yang Han realized that something was wrong.

"No way? You didn't really get this injury from Sister Jiang beating you, did you?"

Yang Han lowered his voice: "Do you really want to be tough with Sister Jiang and then get beaten up?"

Cheng Shuze: "If I had used force, would I still be in the hospital now?"

"If you hadn't intended to do anything wrong, Sister Jiang wouldn't have hit you like that." Yang Han plopped down on the seat next to him, gasping as he looked at Brother Cheng's face. "You've lost so much blood, the cut on your forehead must be pretty big, right? What did the doctor say?"

As he was speaking, a nurse in a pink work uniform came over with a tray and motioned for Cheng Shuze to remove the towel pressing on the wound.

"Let's clean the wound first. Your wound isn't very deep. I'll just need two or three stitches and a tetanus shot. It's not serious."

Yang Han glanced at the wound on Cheng Shuze's forehead and felt his stomach churning again from drinking too much. He quickly looked away: "Is his condition not serious?"

"There was also someone inside who cut his finger with a kitchen knife while cooking. Luckily, we arrived in time and he was just sent to the operating room. Do you think his injury is serious?"

Yang Han shook his head violently: "That's not serious, not serious at all."

"What kind of bottle was used to hit him? The wound isn't deep, but why is it bleeding so much?" Although half of the man's face was covered in blood, he was still very handsome. His facial features were deep and cold, like a nobleman who walked out of a picture magazine. Sitting here, he was completely separated from others in two worlds.

The nurse prepared the sterilizing equipment, glanced at him, and spoke in a much lighter tone: "You're lucky. This is a minor injury. If it had gone any further and hurt your eye, it would have been troublesome. It might be a little painful, so bear with it for a while."

After the wound was cleaned and sutured in the treatment room, Cheng Shuze frowned at best, not uttering a single sound. The nurse was about to give him some instructions when she remembered the chaos when he was first rushed to the emergency room. She looked around and couldn't find the tall, beautiful, nervous-looking woman who had supported him. She couldn't help but exclaim, "Where's his family?"

"Here, here." Yang Han, who was sitting on a chair, heard the family members being called and hurriedly raised his hand from a distance.

"Oh?" The young nurse was puzzled for a moment, then she keenly realized that the patient might have some entanglements. Without saying anything, she followed the steps to instruct the patient not to let the wound come into contact with water, come back in 10 days to remove the stitches, and other precautions. Then she picked up the equipment and prepared to leave.

"Okay, okay, we'll remember that. Thank you." Yang Han crossed his legs and said nonchalantly, "But will the stitches on his face leave scars? Wouldn't that disfigure him?"

The nurse subconsciously glanced at the man's face, which was still stained with blood and looked a little disheveled, but still stood out in the crowd. It would be a pity if this face was disfigured.

She added earnestly, "Take good care of your wound and avoid irritating it. If it heals well, it shouldn't leave any scars or disfigurement."

Since Cheng Shuze's face was fine, Yang Han stretched out his body and relaxed. If Cheng Shuze's face was disfigured, he wouldn't feel sad, but he would. It would be a crime to destroy the aesthetic heritage given to mankind by the Creator.

"Since everything is fine, let's go. The phone call this morning scared me to death. I didn't even have food when I came out. I'm starving." Yang Han stood up.

Cheng Shuze said indifferently: "Go away."

"What? Aren't you leaving?" Yang Han stood up and then sat down again. "Are you waiting for Sister Jiang to come back?"

Cheng Shuze sat leaning back in the chair with his eyelids drooping. The snow-white gauze set off his haggard face and bloodstains. He looked as miserable as he could be.

Yang Han choked: "A self-torture trick?"

"If you want to use the self-torture trick, you have to see the person. I've been here for over an hour, and I haven't even seen Sister Jiang."

If Brother Cheng was injured by someone else, the self-torture trick might have some effect, but it was Sister Jiang who did it. Given Jiang Yiyu's temper, she would probably think that the blow was too light.

The smell of hospital disinfectant was unpleasant. They were just waiting, not knowing when they could leave. Yang Han tried to persuade him earnestly, "Brother, this is still the emergency room of a public hospital, not a private one. If you stay here for too long, what if someone takes a picture of you and the photos get leaked? Even if we have to wait, can we go outside and wait? Young Master Cheng?"

"If you feel annoyed, just go out." Cheng Shuze glanced at him impatiently, crossing his arms and obviously intending to play the victim here until the end.

Seeing that Cheng Shuze refused to leave, Yang Han had no choice but to roll his eyes, muttered a few words under his breath about a couple of dogs, and quickly moved away from Cheng Shuze and sat down at the other end of the bench.

He didn't want to wait for help outside the venue, so he asked Sister Jiang to come and take the person away quickly.

Yang Han was halfway through editing a message when he heard hurried footsteps coming towards them. Yang Han looked up and saw Cheng Shuze's assistant, whom he had met before, rushing towards his boss in horror, holding a paper bag.

"Mr. Cheng, what are you doing...?" He Yue tried hard to control his expression, trying not to appear too frightened.

God knows how much shock he felt when he received the message from his boss's wife asking him to bring spare clothes and go to the hospital emergency room to pick someone up.

How did his handsome, unrestrained and wealthy boss end up in the emergency room for no reason? If Cheng Shao's face or body was disfigured, how would he explain this to other colleagues in the company who had always regarded their boss's face as the company's golden signboard and even planned to use the boss's face for publicity in the next quarter?

"Why are you here?" Cheng Shuze frowned, looking a little tired.

He Yue said cautiously: "It was Miss Jiang who sent me a message asking me to come and pick you up."

Cheng Shuze: "Where is she?"

"Uh, Miss Jiang said she has something to do this afternoon, so I might not be able to contact her."

Yang Han: "Jiang Jie, we just left the hospital. You don't know how horrific Brother Cheng's injuries were! He needed over a dozen stitches, and the doctor said he was almost blind!"

Jiang Yiyun: [Oh?]

Yang Han typed furiously, continuing to exaggerate the facts: [Yes, yes, Brother Cheng is in such a terrible state. He was in so much pain, crying his eyes out at the scene. Sister Jiang, why don't you come and comfort Brother Cheng?]

Jiang Yiyun: [Hahahahaha, really? Did you take any photos or videos?]

This familiar tone gave Yang Han a bad feeling: […Who are you? Why are you holding her phone?]

The phone vibrated and another chat box popped up.

Tang Ya: Hahahahahahaha, it’s me, Sister Jiang fell asleep.

Yang Han: Why are you with Sister Jiang?

Tang Ya: Oh, Sister Jiang was crying her heart out when she came to me, and her hands and clothes were covered in blood. It scared me.

Yang Han: Is she okay?

Tang Ya: He drank a little here and scolded Cheng Shuze for an hour. He's asleep now, so it shouldn't be a problem. How are you doing? Is Brother Cheng's injury really that serious?

Yang Han: Bullshit, I was just kidding. It was just a minor injury, just two or three stitches, it won't even leave a scar. Sister Jiang didn't hit her hard. Wasn't her phone turned off? Brother Cheng just called her over a dozen times and none of them went through. How did you send messages on her WeChat?

Tang Ya: She left her WeChat account on my computer and asked me to keep an eye on it in case anything urgent happened. What's going on between them lately? Why did it get so serious?

Yang Han: It's hard to say. Brother Cheng has such a bad temper, and Sister Jiang has a bit of a spoiled brat personality. When they were dating, it was all very public, a school bully duo. Now they're having internal conflicts, and it's like a bolt from the blue, sparking a fire.

Tang Ya: Why don't you try to persuade Brother Cheng to be nicer to Sister Jiang, be softer, and speak more gently. Don't always act like a young master, because Sister Jiang won't fall for it.

Yang Han: Is there still justice? Do you want to see Brother Cheng's injuries and then tell me who has the bad attitude?

Tang Ya: Anyway, I told you, Ling Jingzhi is back, and he even asked Sister Jiang out for dinner and an exhibition. I haven't seen him for a few years, and he seems to be even more handsome.

Yang Han: ? You have met him?

Tang Ya: There are photos of him in his circle of friends. He is quite gentle and elegant. There are some photos of him exercising that are quite good-looking, and the proportions are really good.

Yang Han: Who would post a photo like this on WeChat Moments? How come I've never seen it before? Did he block me?

Tang Ya: Nonsense! I took Sister Jiang's phone and saw it. He posted it specifically for Sister Jiang. What did he mean? Don't you understand? Let me tell you, when a girl is heartbroken, if there's a gentle, handsome guy constantly by her side, comforting her, it's easy for him to take advantage of her. Tell Brother Cheng, and let him think it over.

Yang Han: Tsk, he's not worthy of being Brother Cheng's rival. In terms of looks, figure, and family background, he's nothing. Those muscles he has, doesn't Brother Cheng have them? He just doesn't bother showing them off. These two will always make up after a few days after their fight, and once they do, what's Ling Jingzhi's business?

Tang Ya: Are you an idiot? Divorce is a big deal. I think they're going to break up this time. I bet you five bucks, next time Ling Jing asks Sister Jiang out, she'll definitely agree. Don't come complaining then.
