Chapter 212: The Out-of-Control Train (3/3)

The number of people on the other side is unknown, and they all have guns. It looks like a tough battle is about to take place.

Si Yang did not withdraw the drone in time, so she flew to the front of the railway tracks to find out what was going on.

Only then did I realize that this railway track had not yet been put into use and had not been connected. Its end was at the edge of a cliff more than 20 kilometers away.

An overpass is being built there. If the train continues to run at this speed, it will crash into the cliff in less than twenty minutes.

Cheng Guoan's expression changed drastically. "We must retake the control room immediately!"

In addition to the clerk and chief of staff, he was also accompanied by more than 20 guards, so he could give it a try.

The VIP carriage they were in was separated from the driver's cab by eight carriages. Those carriages did not carry other passengers, but were instead transporting some precious weapons accessories that Cheng Guoan was going to send to Beijing.

Action must be taken in a hurry or everyone will die.

Ten guards loaded their guns with live ammunition and prepared to rush to the driver's carriage.

"I'll go with them." Si Yang insisted.

"I'm going too." Cheng Guoan took out the pistol he carried with him and said in a firm tone that did not allow for any argument.

"Commander, you can't take the risk!" the chief of staff advised anxiously.

"Sitting here and doing nothing is just waiting to die. I'd rather take the risk than wait to die!" Cheng Guoan has made up his mind.

Si Yang knew that people like him were extremely brave, so she didn't waste time talking and set off quickly.

So, more than 20 people were divided into two teams, one team passed through the front of the carriage, and the other team passed through the top of the carriage.

Si Yang followed Cheng Guoan and others and passed through five carriages smoothly without seeing any enemies.

When we reached the sixth carriage, we were halfway there when we saw clouds of dazzling and pungent yellow smoke coming out of the carriage.

The stuff was so pungent that it was difficult to open one's eyes, let alone breathe.

When the people at the back wanted to turn around and open the door to exit, they found that the door was locked.

Their retreat was cut off?

"Bang bang--" Si Yang fired several shots at the closed car window, and the original thick smoke was quickly sucked away by the airflow.

Only then did everyone get a chance to breathe and escape death.

"Hurry up, there's not much time left." Someone urged from behind.

Cheng Guoqiang was about to move forward, but Si Yang stopped him.

"Wait." She turned around and looked at the guard standing at the back with half his face covered by a hat.

She strode over and pushed open the door to the rear compartment before looking at the man again.

"You were the one who pulled the door just now, and you said it was locked, right?" Si Yang's calm eyes were filled with sharp scrutiny.

"Yes." The guard still kept his head down.

Si Yang's eyes suddenly turned cold, and the black barrel of the gun quickly pointed at the man's head, "Who are you?"

More than a dozen pairs of eyes turned to the guard who was suddenly pointed at by a gun. Everyone realized that an enemy had sneaked into their team... This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
