Jian Zhizhen lay on the bed, staring blankly at the starry sky lights on the ceiling.
She was sleeping soundly, but Li Nanyan's words upset her and she couldn't fall asleep anymore.
She simply sent Qin Yubai a message: "Bai Bai, are you asleep? I can't sleep."
She sent the message and glanced at the time; it was 2 a.m.
She guessed that Qin Yubai was already asleep, and she was prepared not to receive a response.
Just as she was about to close her eyes and go back to sleep, she suddenly received a reply from Qin Yubai: "I'm coming to find you?"
"good."
Jian Zhizhen immediately got out of bed and secretly slipped out to open the door for Qin Yubai.
A few minutes later, they quietly took the person back to their room.
They used to do this all the time when they were kids, and they still do it with ease now.

Jian Zhizhen sat cross-legged back on her bed, hugging a plush bear in her arms. Qin Yubai sat in the chair opposite her, listening to her explain why she couldn't fall asleep.
It was those words from Li Nanyan.
It made her feel, somewhat weakly, that she should also bear some responsibility for the tragedy of Zhai Qinghe and Li Nanyan.
Qin Yubai listened quietly to her words, thought about it carefully, and comforted her, saying, "Zhai Qinghe cannot be completely considered to have committed suicide due to cyberbullying. She did have other options."

"As for Li Nanyan, he's an adult now. He should pay the price for his mistakes. These prices weren't arranged by you, so you don't need to have any negative feelings about him."
Qin Yubai reached out and gently patted her head, saying softly, "You just have too much empathy. Actually, you did nothing wrong in these two things."
Jian Zhizhen nodded silently.
Qin Yubai is good at comforting people; she can understand and accept every reason he gives.
Chien Chih-chen sighed softly: "This show has made me extremely annoyed by the attention from the outside world. So many voices are really noisy. If everyone says bad things about me, I won't be able to stick to my principles."
Qin Yubai gently cupped her face in his hands and comforted her, "It's okay. Once your brother's matter is cleared up, you can leave the entertainment industry. As long as you believe it's right, that's fine."
Jian Zhizhen listened quietly to what he had to say, then suddenly got off the bed, threw herself into his arms, buried her face in his chest, and murmured, "Thank you, Bai Bai. Every time I feel lost, you are the one who guides me."
Qin Yubai instinctively hugged her, and was about to tell her not to be shy when he suddenly heard her say:
"Bai Bai, I love you so much."
