Chapter 52 Sweet Orange Juice

Cheng Yu stayed for a long time and missed Bai Yan a little.

The breeze from the lake blew gently, bringing with it the fresh scent of water vapor, which made him feel relaxed, but he always felt like something was missing.

The sunlight shone through the gaps in the leaves onto him, casting a mottled shadow.

"Little ancestor, do you want to go back?" Opp saw him stand up and guessed that he wanted to go back.

Cheng Yu nodded and said, "Look for Yanyan."

Opp smiled slightly. Bai Yan's meeting was indeed a bit longer this time, probably because of tomorrow's Interstellar Alliance.

"Master should be in the study." Opp gently pointed the way for him.

Cheng Yu walked all the way to the study, passed through the familiar corridor, gently pushed open the study door, and poked his head inside.

Bai Yan sat in front of the solid wood desk, his posture upright, his expression focused yet a little lazy.

With his hands resting casually on the table, he observed the progress of the meeting through the holographic image.

He noticed it the moment the door was pushed open. Seeing that it was Cheng Yu, Bai Yan waved and motioned him to sit next to him.

The holographic image simulated a conference room where ten galaxy leaders sat together, arguing fiercely.

For Bai Yan, this scene was like watching a wonderful monkey show. He laughed softly from time to time, with a playful gleam in his eyes.

Cheng Yu sat cross-legged on the sofa, her eyes involuntarily drawn to him.

Feeling that the distance between them was too far, Cheng Yu simply took a cushion and sat in front of Bai Yan, lying on his legs.

Bai Yan was slightly stunned, then he showed a doting smile and his eyes fell softly on Cheng Yu.

Silver hair fell gently, and his fingers gently stroked the top of his head, and the warmth of his fingertips wandered through his hair.

Who would have thought that the great Mr. Bai would slack off in a meeting concerning the development of the galaxy?

The debate in the meeting intensified. An elder slammed the table excitedly, his face flushed, and even pointed in the direction of the other party.

Everyone present has forgotten their original intention of cooperation and is instead tearing each other's faces apart in the struggle for interests.

"If you like to argue so much, go ahead and argue. If there's no result today, I don't think there's any need for me to go to tomorrow's meeting."

Bai Yan had been sitting here listening to them arguing for almost two hours, and not hanging up on the spot was a way for him to give these old guys face.

The cold voice was like a sharp blade, instantly cutting through the restlessness in the air.

His eyes swept across every stiff face in the holographic image, a hint of contempt and intimidation in his eyes, instantly silencing everyone present.

Cheng Yu listened to his words and thought he was angry, so she couldn't help but look up and secretly glance at him.

"Don't worry, I'm not angry." Bai Yan comforted softly, his fingers gently stroking Cheng Yu's hair.

On the other side of the hologram, everyone was confused by Bai Yan's "face change".

During the long silence, several elders exchanged glances cautiously, trying to break the deadlock.

Finally, a cautious figure in power whispered, "Master Bai, you're right. We were indeed lacking composure today."

He is the ruler of the Starkel Galaxy, which is dominated by the star Muqier and surrounded by five major planets and countless asteroid belts.

Bai Yan glanced at him coldly and raised his hand to interrupt his intention to continue explaining.

"Now that you understand, cut the crap and get back to the cooperation agenda."

Ulis had no choice but to sit down in dismay, knowing in his heart that Bai Yan always did things according to his mood, and if he was in a bad mood, no one would try to please him.

Even though he was Chrisel's (see Chapter 10) uncle, Bai Yan didn't take him seriously at all.

Cheng Yu lay there quietly, his heart as calm as the ripples on the lake. He didn't care about these things.

Warm breath sprayed on the skin through the thin cloth.

The alpha on the chair stiffened slightly, and a strange look flashed in his eyes.

"Since you all still have disagreements, let's end today's meeting here. We can discuss this later once you've thought it through."

Bai Yan suddenly said something, pressed his finger lightly on the operation panel, and then cut off the connection.

But when the holographic image disappeared, the ice in his eyes turned into a pool of spring water.

"Cheng Yu." He picked up Cheng Yu by the waist and let him sit on his lap.

"Yanyan..." Cheng Yu called softly, her voice as soft as a dream talk.

He had noticed the change in alpha just now, and it was even more obvious now.

Bai Yan's hand gently lifted Cheng Yu's chin, and his deep gaze locked onto his eyes.

"Cheng Yu..." Bai Yan's voice was low and full of magnetism.

The omega lazily responded, "Yeah."

The document was swept to the ground by a big hand, making a dull sound.

The warm lights are like the rippling surface of a lake. From time to time, figures pass by and intertwine with the shadows on the lake.

The heavy wooden desk in the study was forced to move slightly away from its original position.

Cheng Yu half leaned on the sofa, watching Alpha with satisfaction as he bent down to clean up the mess. He still had to pick up the documents that fell on the ground with his own hands.

After packing up, Bai Yan was too lazy to smooth out the wrinkles on his shirt, so he simply asked Dabai to bring in a new one.

"Are you tired?" She walked over and kissed the corner of his mouth.

It was already dark and dinner time had passed a while ago.

"Hold me~" The pampered Orange opened his arms.

The famous Mr. Bai worked hard at this moment. He bent down, picked up Cheng Yu, and held him firmly in his arms.

Cheng Yu touched the tip of his nose as a reward.

When Lottie saw the two people coming down, she couldn't hide the smile on her face.

"I'll bring the food over right away, please wait a moment, sir."

It's the lemon-fried fish and potato and vegetable rolls that Cheng Yu loves to eat.

Bai Yan was waiting to feed the person. He hadn't eaten enough just now and was just serving the kitten.

"Is it delicious?" Bai Yan asked.

Cheng Yu nodded, licked the lemon juice from the corner of his mouth, and responded in a low voice: "Delicious."

He fed her slowly and leisurely until Cheng Yu dodged the food that was about to reach her mouth.

"Are you full?" Bai Yan's Adam's apple rolled as he stared at him.

Cheng Yu nodded, he was full.

Bai Yan ate the rest of his food, then suddenly picked up Cheng Yu and stood up.

Knowing that he had just sweated a lot and must be feeling uncomfortable, Bai Yan took him to wash up first.

Bai Yan took Cheng Yu to the bathroom, skillfully adjusted the temperature, and let the warm water spray on them.

Gentle and delicate with a hint of urgency.

Bai Yan put a clean bathrobe on Cheng Yu, carried him to the bed, put him down gently, and planned to invade him.

"Hmm," Cheng Yu shook her head, pressing her white and tender feet against the chest that was leaning towards her.

"Cheng Yu, be good..." Bai Yan coaxed softly, with a doting smile on his lips.

He held Cheng Yu's ankle and rubbed it gently, feeling the other's slightly cool skin.
