Chapter 52 The Secret of Black Gold

Back in the side courtyard, Black Gold was still locked in the attic, but this time Song Liyun left it some more dried fruit and water.

It wasn't that Song Liyun didn't trust it, but Black Gold wasn't an ordinary monkey; it was a matter of life and death, so even if it suffered some injustice, she had to be careful.

As soon as Song Liyun came down from the attic, she saw two people, one tall and one short, standing at the entrance of the main house.

When she woke up, the door to the main room was wide open, and Xiao An was sweeping the floor with a broom. When he saw her come out, he stopped and gave her a smile.

Song Liyun pinched a few small braids behind his ears and laughed, "It's still early! Why don't you sleep a little longer, Xiao An?"

Xiao An shook his head, holding the broom and just smiling without saying a word.

Xiao An still doesn't like to talk, so Song Liyun affectionately patted his head before rushing to the front yard to prepare breakfast for everyone.

But there was already someone in the kitchen.
