Chapter 009: A Merit (1/2)

At the Sixth Company Headquarters, Captain Shi was solemnly guaranteeing the patrol captain who had escorted Qiao Zhenggang and Chen Ziqiang back.

"Old Xu, don't worry. Those two guys just ran to the border out of curiosity. They definitely have no intention of treason."

"This matter can be big or small, it must be reported to the regiment headquarters." Captain Xu said firmly.

"No, Old Xu, don't alarm the regiment headquarters for such a small matter." Captain Shi immediately stepped forward and grabbed the man.

"You know, if the regiment knew about this, it would be very complicated to deal with. I have two bottles of good wine. Please set a time and I'll drink with you..."

Captain Shi kept on pestering the patrol captain for a long time, and finally he managed to fix the mess that Qiao Zhenggang and the other two had made.

After sending them away with a smile, he immediately frowned and said, "Go and bring those two troublemakers to me."

After Qiao Zhenggang and Chen Ziqiang came in, they looked at Captain Shi's dark face and couldn't help but think of his nickname "dead bitch".

So not only did I not feel scared, but I even wanted to laugh.

Qiao Zhenggang couldn't hold back and laughed out loud.

"Laughing? Still laughing? Who told you to wander around the border? Do you know you almost got into big trouble?"

The two of them didn't take it seriously. "Didn't you say it was almost there? That's enough. Why do you have to keep nagging?"

"What did you say? You're still not convinced?" Captain Shi was so angry that smoke came out of his nostrils.

Qiao Zhenggang retorted confidently, "That's right. We haven't crossed the border yet. Besides, there's no warning sign there, so how would we know we can't go?"

After hearing this, Captain Shi finally understood that these two guys were not aware of their mistakes at all.

He immediately decided to put the two of them in solitary confinement for reflection, and then organized a struggle session in which all the educated youth in the company would criticize and educate them.

Qiao Zhenggang immediately expressed his dissatisfaction, saying he didn't think there was anything wrong with taking a stroll along the border of his own country.

Captain Shi yelled angrily, "Don't you want to be the captain of your combat reserve team anymore? I can remove you at any time!"

Only then did Qiao Zhenggang shut up in disappointment.

As soon as the two were taken out, they ran into Si Yang at the door who came to report the sheep incident.

Si Yang was brought here by Instructor Xue. Qiao Zhenggang wanted to scold her but he held back.

"Why did this coal thief come to see the company commander?" Chen Ziqiang muttered curiously.

Qiao Zhenggang sneered, "What else can we do? She probably lost the sheep! I don't think we even need to do anything, she can kill herself."

In the office, Captain Shi had just picked up the kettle from the stove and poured a cup of boiling water when he saw Instructor Xue leading Si Yang in.

"Company Commander, Comrade Qin Siyang has important information to report to you."

When Captain Shi heard this, his head started buzzing. He was dealing with a bunch of idiots!

Why do problems keep coming one after another?

Without asking, he could guess what had happened. He didn't rush to speak, but sat back in his chair before looking at Si Yang.

"Tell me? How many are missing?"

Si Yang took two steps forward and gave a standard military salute. "Reporting to the company commander, there should be 82 sheep in the sheepfold, but there are actually 143."

"Hmm..." Captain Shi blew on the scalding hot tea and suddenly reacted.

He immediately stood up, frowned, looked at Si Yang in confusion, and asked, "What did you say? Why did you add all that?"

It is normal to have a few more newborn lambs, but it is incomprehensible that there are dozens of them this time.

Si Yang was also helpless. He had originally planned to keep it for himself, but since he was caught, he had no choice but to tell the truth.

"I was herding sheep when the Angora goats from Country S came running over."

Captain Shi's eyes narrowed slightly. "Are you saying that the extra sheep came from Country S?"

Si Yang immediately started to perform. "Yeah, I don't know why those sheep had to follow my sheep. I was confused at the time."
