I got the hang of Yunwushu very quickly and bought several of them in a row.
"I'll take care of the rest." Chriselle stopped him from continuing.
He didn't say no, as he was very aware of his own body. "Okay, I'll lend you my hand."
The cold voice echoed weakly in his ears, like the ethereal morning mist.
Chriselle immediately became alert: "Dizzy? Do you have any strength left?"
Yun Wushu shook his head slightly and slowly stood up with the help of his hand.
As soon as I stood up, the screen in front of me suddenly went black. The familiar feeling of dizziness came over me. I lost my strength and could only lean on Chriselle's shoulder to slowly stand up.
"I'll carry you to the sofa to relax for a while." Without saying a word, Chrisel picked up Yunwushu horizontally, trying to be as gentle as possible.
Chrisel gently placed the cloud book on the sofa in the living room, pulled a blanket over him, and poured a glass of warm water to him.
"How can I feel at ease with you like this?" Chrisel asked in a low voice, with worry between her brows.
Yun Wushu leaned against the sofa, tilted his head back slightly, closed his eyes and regulated his breathing. After a while, he slowly opened his eyes and smiled faintly at Chrisel: "I'm fine, just a little dizzy. I'll be fine after a rest. Don't be so nervous."
Kristel squatted beside the sofa, looked up at him, and reached out to gently push away a strand of hair that had fallen on his forehead.
The pain in my eyes melted away like ink dropping into water.
Yun Wushu didn't refute him, but just put his forehead against his and said softly: "Don't worry, I am very satisfied now."
He initially thought he would die alone, but gradually became more greedy.
But... he felt a little regretful...
Chrisel was stunned for a moment, then sat down on the sofa and held Yunwushu's hand in his own.
His hands were broad and warm, gently wrapping around Yun Wushu's slender, cold fingertips.
"Yunwushu, you know what?" Chrisel suddenly spoke in a low and soft voice, "You really scare me like this."
Yun Wushu was slightly stunned and turned to look at him: "What are you afraid of?"
Chrisel was silent for a moment, his eyes falling on their clasped hands. His fingertips gently stroked the back of Yunwushu's hand: "I'm afraid you don't care about me enough. I always feel that you will abandon me."
Yun Wushu opened his mouth but no words came out.
His gaze swept across Chrisel's deep eyes, which were filled with worry and reluctance, leaving him speechless for a moment.
Look, he really regretted it. He shouldn't have provoked Chriselle, but he was unwilling to do so.
Yun Wushu lowered his eyelids to hide the complex emotions in his eyes.
Chrisel looked at Yunwushu's lowered eyes and felt a pang of sadness in his heart.
He moved closer and whispered, "Shushu, I'm not afraid of being tired, nor am I afraid of what you call 'not being able to hold on'. I'm only afraid that you won't tell me anything, and will just carry it all on your own, or even leave me."
"So, promise me that if you feel uncomfortable again, don't force yourself to do it." Chrisel clenched her hands. "If you dare to do anything wrong, I will be really angry."
Yun Wushu looked at him, a faint smile in his eyes, and nodded in agreement: "Okay, I promise you."
This simple sentence made Chrisel's brow relax slightly. He looked at Yunwushu and reached out to stroke his face. "Take a good rest first. I'll go finish making dumplings. We have to eat the New Year's Eve dinner later."
"Yeah." Yun Wushu leaned on the sofa and watched Chrisel get up and go back to the kitchen, his steady footsteps echoing in his ears.
In the kitchen, others were still busy.
Bai Luoqi was bickering with Xiaojiu. One said that his dumplings were the best looking, while the other insisted that his creative design was better, which made Lottie laugh so hard that she couldn't straighten her back.
Cheng Yubao lost his patience in the end and just threw the thing to Bai Yan.
"Hello, kids." Bai Qinghan arrived late, leading Yuanli and Achen in.
"Happy New Year, Happy New Year, congratulations on your prosperity, congratulations on your prosperity." Xiaonian stood on Bai Qinghan's shoulders, his eyes the size of black beans rolling around.
"Grandfather, grandpa, Luo Qi wishes you good health and all the best in the new year. The sun welcomes the new year, and the snow heralds a new year of wind." Bai Luoqi came up and bowed with both hands. He looked very professional, but his cultural level was a little lacking.
Bai Lishu covered his eyes and silently corrected him, "The rising sun welcomes the new year, and the auspicious snow indicates a good harvest."
"It's okay, here, grandpa will give you a red envelope." Bai Qinghan was amused by him and took out a red envelope and gave it to him.
Of course, everyone here has a share.
"Don't think it's too little, it's for good luck." Bai Qinghan distributed the red envelopes to everyone one by one. The golden cover reflected the light of the warm lamp, making it look particularly festive.
Even Dabai and Xiaojiu had a share.
As he spoke, he touched Xiaonian who was standing on his shoulder and said, "You have one too, take it."
Xiaonian didn't take it immediately. Instead, he jumped twice on his shoulders and shouted excitedly, "Thank you, Qingqing. I wish you a long life and may you become younger and younger as you grow older!"
The red envelope is naturally something it likes. After saying the blessings, it holds the red envelope in its mouth and goes to eat it nearby.
Bai Qinghan laughed and poked its little head. "This little mouth is getting more and more talkative." After that, he looked at everyone and said, "Okay, the red envelopes have been distributed, it's time to prepare for the New Year's Eve dinner."
Everyone responded by standing up and getting busy.
The dining table was spread with delicious food, and the aroma of stewed soup lingered in the air.
"Wow, thanks Grandma Lottie." It's so rich.
Bai Luoqi was like a mouse falling into a rice jar, and he kept shouting excitedly, "Too much, really too much!" As he spoke, he reached out and picked up a chopstick full of braised pork.
"Give it to Grandma Lottie first, thank you for your hard work, and then give it to Grandpa." Bai Luoqi walked from the head of the table to the foot of the table.
As the youngest here, Bai Luoqi naturally cannot leave anyone behind.
The dishes served to them were all their favorites, such as the lighter steamed fish and vermicelli lobster for Bai Qinghan and Cheng Yu.
The boiled beef was spicier for Op and Ace, catering to everyone's taste with ease.
"Thank you, little cutie." Yu Lan took the squid he handed to her.
Chrisel sat next to Yunwushu, looking at the lively scene at the dining table, and couldn't help feeling a sense of satisfaction in her heart.
He picked up the wine glass and gently touched the rim of Yunwushu's glass, with tenderness in his eyes, "Eat more, today is the reunion dinner."
Yun Wushu smiled slightly, raised his glass and clinked it with his, "Hmm."
Slov also did not forget to show his courtesy, serving dishes and tea without any complaints.
It's just a bit of being disliked.
The lively atmosphere at the dinner table became more and more intense. There were many people and a lot of dog food, and they were quite full.
Lu Yuqing finished the meal with a look of wanting to cry but no tears.
Why is he the only one who has no partner?
