When Bai Qinghan drove back to the manor, the sky had already been dyed orange by the setting sun.
As soon as he stepped into the living room, he saw Li Qingzhu coming downstairs at some point and sitting on the sofa, holding a laptop in his hands and leaning lazily on the cushion. Xiao Ling beside him was carefully organizing the medical box beside him.
Hearing the footsteps, Li Qingzhu raised her head, glanced at him, and smiled slightly: "You're back so soon? The meeting ended earlier than I thought."
Bai Qinghan walked forward, casually placed his coat on the armrest of the sofa, and lowered his head to place a kiss on Li Qingzhu's forehead: "The important things have been dealt with, and the rest will be postponed to tomorrow."

Li Qingzhu leaned on his shoulder and said lazily, "Okay, since you are so attentive, I will accept it reluctantly."
The two of them snuggled in silence for a while, the only sounds in the living room being faint breathing and the ticking of the wall clock.
