Chapter 1576 Locked in Advance Again

"What will happen if we don't agree?" Fu Ziyi asked rudely, his phoenix eyes were very handsome, and he just stared at the person opposite him.

The purple-clad youth raised his sword, pointing it at the two of them. "If you don't agree, then we'll all have to send you away together. This is for everyone's benefit, so you should be more magnanimous!"

The purple-clad youth spoke arrogantly and grandly, almost making Fu Ziyi burst out laughing. Baili Xiuwen maintained the same expression throughout, as if the discussion wasn't about him at all.

When Xu Yuehuai arrived, this was the scene that greeted him: a group of at least ten people bullying two seemingly weak teenagers.

She walked to the edge of the crowd, keeping a safe distance from the people in front of her, wanting to listen and see what was happening.

Fu Ziyi's expression gradually changed from nonchalant to sinister. Being stared at by his eyes felt like being stared at by a cold-blooded snake, a predator whose prey was in danger of dying at any moment.

These dozen or so people represented three different factions. Xu Yuehuai remained silent and simply watched.

The purple-clad youth was genuinely startled when he met Fu Ziyi's eyes, but he had to pretend that nothing had happened.

"I think it's better if you guys are eliminated." Upon hearing this, a strong wind suddenly picked up in the open space.

Everyone started looking around, checking for any unusual wind, but they found nothing. The purple-clad youth was startled by the sudden commotion. He glared at Fu Ziyi with a sinister look, "Playing tricks! What good are your little schemes!"

As he spoke, the purple-clad youth glanced around to make sure there was no danger before launching a verbal attack on Fu Ziyi.

Fu Ziyi crossed his arms and looked at them as if they were a group of dying people. Suddenly, he saw a very familiar figure in the crowd. His gaze locked onto Xu Yuehuai and he said to her, "Are you with them too?"

Xu Yuehuai met his gaze, and upon hearing this, she shook her head and said, "No, I was just passing by and saw a lot of people, so I wanted to come and see what was going on."

Hearing this, Fu Zi nodded in satisfaction, "That's good, but Junior Sister Xu, if you're going to watch the show, you should stand a little further away for safety. Otherwise, if you get hurt by accident during the fight, I'll be heartbroken."

Fu Zi also gestured to Xu Yuehuai without any formality.

Xu Yuehuai paused for a moment, then nodded and obediently retreated a long distance.

Seeing how obedient she was, Fu Ziyi smiled with satisfaction.

After Xu Yuehuai left the encirclement, the wind grew stronger and stronger, even blowing the purple-clad youth and the others so hard they staggered.

The purple-clad youth's expression turned hostile. "Fu Ziyi! What have you done! Make this wind stop right now!"

Fu Ziyi and Baili Xiuwen both shrugged and said in unison, "This has nothing to do with us. We didn't even lift a finger."

"You're still lying! If it wasn't the two of you who did it, then why are you the only two who weren't affected!" the purple-clad youth roared.

"I don't know, maybe this is just a safe zone." Fu Ziyi shrugged, looking clueless.

Xu Yuehuai watched from a distance. From her angle, she could tell that it wasn't a strong wind at all, but rather countless ghosts floating in the air, circling around the group of people and occasionally poking at them.

The ghosts were numerous and swirled quickly, soon creating a strong wind.

The elders outside were excited when they saw this scene. Fu Ziyi hadn't really made a move before. Although he had shown his ghost in front of people, he hadn't fought. Most of the time, he used his ghost to do some trivial things for them.

Upon seeing the appearance of the other elders, Elder Zisang swiftly sent a beam of light towards Fu Ziyi, who was still in the secret realm, signifying that Fu Ziyi had also been admitted ahead of schedule.

This happened once, and then again. Everyone had reached their limit. Elder Zhan stood up angrily, pointed at Elder Zisang's nose, and said, "Zisang Yi! You've gone too far! Once is one thing, but what do you mean by locking it in advance twice!"

Zisangyi spread her hands and said, "What are you talking about? Isn't it allowed to lock in beforehand? This is my first time participating in this kind of event. Has this rule been canceled?"

Zi Sangyi's words left no room for rebuttal, as they were indeed something that was permitted to exist.

Elder Zhan was furious and roared, "Don't play dumb with me! You know what I'm talking about! You've locked on twice, how are other sects and forces supposed to choose their geniuses?"

Zi Sangyi looked completely bewildered and said, "I had no idea when I had such authority to stop everyone from choosing anyone."

Elder Zhi knew that Zi Sangyi was certain that no matter what they said, they would still be in the wrong even if the matter continued. His powerful voice reached everyone's ears, "Alright! Elder Zhan, let's leave it at that. Since Elder Zi Sangyi was the one who identified the person first, then the person naturally belongs to him."

Zi Sangyi smiled and looked at Elder Zhi, "Elder Zhi is the most reasonable one."

Although Zisangyi didn't say it explicitly, everyone knew that she was implying something about Elder Zhan. Everyone else adhered to the principle of watching the show and didn't interrupt.

After Zi Sangyi finished speaking, she did not sit down. Instead, she turned around and sent another mark into the secret realm. Meanwhile, Xu Yuehuai, who was watching the show not far away, suddenly had a blue light shining on her body. She was stunned and knew that she had been locked on. There was not much joy on her face.

“There are three locked spots every year, right? Then I’ll use all three of them first. Otherwise, it’s not fun to keep one, lest Elder Zhan scolds me again when I want to use it later.” Zi Sangyi’s words carried a hint of grievance at the end, leaving everyone speechless.

When Elder Zhi and the others saw him choose Xu Yuehuai, their faces showed little emotion. Xu Yuehuai's current performance was only remarkable in sword cultivation. There were many excellent sword cultivators on the second floor, so this was not enough to make them fight for him. However, if they knew that Xu Yuehuai was also an alchemist, they would regret it to the core.

Fu Ziyi showed no surprise at being targeted. He began muttering something, and suddenly, all the tokens on the waists of those people flew to Fu Ziyi's front.

Fu Ziyi grabbed all the tokens in his hand, weighed them in his hand, and said, "You guys are so boring, I'm not playing with you anymore."

After saying that, he crushed all ten or so tokens.

The previously crowded place instantly became spacious.
