Chapter 46 Yi Yunbo let out a very soft and low sound.

Chapter 46 Yi Yunbo let out a very soft and low sound.

The doors and windows of the room were tightly closed, and the incense smoke curled upwards. Only the curtains could be seen hanging down, fluttering even without wind. The sounds from behind the screen echoed in the stuffy room, one side icy cold and the other fiery hot. Cui Yiluo was caught between the ice and fire, feeling that she had reached her limit.

Snowflakes fell on the screen, as if out of pity and tenderness, and slender fingers gently brushed over it.

Cui Yiluo, whose rationality had been almost completely overwhelmed, was still startled and couldn't help but tremble. But she was already like dough, her fingers gripping his thick wrist, and she couldn't shake him in the slightest.

The screen in front of him swayed and moved on the ground with a loud noise.

Not long after, it crashed to the ground.

Jiang Yunjin seemed to still retain some rationality, and promptly withdrew and placed the pad underneath.

Cui Yiluo bit her lip, the fragrance still rising. He grabbed her waist and below, about to turn her over, but she suddenly pressed him down, a smile playing on her lips.

A muffled groan came from below.

I don't know if it was because of her recklessness, or something else.

But even with all her reason gone, Cui Yiluo still enjoyed the feeling of being manipulated by her.

At one point, her slender waist was pinched tighter and tighter, even leaving faint finger marks.

Subsequently, he took the initiative, and Cui Yiluo was no match for him at all.

Finally, after an unknown amount of time, the light shining on the skin turned dim and yellowish. The private room was completely in disarray. The screen was crooked and lying on the ground, the window frame had wet fingerprints, the tablecloth was wrinkled, and the carpet had damp marks, as if it had been spilled with tea. Even the curtains had been torn in half and were scattered messily on the ground.

Cui Yiluo's eyes were red, and her fair face was flushed. She nestled in the man's arms and fell into a deep sleep.

In her hazy state, she felt Jiang Yunjin carefully wiping her. He was gentle and meticulous now, completely different from before. She scratched, bit, and even kicked him, but he ignored her completely.

again.

Cui Yiluo felt that Jiang Yunjin was indeed diligent, and he would use every last bit of energy to do whatever he did.

It was evening when they returned to Yuzhu Courtyard. Cui Yiluo was wrapped in a cloak by Jiang Yunjin, her face buried in his chest, fast asleep. If the cloak were removed, her face, as beautiful as a blooming peony and moistened by the rain, would be revealed, and one would immediately know what had happened.

He carried her from the side door where the carriage was parked to the room. Along the way, he seemed to run into Minggu, who was by the side of Old Madam Jiang. Minggu was very surprised to see Jiang Yunjin carrying her and asked if the young mistress was ill.

Jiang Yunjin simply said that he had fallen asleep in the carriage.

Minggu probably didn't notice the hoarseness in his voice, and was therefore even more surprised. Jiang Yunjin was such a cold-hearted person, how could he be so tender-hearted as to not want to disturb his sleeping wife and carry her around the mansion without regard for propriety? Although it is natural for husband and wife to have sex, they should keep their distance outside the bedroom. How could he disregard others?

Sure enough, he had just carried the dazed Cui Yilu back to her room to bathe and cleaned up the spilled liquid, and before he could even bathe himself, he was called away by Old Madam Jiang.

Before leaving, Cui Yiluo seemed to hear him instruct Wenfeng: "The madam has fallen asleep. No matter who comes, say you don't want to see her."

Cui Yiluo was confused for a moment. Only he and she lived in Yuzhu Courtyard, so who else could be there? After a while, she belatedly realized that the Cui family had arrived.

Wasn't it because he was under the influence of Zhao Jian's incense that he acted recklessly with her outside, completely disregarding the rules?

But when he suddenly abandoned the rule that there could be no second chances, and even changed the style as if he had no teacher, she couldn't stand it anymore. Cui Yiluo dared not think back to the afternoon.

Window sills, screens, carpets, couches, tables and stools.

However, she found it amusing to watch him frown, tilt his head back, and let his Adam's apple bob slightly in discomfort. She even lowered her face to deliberately provoke him.

As she vaguely thought of this, she suddenly realized that after she had been taken over, she had bitten his Adam's apple in a moment of excitement. Could she have left a mark?

However, since he wasn't cursing her, it was his fault for using so much force, as if the earth were shaking.

-

Meanwhile, in the darkness, the carriage traveled for several hours and was approaching the border of the neighboring Linzhou.

Inside the carriage, Zhao Jian patted the box placed on the ground with satisfaction. It was full of silver notes.

He laughed excitedly, his chubby face squeezing together, narrowing his eyes into slits, but still unable to hide the playful and smug look in his eyes.

What didn't happen two years ago has unexpectedly turned into a huge fortune today.

Although it was a pity he didn't meet Cui Yiluo, with ten thousand taels of silver, what kind of beautiful concubine could he possibly want to seduce? But then again, Cui Yiluo's face was indeed stunningly beautiful.

Jiang Yunjin got it for nothing.

Zhao Jian chuckled. His reputation was widespread. The young Grand Secretary, who held great power, was still manipulated by his nonsense.

However, when he said he had already succeeded that time, and that Cui Yiluo had seduced him, Jiang Yunjin just stared at him silently. It seems he didn't care much about Cui Yiluo either. Hearing that his wife was such a promiscuous woman, yet still not caring, didn't that mean he didn't have Cui Yiluo in his heart at all?

Such a cold-hearted person is not as gentle and considerate as him. Thinking that Cui Yiluo's success was only superficial, Zhao Jian felt a surge of smugness. She should have married him in the first place; wasn't he much more caring than Jiang Yunjin?

Moreover, Jiang Yunjin has a very eccentric personality.

He was being escorted by his servants, who ordered him to confess everything. As he opened his mouth, he addressed Cui Yiluo as his cousin as usual, when suddenly he asked, "What did Yiluo call you before?"

“She never…” He was stunned by his inexplicable question and spoke subconsciously, then suddenly realized what he meant and said stiffly, “Of course she calls me cousin.”

The man seemed to chuckle softly.

But when Zhao Jian looked up, he saw that the man's face was still sullen, as if he had never smiled. Perhaps he had never smiled in his entire life.

Seeing Jiang Yunjin looking down, he tapped his fingers lightly twice on the table. "You are not cousins, so it is inappropriate to address each other like this."

Zhao Jian chuckled at this thought. He really cared about rules. Wasn't he Cui Yiluo's cousin in name? Shouldn't he call her cousin? However, he changed his address to "Young Madam Jiang." It was just a title; he didn't care.

Zhao Jian stroked the box affectionately again, unable to suppress a chuckle. He hadn't expected the Jiang family's reputation to be so important to Jiang Yunjin; he could so easily ask for ten thousand taels of silver.

Zhao Jian began to fantasize about his life after returning to Ningzhou. First, he would buy a new house, then divorce his wife and marry a younger, more beautiful one, and then buy dozens of beautiful maids. Most importantly, he could use the money to try his luck at the gambling den. He had gotten ten thousand taels so easily this time, it seemed his luck had turned around.

I wonder how Cui Yiluo is doing now. Judging from Jiang Yunjin's sinister and frightening appearance, he probably locked himself in his room and tortured her as soon as he got back to the manor. Besides, he deliberately fabricated and exaggerated it. After all, being stabbed by a weak woman would be too humiliating. Compared to that, it's not so important for Jiang Yunjin to know that Cui Yiluo is a vicious woman.

The thought of his good days while Cui Yiluo would have to live a miserable life from now on made Zhao Jian laugh even harder, his fat face squeezing into several pieces.

Suddenly, the carriage came to an abrupt stop.

Outside the car door, a crowd of people had gathered.

-

Inside Jixue Studio, a tall screen wall stood, and the bedroom behind it was bright. Cui Yiluo, exhausted after being tossed and turned for several hours, nestled in the brocade quilt and fell into a deep sleep.

It wasn't until the door opened and Jiang Yunjin returned to the room that Cui Yiluo woke up with a start, opened her eyes, and closed them again upon seeing Jiang Yunjin.

However, he seemed to have been gone for quite a while, apparently having been severely reprimanded by Old Madam Jiang. Yet, even after being scolded, he remained calm and composed, seemingly unaffected by the absurdity of the afternoon.

The sound of water running in the bathroom filled the air, and soon after he changed his clothes and came out of the bathroom.

"It's time to eat."

He stood before the couch and spoke in a dignified voice.

Cui Yiluo couldn't sleep any longer. She chuckled and then turned slightly to the side, supporting her still flushed face with her wrist. The candlelight shone through the thin gauze, illuminating the rounded shape of her shoulder, where a tooth mark could be faintly seen.

Cui Yiluo looked up at him with a cold smile: "My husband has been tormenting me like this, and you won't even let me get some sleep?"

Jiang Yunjin's eyes darkened, then he turned his head away, "Not eating on time is bad for your health."

Cui Yilu smiled enigmatically: "My husband should be worried about his health."

After all, he did it so many times suddenly and with such force; I hope he doesn't actually injure himself.

Upon hearing this, in the dim candlelight, Jiang Yunjin's face indeed turned ashen.

"Change your clothes first, I'll wait for you outside."

The man turned around, but Cui Yiluo hugged his waist and abdomen. She knelt on the couch and straightened up, her arms climbing up his shoulders from behind. The wide, thin sleeves of her robe slid down, and her snow-white skin was tinged with a warm glow by the dim candlelight, like a piece of beautiful jade.

But her slender wrists bore fingerprints, as if they had been deeply restrained.

Her soft, slightly husky voice was captivating in the dark night, "My husband has always studied the classics and learned the ways of a gentleman. There is one thing I don't understand: how did you learn those things today?"

Actually, the time she used the Bewitching Charm on him, he wasn't entirely innocent, but she insisted on seeing his discomfort. What's more, today's situation was even worse than the time she used the Bewitching Charm.

Jiang Yunjin, of course, couldn't stand these words. He was indeed angered by her. His face tightened and his voice turned deep: "Cui Yiluo."

Cui Yilu couldn't help but smile, but her tone was aggrieved: "Didn't my husband call me Yilu today?"

Amidst the ebb and flow, she distinctly heard a very soft, low sound, as if barely suppressed, squeezed out from his throat after he nibbled on her earlobe: "Yi Luo."

The man's jawline tightened further, revealing a sharper edge.

"Today's situation is urgent, and neither of us is of sound mind. There's no need for such actions in the future..."

"Is my husband still standing here?"

Cui Yiluo suddenly interrupted, and the standing man paused, his brows furrowing.

Cui Yiluo naturally released her arms from his broad shoulders, sat back on the couch, and smiled, "Didn't my husband say he was going out to wait for me and let me change my clothes before having dinner? Could it be that you've changed your mind and won't have dinner?"

Jiang Yunjin turned to the side, his face darkening as he was toyed with, and his expression rose again.

Going out like this would be tantamount to breaking his own rules and etiquette once again. Cui Yiluo's eyes, reflecting the candlelight, showed a hint of liveliness as she watched him with great interest.

But Jiang Yunjin eventually left the room.

Seeing that he had actually left the room, Cui Yiluo felt bored instead.

However, she was indeed a little hungry, so she temporarily abandoned her plan to tease him and got up to change her clothes.

Before taking off her nightgown, Cui Yiluo looked at the neatly tied sash and suddenly chuckled. Although the nightgown was light and pretty, it was a bit troublesome to put on. Just thinking about how he frowned as he skillfully put the nightgown on her and tied the sash so neatly made Cui Yiluo feel amused.

After changing their clothes, a reheated dinner was served in the dining hall.

Jiang Yunjin cleaned up for her as soon as he returned to the mansion, but was then called away by the old lady, so he naturally did not have a meal.

Jiang Yunjin continued to adhere to the rule of not speaking while eating, and the dining hall remained silent.

Suddenly, footsteps came from outside the door.

A servant rushed into the dining hall.

"Young Master, Young Madam, something has happened to Young Master Zhao!"

Cui Yiluo frowned, and her first reaction was to look at Jiang Yunjin, only to see that he also had a frown between his brows and a gloomy expression.
