Chapter 136: Accompanying in the Hospital (1/3)

Si Yang's cheeks flushed with embarrassment when Pei Tingyu called her "wife" in a pitiful voice.

After she put her things away, she turned around and went to the hospital cafeteria to bring him food.

It wasn't dinner time yet, and the cafeteria didn't have much to offer. The food in her space wasn't suitable for a patient, so she served a steamed egg and three or four cabbage and pork dumplings.

This amount of food was naturally not enough for Pei Tingyu to eat, so she let him fill his stomach first, and then she would take out some bones from the space and make him some bone and carrot soup.

There is a small kitchen in the hospital for patients' families to cook their own meals. It has a stove and they just need to bring their own pots and pans.

It just so happened that she had all the kitchen utensils, and she was free in the hospital anyway, so she decided to make hospital meals for Pei Tingyu herself.

He has broken bones. If he doesn't eat something nutritious, how long will it take for him to recover?

After returning to the ward, Si Yang sat beside the bed and fed Pei Tingyu steamed eggs one spoonful at a time.

Pei Tingyu opened his mouth while keeping his eyes on Si Yang's face the whole time.

"What are you looking at me for?"

"You look good."

Si Yang glanced at him and said, "How can someone so smooth-talking be hungry?"

Pei Tingyu silently raised his arm, which could not be bent, as a response to her.

Si Yang stuffed a mouthful of egg into his mouth and suddenly understood, "You don't want her to feed you?"

Pei Tingyu frowned, "You want her to feed me?"

"I don't want to." Si Yang answered without hesitation.

"That's right."

"So if I don't come, are you going to starve to death?"

Pei Tingyu smiled, "Aren't you here?"

Si Yang snorted, "Fool."

"What?"

"But I like..."

The two of them looked away and laughed.

After Pei Tingyu finished eating the steamed egg, Si Yang was about to continue feeding him dumplings, and he asked her if she had eaten anything on the way.

Si Yang ate the dumplings only after he repeatedly emphasized that he had already eaten and was not hungry at all.

Si Yang got up to wash the lunch box and took the opportunity to see where the kitchenette was.

As soon as she left, two nurses came in to check on the ward.

After they checked Pei Tingyu's fixation of the plaster, they turned around and started muttering as soon as they reached the corridor:

"Did you see that lesbian in the blazer just now? She's so beautiful. Her legs are so white and straight, and her blazer is so elegant. It must be a homemade one, right?"

"Let's take some time to make one..."

When Pei Tingyu heard their discussion, he couldn't help but think that the lesbian they were talking about was Si Yang.

Legs? Why hadn't he noticed what she was wearing just now?

After a while, Si Yang came back with a washed lunch box.

Pei Tingyu looked straight at her legs for confirmation... They were indeed white and straight, which made people feel warm.

Coincidentally, she was followed in by the gazes of several gay men passing by in the corridor.

He suddenly woke up, feeling a sense of crisis that his treasure was being coveted by others. He wanted to get up immediately and find a blanket to wrap her tightly.
