Chapter 984 Long Time No See

Meanwhile, the Ghost Doctor had already embarked on his journey back to Dongsang Kingdom, and he was looking forward to the day when he would meet Xu Yuehuai and the others again.

The Ghost Doctor left the capital of the Great Zhou Kingdom and, after several days of travel, finally arrived at a particularly secluded town. Here, the mountains were verdant, the waters clear, and the birds sang sweetly; it seemed isolated from the world, a rare haven of tranquility.

As the Ghost Doctor was immersed in this tranquility, a woman in a pink dress suddenly appeared before him. She had a graceful figure, a beautiful face, and bright eyes that seemed to see right through people's hearts.

When the Ghost Doctor saw her, a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes: "What are you doing here?"

The woman in the pink dress smiled slightly and said softly, "Huo Wu, it's been a long time." Her voice was gentle and sweet, like a spring breeze.

The Ghost Doctor frowned, looking at the woman who had suddenly appeared, his heart filled with doubt.

"What are you doing here?" the Ghost Doctor asked, his tone tinged with wariness.

The woman in the pink dress did not answer his question. Instead, she turned and walked towards a teahouse, saying softly, "Why don't we sit down and talk slowly?"

Helpless, the Ghost Doctor could only follow her into the teahouse. The two sat down at a table, ordered a pot of tea, and began their conversation.

As time passed, the conversation between the Ghost Doctor and the woman in the pink dress in the teahouse deepened.

The woman in the pink dress told him that she had come here in search of a mysterious herb that could cure a rare disease. She had heard that this herb could only be found in this small town, so she had traveled a great distance to get here.

Upon hearing this, the Ghost Doctor's eyes flashed with surprise. He knew of the existence of this herb, but had never heard of anyone being able to find it.

...

Meanwhile, Xu Yuehuai anxiously awaited news in the palace of the Great Zhou Kingdom.

Helplessly, she asked the guard, "Where is the Prince? Why haven't we heard from him for so many days?"

The guard bowed his head and replied, "His Highness may be investigating people from the mysterious organization and it's inconvenient for him to send messages back."

Xu Yuehua nodded, but her heart was filled with unease. She worried about Qi Guze's safety and hoped he would return safely soon. She couldn't help but think of the days she spent with Qi Guze; those sweet and warm memories filled her with endless longing.

She stood by the window, gazing at the bright moon in the night sky, her heart filled with anticipation and prayer. She believed that Qi Guze would return safely, and that they would reunite in this beautiful palace.

Meanwhile, Qi Guze is investigating the mysterious organization and encounters many difficulties and challenges.

But he never gave up, knowing he carried an important mission and responsibility. He believed that as long as he persevered, he would surely find the mastermind behind the mysterious organization and bring peace and tranquility to the country and its people.

In this world full of unknowns and uncertainties, everyone has their own story and mission. They may meet at some point, or they may part ways at some point. But in any case, they will all write their own legendary stories in their own way.

One day, the tranquility of the palace was suddenly broken by a series of hurried footsteps. A guard rushed into Xu Yuehuai's bedroom, clutching a blood-red letter delivered by pigeon.

Xu Yuehuai was sitting by the window, playing with a string of exquisite jade beads in her hand. Her eyes were deep and calm, as if she could see through all the turmoil in the world.

The guard knelt down, presenting the blood-red letter with both hands, his voice trembling slightly: "Your Highness, this is a letter sent by the Prince via carrier pigeon."

Xu Yuehuai frowned slightly. She took the letter and saw that it was stained with blood, and the handwriting was messy and hurried, clearly written in a rush. She recognized the handwriting all too well; it was Qi Guze's own handwriting.

"This is a distress message from Aze! He's in danger at Wutong Mountain!" Xu Yuehuai's voice was filled with disbelief and shock, and a hint of panic flashed in her eyes, but she quickly suppressed it.

Standing to the side, Yan Qing, the loyal guard, also had a furrowed brow. He glanced at Xu Yuehuai and saw that although she appeared calm on the surface, the worry in her eyes was undisguised. Yan Qing's heart sank; he knew that this matter was probably no small thing.

"Your Highness, please don't panic." Yan Qing took a deep breath, trying to make his voice sound calmer. "I'll go investigate and see if this letter is genuine!"

Xu Yuehua nodded, her fingers unconsciously stroking the jade beads, as if this could reassure her a little. Watching Yan Qing's hurried departure, a strong sense of unease welled up within her.

Yan Qing's figure disappeared around the corner of the palace, but soon he returned. In his hand was a special potion, specially made to distinguish genuine letters from fake ones.

He carefully dripped the medicine onto the letter, and the bloodstains gradually disappeared, replaced by a faint golden mark. It was their unique mark; only genuine letters would bear such a mark.

Yan Qing stared at the mark, a flicker of shock in his eyes. He looked up at Xu Yuehuai, his voice trembling slightly: "Your Highness, it's real."

A look of shock flashed across Xu Yuehuai's eyes. She gripped the jade bead tightly in her hand, as if only by doing so could she support herself. A strong sense of worry and fear welled up in her heart. She knew that Qi Guze was in danger at this moment.

"We must send someone to rescue Aze immediately!" Xu Yuehuai's voice was firm and decisive, her eyes flashing with a resolute light.

Yan Qing nodded; he knew that Xu Yuehuai was incredibly strong and decisive at that moment. He gave her a deep look, then turned and left to prepare for the rescue.

The palace's tranquility was broken once again, but this time, it was broken for life and hope.

Xu Yuehuai sat by the window, gazing into the distance, silently praying that Qi Guze would be safe and sound.

In the palace courtyard, Yan Qing's figure moved like the wind, his movements swift and orderly. Soon, a group of guards dressed in black stood in neat rows before him. Their eyes were resolute, as if they would move forward without hesitation no matter what difficulties they faced.

Xu Yuehuai stood on the steps, her gaze fixed on the guards, and said firmly, "You must rescue the Prince!" Although her voice was gentle, the determination and expectation in it were undeniable.

Yan Qing and the guards responded in unison, "Yes!" Their voices were uniform, full of determination and confidence.

Immediately, they turned around and left the palace quickly and orderly, heading towards the perilous Wutong Mountain.

Xu Yuehuai watched their departing figures, a hint of worry flashing in her eyes, but more so trust and expectation.
