It was a dark and windy night.

That night, a young explorer named Li Yang and his friend Xiao Ming arrived at the gate of the abandoned hospital. They were wearing sportswear, carrying bags, and their eyes were determined.
"Xiao Ming, are you sure we want to go in?" Li Yang asked nervously.
Xiao Ming's eyes widened, and he looked courageous. "Of course! I've heard the legends about this place, and I must uncover its secrets and see if those ghosts really exist!"
Li Yang smiled helplessly. He knew that once Xiao Ming made a decision, nothing could change it. He could only pray silently, hoping that they would be safe.
The two men carefully pushed open the hospital door, and a cold wind blew in their faces, making them shiver. The lights in the hospital were off, and only moonlight filtered through the windows, spilling onto the empty corridor. They took out their flashlights and illuminated the path ahead.
They walked along the corridor, and the doors of the wards on both sides closed one after another, as if to stop them from moving forward. Li Yang felt an invisible pressure, and he nervously held Xiao Ming's hand.
Xiao Ming patted Li Yang comfortingly and continued forward. They arrived at a ward and found the door ajar. Xiao Ming pushed it open and was stunned by the scene inside.
A figure was lying on the bed with a painful expression on his face. Li Yang and Xiao Ming took a closer look and found that this person was actually a friend of theirs who had been treated in the hospital and had disappeared.
"Oh my God, what's going on?" Li Yang asked in horror.
At this moment, the figure suddenly opened his eyes and looked at them with empty eyes. He slowly sat up, his face full of resentment.
"Why are you here?" His voice was as ethereal as a ghost.
Li Yang and Xiao Ming turned pale with fear. They replied tremblingly, "We just want to uncover the secrets here."
The figure suddenly laughed, and the laughter echoed in the empty ward: "You have found the answer. This is the gathering place of ghosts, and I am one of them."
Li Yang and Xiao Ming were so frightened that they ran out of the hospital as fast as they could. They swore that they would never go near this hospital again.
