Qin Yubai: "You're just making empty promises."
Jian Zhizhen's eyes slowly revealed grievance, and her lips pursed slightly: "It's not empty promises, it's true love. How can you doubt me like this..."
Qin Yubai stared quietly at her eyes and brows, then suddenly smiled: "Then kiss me."
Without even thinking, Jian Zhizhen refused: "No."
Qin Yubai: "Didn't you just say you'd listen to me from now on?"

That's what she said, how could anyone actually believe it?
But upon closer reflection, I realized I really do seem like a heartless woman who makes empty promises.
So Jian Zhizhen simply leaned forward and kissed him as usual.
She tried to run away again, but Qin Yubai grabbed her waist, tightened his grip, and gave her no room to retreat. Then he kissed her back hard.
Although he had thought about it many times in his mind, he had no extra experience. He simply followed his instincts to prolong the awkward kiss and, following the ardent desire in his heart, recklessly increased the intensity.
Jian Zhizhen's mind went blank. She was stunned for a moment before she came to her senses. She reached out her hand and weakly pushed him away, but Qin Yubai grabbed it.
She gave up and let him do whatever he wanted.
Gradually, she felt lightheaded. With her eyes half-open and hazy, she looked at him. She saw that Qin Yubai's usual aloof and unapproachable demeanor had vanished, and she saw the hidden desire in his dark eyes.
No wonder he said that love and desire are symbiotic.
So that's really how it is.
I don't know how much time passed.
The two of them parted their lips slightly.
After a few seconds of silent eye contact, Qin Yubai lowered his eyes, seemingly flustered.
He suddenly picked her up and stood up, then put her on a chair and pushed the chair in front of the computer: "See for yourself."
After saying that, Qin Yubai turned around and prepared to leave the study to avoid making her feel shy and embarrassed again.
Jian Zhizhen glanced at the screen, which displayed various materials he had found for her charity event.
But she's not in the mood to watch that kind of thing right now.
She got off the chair, jogged to catch up with Qin Yubai, and stood behind him, calling out, "Bai Bai."
"Hmm?" Qin Yubai turned around, his gaze, filled with intense emotion, falling on her red, glistening lips.
Jian Zhizhen reached out and gently grasped the hem of his clothes.
"Let's kiss a little longer," she whispered, then stood on tiptoe, sought his lips, and kissed him again.
