Chapter 848 Life-or-Death Battle

Qi Guze risked injury to get close, and in the end, he was stabbed in the chest, but he managed to grab Xu Yuehuai's hand and pull her into his arms.

In this critical moment, Qi Guze pushed Xu Yuehuai behind him, placing her next to the guards behind him.

"Protect her!"

Xu Yuehuai stumbled as she was pushed, and before she could even utter a cry of surprise, Qi Guze had already rushed forward and clashed with Bei Ye again.

The battle intensified, and Qi Guze, despite his injuries, launched repeated attacks on Bei Ye.

The surrounding atmosphere was tense and deadly, with only the two men's heavy breathing and the sound of clashing swords echoing in the air.

Qi Guze's eyes were firm and sharp as he stared intently at his opponent, Bei Ye.

His hand gripped the sword hilt tightly, his knuckles turning slightly white from the force. His face was covered in dust and sweat, which only accentuated his determination and indomitable spirit.

Xu Yuehuai stood to the side, her eyes filled with worry. She watched Qi Guze and Bei Ye clash, and each clash of their swords made her heart race.

Although she knew Qi Guze was powerful, she still couldn't suppress her fear, after all, he was still seriously injured.

Suddenly, Bei Ye launched a fierce attack, his sword pointing directly at Qi Gu Ze.

"Aze! Be careful!" Xu Yuehuai shouted worriedly.

Qi Guze's heart stirred, but Bei Ye's eyes were cold.

Bei Ye's swordsmanship was incredibly sharp, each strike filled with power and fury.

As night falls, the stars twinkle, illuminating the desolate land.

Bei Ye and Qi Guze faced off in this desolate wilderness, their figures intertwined under the starlight, their sword energy crisscrossing.

Bei Ye was tall and imposing, with a determined look in his eyes, his black robes fluttering in the night wind.

His swordsmanship was like a torrent, unstoppable.

However, facing Qi Guze's fierce attack, he gradually found himself at a disadvantage.

Qi Guze had a cold and stern face, piercing eyes, and his swordsmanship was sharp and ruthless.

In each encounter, Bei Ye narrowly blocked Qi Gu Ze's attacks, as if each time was a test of fate.

Finally, Qi Guze found an opening and struck Bei Ye in the shoulder with his sword.

Bei Ye staggered backward, his face pale. A hint of resentment flashed in his eyes, as if questioning why he couldn't control the battle.

His hand gripped the sword hilt tightly, his knuckles white—proof of his inner struggle.

Just as Qi Guze was preparing to launch another attack, the sound of horses' hooves suddenly rang out!

The Moon Guards appeared, like divine soldiers descending from the sky, quickly surrounding Bei Ye and forming a human wall.

Their eyes were resolute, their posture upright; they were clearly well-trained elites. They protected Bei Ye, fending off Qi Gu Ze's attack.

A fierce battle ensued! Under the moonlight, sword energy crisscrossed, each collision sparking a shower of sparks.

Qi Guze's swordsmanship became increasingly ruthless, as if he wanted to slaughter everyone who stood in his way.

However, the Moon Guards did not back down at all. They cooperated well, defended the area layer by layer, and steadily protected Bei Ye.

Standing under the protection of the Moon Guards, Bei Ye's gaze gradually hardened. He stared intently at Qi Guze, as if silently assessing the other's strength.

He cannot lose, and he will never lose.

A flicker of surprise crossed Qi Guze's eyes; he clearly hadn't expected the Moon Guards to appear. His sword swing faltered slightly, a subtle change that Bei Ye keenly noticed.

Bei Ye launched an attack instantly, breaking through the Moon Guard's encirclement and thrusting his sword at Qi Guze.

Qi Guze dodged to the side, then swept his sword horizontally. The two swords clashed again, producing a crisp metallic clang.

This time, Bei Ye did not back down. He followed closely behind Qi Guze and launched attacks continuously.

Their figures moved swiftly under the moonlight, their sword energy as dazzling as shooting stars in the night sky.

The battle reached its climax. Qi Guze's swordsmanship became increasingly ruthless, each swing accompanied by a sharp whistling sound, as if it could split the air in two.

His face was expressionless, only cold and resolute, as if he wanted to hide all his emotions deep inside.

Bei Ye, however, faced the challenge with even greater determination. His eyes gleamed with an indomitable light, as if he wanted to transform all the pressure into motivation.

His movements grew faster and faster, each attack brimming with power and speed, as if he were pushing every skill to its limit. A tacit understanding seemed to have formed between them, neither willing to easily relinquish victory in this battle.

Their figures crisscrossed in the moonlight, their swords flashing, as if painting a beautiful picture. Their breathing was rapid, their clothes soaked with sweat, but not one of them was willing to back down.

Suddenly, Qi Guze swung his sword, the blade flashing like lightning, aiming straight for Bei Ye's throat.

Bei Ye was startled and hurriedly dodged to the side, but it was too late. He felt a cold breath brush against his neck, followed by a sharp pain.

He reached out and touched his palm, only to find it covered in blood.

"Damn it! Kill him for me!" Bei Ye shouted.

The Moon Guards immediately stepped forward and attacked Qi Guze!

Qi Guze didn't pause, and immediately swung his sword again.

This time, Bei Ye didn't dodge, but instead met the attack with all his might. The two swords clashed, producing a crisp metallic clang.

Bei Ye felt his arm was almost numb, but he still persevered.

Suddenly, Qi Guze's guards joined in. They attacked from all sides, each one a seasoned expert.

Bei Ye was unable to resist and could only retreat step by step. His heart was filled with resentment and anger, but he knew that he could no longer withstand Qi Guze's attack.

"Your Majesty, let's go quickly!" the leader of the Moon Guard shouted to Bei Ye.

Bei Ye looked at Qi Guze, his eyes filled with resentment and anger. Helpless, Bei Ye could only turn and leave.

As Bei Ye left, Qi Guze took a step back, but his gaze never left the direction Bei Ye had gone.

Qi Guze ordered his subordinates, "You're left to clean up the battlefield!"

Immediately afterwards, Qi Guze's men surrounded and wiped out the group of Moon Guards!

Xu Yuehuai hurriedly walked to Qi Guze's side: "Your injuries!" Her voice trembled slightly.

Qi Guze said in a deep voice, "It's alright, don't worry about me."

"Your wounds are so serious, let's go back quickly and have Xia Sen treat them!" Xu Yuehuai said anxiously.

Qi Guze smiled and said, "Okay!"

Xu Yuehuai then helped the injured Qi Guze onto his horse, and she took him back to the mansion.

As soon as she entered the mansion, Xu Yuehuai hurriedly called out, "Xia Sen, come here quickly!"

"The prince is injured!"

Upon hearing the noise, Xia Sen immediately came out of the house and was shocked to see Qi Guze bleeding profusely from a chest injury.

He then said, "Sister, quickly help the prince into the house!"

After saying that, Xu Yuehuai and Xia Sen helped Qi Guze into the house.
