While in a coma, Li Qingzhu often had a dream.
It's more like a memory than a dream.
A memory that keeps him alive.
Does anyone believe that they can fall in love with someone who has never done anything for them or even said a word?
It's not love at first sight, but the seed of love is buried deep in the heart and grows wildly.
By the time you wait to be discovered, it has already taken root and you can't get rid of it.
At the age of 19, Li Qingzhu is already a recognized genius, having won numerous major awards in biology and graduated with the best grades from Interstellar University.
"Well, Xiaozhu, I forgot to tell you something." Li Shuheng was eating when he suddenly slapped his head.
Li Qingzhu looked up at his unreliable father and felt that something was not good.
"That's right. When your father and I were young, we made a bet with your Uncle Bai, cough cough." Li Shuheng coughed twice and took the opportunity to observe Li Qingzhu's expression.
Safety.
"Then I lost, and I lost you to Uncle Bai as his son-in-law. Do you still remember that kid Bai Qinghan? When you were little, you liked to call him brother. That kid was so handsome. Let me tell you, he seems to have taken over your Uncle Bai's business now."
Li Shuheng became more and more excited as he spoke, and had already forgotten that he was the culprit.
"Really?" Li Qingzhu looked at her unreliable father indifferently.
Li Shuheng touched the tip of his nose guiltily, lowered his head to eat, and almost buried his head in the bowl.
Li Qingzhu ignored him.
So there is such a reason?
*
In the evening, the clouds in the sky were dyed with strong colors, with golden, orange, red, purple and blue intertwined together, like an oil painting, spreading layer by layer on the horizon.
"Boss, something happened!"
Li Qingzhu answered a phone call, picked up her coat and hurried out.
The hovercraft passed through the city, breaking the tranquility of the evening and speeding on the city's high-altitude track.
The sunset glow on the horizon was gradually swallowed up by the neon lights of the city. The prosperous streets were brightly lit and crowded with people, but his goal was to find a corner far away from the hustle and bustle.
Li Qingzhu stopped his motorcycle in a quiet and dim alley. He took out his pistol and walked forward vigilantly.
He walked on the dilapidated tiles in the alley, his steps steady but exceptionally light, the pistol in his hand slightly raised, emitting a cold metallic luster.
It was so quiet that I could only hear my own breathing and footsteps, and the air was filled with a stale, musty smell.
Li Qingzhu frowned and prepared to move forward.
"Don't move!"
A weak and cold voice appeared in his ears, and the cold muzzle of a gun was pressed against his temple.
Li Qingzhu raised her hands, her voice trembling slightly, "I'm not a bad person."
The owner of the voice seemed to have reached his limit, the gun in his hand fell off, and he fell backwards.
Li Qingzhu caught the person with quick eyes and hands, and the person's face appeared in his blue and red eyes.
His shoulder-length blonde hair was scattered, and his black suit jacket was mostly soaked with blood.
His facial features were incredibly delicate, and even though he was as pale as paper, it did not diminish his beauty in the slightest, and even added a sense of broken beauty to him.
Li Qingzhu picked him up horizontally, but there was a hint of heartache and bloodthirstiness in her eyes.
*
The villa is located in a quiet mountain forest. You can vaguely see a neat cobblestone path winding up, leading to an elegant and low-key black gold iron gate.
The fabric of the suit had long been soaked with blood. After tearing the fabric open, two gunshot wounds on the man's lean chest were shocking.
Li Qingzhu skillfully cleaned the wound and injected hemostatic and disinfectant agents. The whole process was fast and precise.
Perhaps it was because he felt the sting, but his brows were tightly furrowed.
Li Qingzhu slowed down her movements and said softly, "It will be over soon, just bear with it."
The wound was bandaged, but the clothes he was wearing...
Brushing the hair off his cheek, Li Qingzhu whispered the man's name softly, her voice low but with a hint of tenderness.
In the dim room, the weak light shone on Bai Qinghan's pale face, but there was a deep sense of fatigue between his brows.
Li Qingzhu boiled some hot water and turned up the temperature in the villa.
He hesitated a bit, but still unbuttoned his trousers, his movements cautious and restrained.
The lining of his suit pants was soaked with blood and was sticky against his skin.
He frowned and carefully cut the cloth, revealing Bai Qinghan's long and strong legs.
"Really..." Li Qingzhu sighed softly, looking at the hideous abrasion on the side of his thigh, wishing he could kill the person who hurt him immediately.
After cleaning the wound, he placed the towel in the basin and wrapped the wound with new gauze.
After doing all this, Li Qingzhu covered Bai Qinghan's trouser legs and put on a pair of soft home pants for him.
Li Qingzhu picked up the basin beside her, stood up and walked towards the bathroom.
The hot water flowed slowly, and white mist filled the air, gradually calming him down.
He leaned against the washstand, his eyes fixed on himself in the mirror, and he touched his burning ears.
A hint of unknown complex emotions emerged in Lan Caihe's eyes.
*
The night was as dark as ink, and the cold wind swept through the mountains and forests, making bursts of low whimpering sounds.
Li Qingzhu stood on the balcony of the villa, holding a cup of cold coffee in her hand.
Li Qingzhu slowly lowered her head, pinched the cup tightly with her fingers, and her palms turned slightly white.
"No one who hurts him will escape."
He raised his head, a cold gleam flashed across his blue eyes, and then he turned and walked towards the door of the room.
He closed the door gently, leaving the room in silence.
