Chapter 1022 Snake Vortex
It is difficult to go deeper into the Hall of Mirrors, but it is very easy to leave - just think in your mind that you want to leave, and after a maximum of three space changes, you will return to the entrance.
That's why it's called the Hall of Mirrors, not the Mirror Maze.
After leaving the Hall of Mirrors, Aiwass arranged the ceremony and began to summon Arnold the Moon Deer.
None of them had dream navigation devices, and could only use the Moon Deer to stably cross the gaps between dreams. However, with Arnold's real name, this was not a difficult task.
But what surprised Aiwass was...
——The summoned Moon Deer Arnold was not Xi Tiansi and did not recognize them.
Although it still spoke with the sharp voice of a jester, it was not as crazy and excited as "Moon Deer Arnold" had been when he left. Instead, it spoke softly and slowly, just like when they were in front of Shadow Sky before they set out.
In other words…
It is not that Xi Tiansi has an incarnation called Arnold the Moon Deer.
Instead, he replaced Arnold in some way, intercepted and responded to Ying Tiansi's call in advance!
——This means that even Shadow Tiansi cannot detect Xi Tiansi’s acting!
But this was a good thing for Arsen - he could now tell Arnold the story he had told Xi Tiansi once before.
Although we're carrying three people this time, the distance from the Hall of Mirrors to the Geometry Heavenly Master's territory isn't that far. Therefore, this story alone is enough for the journey.
Yasen doesn't have to dig up new black history to ride the "Moon Deer Bus" again.
But this also made Yasen feel a little regretful - he had originally thought that if he was just a little short of travel expenses, then he would have a reason to hear something interesting from Sherlock. If he was just a little short, then Sherlock's story should be completed.
When the Moon Deer leaped to the ground, they had reached their destination.
This is the territory of Geometry Tiansi - Snake Vortex.
Although it is called snake, there are actually no snakes here.
It is so named because the buildings here look like coiled snakes.
The "Snake Vortex" is composed of buildings with various geometric patterns. If you look at them from directly above, you can see that they form a strange, perfect golden spiral that continues to shrink inward and downward.
Each geometric shape is depicted in four vibrant colors: red, green, yellow, and blue. These geometric patterns vary in size and shape, but strangely, no single color appears in adjacent patterns.
But if you don't look down from directly above... then you will see a strange sight.
The world before our eyes is a paradox with upside down and front and back reversed.
Unlike the Hall of Mirrors, here there are many people dressed as scholars, walking around in a hurry, without looking around.
And their "self-perspectives" are also different.
For some, it's stairs; for others, it's wall decorations; for some, it's "up and down"; for others, it's "left and right." The illusion of light and shadow, the reversal of up and down, now—in a dream—becomes a tangible reality.
Countless such inverted four-color staircases combine to form Penrose steps, which appear to be going up or down, but are actually infinitely looping and never ending.
——This is the Snake Vortex, a vortex of "impossible" dreams that exists with paradox at its core.
Aiwass and the others stood at the outermost edge of the vortex, looking at the colorful and infinitely looping stairs extending downwards, but they didn't know how to enter.
The Snake Vortex is a special realm that exists almost exclusively for posthumous mathematicians. The Geometry Celestial Master requires extremely high mathematical talent from his apostles. Even a genius mage who obtains a fragment of the Geometry Celestial Master may not be recognized by him to become his apostle.
All of this is because the Geometry Celestial Master needs these apostles to assist him in data-assisted calculations within the Serpent Vortex, deciphering the "180,000 Ultimate Formulas," thereby reaching the ultimate source of truth and proving the truth of all things. The "Serpent Vortex," built on paradox, was established for this very purpose... Only here can the power of "mathematics" be transformed into reality and shatter illusions.
Almost all mathematicians throughout history were here. Except for one possibility—that they had already made considerable achievements in other fields, so they were snatched away by the Great Master and became his apostles. Otherwise, anyone with even a modicum of talent would be retained by the Geometry Master to complete his nearly impossible task.
If the Geometry God can open the door to truth, magic will no longer be driven by runes, truth and spell language, but will be described by geometry and formulas - but at present, this road is still far away.
But from another perspective… In this world, as long as you have a good understanding of mathematics, you can have a stable job in the afterlife. Even if you are not a transcendent, at least you will not be recycled and turned into material for new souls.
Anyone who does not have a deep understanding of mathematics will be trapped in this whirlpool maze and unable to tell the difference between inside and outside, up and down.
When Aiwass and the others appeared here, they became an obvious "foreign object".
But although they were extremely conspicuous, almost no one turned to look at them.
The surrounding space suddenly curled and collapsed inwards, and a man in a white robe walked down a step and appeared out of thin air.
He was a human with an ordinary appearance, but judging by the style of his robe, he probably came from the Narcissus Principality and should have been dead not too long ago.
"A few of you have come here..."
He frowned as he spoke, but suddenly noticed the antlers on Aiwass's head.
The man's eyes widened as he realized Aiwass's identity. His voice immediately rose a few notches. "Son of the Candle Master... With all due respect, sir. My name is Ola. May I ask what brings you to the Snake Vortex?"
"Haibasha asked me to come and take something away for her."
Aiwass said, "Do you know Ms. Hypatia?"
"Of course, there aren't many people here who don't know her!"
Ola answered without hesitation: "Are you going to her studio?"
"Can you lead the way for us?"
"No problem, sir."
Ola nodded: "But I have to report to the teachers first..."
After getting Aiwass's nod of permission, the space in front of him collapsed again.
Ola took a step forward and disappeared into thin air again.
All Aiwas could see was traces of folding in the void - it was not "teleportation", it was just "walking up a step".
