Chapter 022 Qiao Zhenggang Got Beaten Again (1/2)

Pei Tingyu walked towards the food area with two lunch boxes, while Bai Tian sat on an empty seat nearby with her shoulders hunched, like a wronged kitten.

Soon, Pei Tingyu prepared the meal and walked back to where Bai Tian was.

He placed one of the lunch boxes in front of her and handed her the chopsticks.

"Eat quickly."

Bai Tian turned her face away angrily and said, "I'm not hungry."

"Are you sure you don't want to eat?" Pei Tingyu's tone was calm but a little cold.

Bai Tian hadn't eaten all day, and this was her first meal of the day.

There was meat and eggs in the lunch box, and the aroma seemed more tempting than ever before.

She swallowed, but still had no intention of picking up her chopsticks. It was obvious that she was still angry about the punishment.

Just waiting for someone to say nice things to coax him.

But Pei Tingyu had no intention of pampering her. He actually reached out and took the lunch box in front of her and closed the lid directly.

"If you don't want to eat, go back and write a self-criticism and give it to me during morning exercises tomorrow."

When Bai Tian heard this, her face suddenly turned red. "I...I won't write it."

"Bai Tian, the Corps is a place where military rules and regulations are followed. You've been educated, so you should know what it means to obey orders. If you want to throw a tantrum, just go home!" Pei Tingyu's tone was cold, and he became more and more impatient as time went on.

Pei Tingyu said so much, but Bai Tian only heard the word "get out".

The grievances that she had been holding in her heart could no longer be controlled and burst out, and she ran out with her hands covering her face.

Pei Tingyu ignored her, took out a cigarette box from his pocket, knocked it, took out a cigarette and lit it, looking particularly evil and unruly.

Si Yang glanced over to watch the fun and was just about to turn back when his gaze met Pei Tingyu's.

The atmosphere in the cafeteria was very low, and at this moment there was an added sense of awkwardness.

She quickly turned her face away, facing him with her back.

"Eat quickly." Si Yang urged Zhang Xiao'e opposite him.

Just as the two of them were busy eating, Pei Tingyu came behind Si Yang.

"Are you and Bai Tian sharing a dormitory?"

"Yes, Captain." The two men stood up immediately.

"Take it to her." Pei Tingyu put the lunch box on the table next to Si Yang.

"Understood, Captain." The two said in unison.

Pei Tingyu did not stop, turned around and walked through the curling smoke rings, leaving behind a scent similar to agarwood.

After Si Yang and Zhang Xiaoe finished their meal, they washed their lunch boxes and returned to the dormitory.

Before I went in, I heard someone comforting Bai Tian from inside.

"Captain Pei still cares about you, but due to the regiment's discipline, if he protects you in public, how can he manage the rest of the company?"

"We grew up eating from the same pot, but he showed me no mercy at all. I will never talk to him again." Bai Tian still felt wronged.

It was not until Si Yang went in that the people who had surrounded Bai Tian to comfort her dispersed.

They watched Si Yang approach, hostility in their eyes.

They always felt that Si Yang was mocking their miserable appearance.

The more she thought about it, the more unwilling she became. Living in the same dormitory, why were she and Zhang Xiao'e the only ones who were not punished?

Si Yang ignored their dissatisfied looks and walked straight over to put the lunch box on Bai Tian's table.

"This is the meal Captain Pei asked me to bring you."

"I don't need your fake kindness." Bai Tian's tone of rejection was a bit sharp.

Si Yang's eyes were filled with disdain. "Don't be so self-indulgent. I'm only responsible for completing the instructions from above. Whether you like to eat or not is none of my business."

Bai Tian's fingernails were almost digging into the flesh of her palms. This Qin Siyang was indeed not a good person.

That night, Si Yang and Zhang Xiao'e slept soundly, but the others were not so comfortable.

The back pain makes it difficult for them to turn over.

What was even worse was that the next day, when the morning exercise whistle blew, their legs were so painful that they could hardly move.

Several delicate female educated youth were crying while putting on their clothes, but no one dared to waste time and they had to grit their teeth and crawl to the training ground on time.
