The commandos quickly adjusted their tactical equipment to completely block out external sounds and ensure their whereabouts would not be exposed.
"General, we've detected a large cave ahead, and the energy fluctuations inside are extremely strong." Shao Chengyi whispered in Bai Yan's ear, his tone filled with worry.
Bai Yan pondered for a moment and nodded. "The Zerg's breeding center might be here. Everyone, prepare for battle. Divide into two groups according to the plan. One group will attract the attention of the Zerg outside, and the other group will follow me to raid the center."
The assault team quickly divided into groups. Shao Chengyi led a team to set up jamming devices along the path on the right, while Bai Yan personally led the main attack team into the depths of the cave.

Deep in the cave, huge insect eggs piled up like mountains and black smoke continued to emerge.

A fierce battle broke out instantly. Every attack of the guard bugs caused the ground to shake violently, but the high-intensity energy weapons equipped by the commandos gradually gained the upper hand.
Several commandos took the opportunity to rush to the breeding center and set up high-explosive energy devices.

This Zerg is different from ordinary guard bugs. Its body is covered with a dark red shell, it has four wings growing on its back, and its sharp claws emit a cold light.
It has two long tentacles growing on its head, and the ends of the tentacles continuously release weak electric currents.
"Elite Zerg..." Bai Yan said in a low voice, with a hint of vigilance in his eyes.
The elite Zerg let out a scream and then pounced towards Bai Yan at astonishing speed.
The two fought instantly, Bai Yan waved the light sword to block the opponent's attack, and at the same time seized the opportunity to counterattack.

However, the shadow dodged the bullets easily and pounced accurately into the center of the team.
One commando didn't even have a chance to react before he was torn apart by the huge claws, and blood spurted out.
"It's the mutant Zerg!" Shao Chengyi reminded loudly and quickly switched weapons to aim at the target.
The black shadow slowly stood up, revealing its full appearance.
"Quick, evacuate!"
The mutant Zerg was three meters tall, covered with a layer of dark metallic shell, and its eyes flashed with bloodthirsty red light.
The forelimbs are sharper than those of ordinary Zerg, and even have a cold metallic texture.
"Hurry!" Bai Yan turned suddenly, and his light sword swept across, cutting off several larvae that pounced on him. He shouted, "Don't stop! Get out of the red line!"
Shao Chengyi covered the evacuation of his team members while firing at the mutant Zerg.
When his high-energy bullet hit the Zerg's shell, it only caused a few sparks and did not hurt it at all.
"The density of this shell is higher than that of any known Zerg!" Shao Chengyi gritted his teeth and kept firing the weapon in his hand, but every shot was easily resolved by the opponent.
"Cover their retreat, I will deal with it." Bai Yan said coldly, took a wrong step, and stood in front of the mutant Zerg.

"This is an order." Bai Yan said in a cold tone.
The mutated Zerg sensed the threat from Bai Yan, let out a sharp scream, and pounced on all fours.
Bai Yan swung his sword to meet the attack. The energy of the light sword drew a dazzling arc of light in the darkness, colliding with the sharp claws of the mutant Zerg, sparking a burst of violent sparks.
