The girl has an oval face, almond eyes, and a small cinnabar mole under the end of her eye, which adds a unique coolness to her still young face.
"Did you catch those two spies in the poplar forest?" His tone was unhurried, calm and gentle, with even a hint of appreciation.
Si Yang paused. Why did he ask this?
Upon careful consideration, the most likely possibility is that the two spies confessed in detail how she abused them after being interrogated.
But she was prepared at the time, and she actually wore a mask before beating the man unconscious.
It was to prevent them from confessing her identity, causing people to suspect her identity and disturbing her peaceful herding of sheep.
The two spies revealed the mysterious woman who beat them. Although Pei Tingyu had doubts, he was not sure it was her.
Because the spies' injuries would not allow them to live for too long, they would not have time to identify her figure in person.
So they should have died long ago.
"Of course." Si Yang deliberately showed a smug smile.
"Tell me in detail?" Pei Tingyu suddenly sat down on the stone beside her, his soft tone as if he was coaxing a child.
Si Yang's eyes turned, and he acted as if he was still frightened. "Captain, that day was so horrible. You have no idea how scary it was. If I hadn't been smart, I would have been killed by those two men."
"Get to the point." Pei Tingyu's eyes dimmed.
"The point is, I was lucky. I beat up those two frozen scoundrels with a stick and then tied them up."
"But the most fatal wounds on them are the knife wounds." Pei Tingyu's tone suddenly became cold.
Si Yang's originally vivid expression suddenly froze for a moment. "Is it...is it a knife? I...I forgot, hehe..."
After she finished speaking, she giggled twice, looking like a fool who wanted to steal the credit for someone else's work.
"When you went to the woods, did you encounter anyone suspicious, such as a woman with a wound on her arm?"
Pei Tingyu said this and suddenly grabbed her right arm and pulled her up from the rock.
There was no expression on his face, but his grip was quite strong, causing Si Yang to feel numb from the pain.
Si Yang pretended to be weak and screamed, "Captain, you hurt me." After she said that, she tried to break free from his hand pitifully.
Pei Tingyu slowly relaxed his strength, glanced at her arm with sharp eyes, and when he saw nothing unusual, his face turned cold again.
"Keep your sheep well..."
Si Yang smiled at his departing figure and said, "I promise to complete the mission."
It was not until Pei Tingyu completely disappeared on the hillside that the silly smile on her face suddenly disappeared.
Sure enough, I suspected her. A mysterious person who beat two specially trained spies half to death is indeed suspicious, isn't he?
Obviously, Pei Tingyu's identity is not ordinary, and his purpose for coming to the Sixth Company should not be simple... This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
