The same was true for the others. When everyone started to hate Ying Ziping with a shared hatred, Ying Ziping seemed to sense it. He was guarding the place to see if they would be treated the same as him when they went in. Now that he knew the result, it was not the case. This also shows that the people inside only hated him and the Ying family, not that everyone was bad.
He turned and left without looking back. After leaving, he first went to the inn to pack his things, and then made a quick getaway.
Nangong Yu already disliked him, and if he continued to stay here, he would probably lose his life. He wasn't going to do that; it was a losing proposition! Nangong Yu couldn't help but think to himself. As he was leaving, the shopkeeper saw him rushing off and greeted him, "Young master, where are you rushing off to? Should we leave a message? I can tell them where you went when they come back."
Ying Ziping didn't even turn his head and continued walking forward, as if some raging flood or beast was chasing him. If he still couldn't sense the danger at this point, then all these years of his life would have been wasted.
And what secrets are hidden here? It seems that these secrets are all related to the back mountain? A thought in his mind told him that everything that is happening now is about the back mountain. As long as he goes up the back mountain, everything will be resolved.
The danger of the back mountain is well-known; even the Twin Fiends dare not venture there. What makes him think he can go in? Just because of his passion? That's obviously unrealistic.
After discussing the matter with everyone, Nangong Yu decided to arrest Ying Ziping and interrogate him to find out how to solve the mystery on the mountain. If Ying Ziping told the truth, they might be able to let him off the hook, but if he refused to talk, then they wouldn't be so polite to him.
Ying Ziping was unaware that many people here were already keeping an eye on him.
"I told you long ago that Ying Ziping was untrustworthy, and now you still have to listen to me. Ying Ziping is a scumbag!" Nangong Yu became agitated when he thought of his senior sister still in danger and her life hanging in the balance.
The others remained noncommittal and did not refute Nangong Yu's words. Under normal circumstances, everyone would have said something, but today was different. Today, Ying Ziping deserved to die.
When they went outside to find Ying Ziping, they discovered that he had vanished without a trace.
Nangong Yu slammed her hand on the wall, venting her frustration. "That Ying Ziping! He's run away now, but do you think he can run away forever?!"
Nangong Yu was furious. They returned to the inn, and the innkeeper was startled to see them return so aggressively, with a hint of murderous intent about them. But when he saw that it was them, his heart relaxed. "What happened to you? What went wrong? Do you need my help?"
The boss is a warm-hearted person. He probably only sees a few people each day, so he tries to talk as much as he can while he can, hoping to add some fun to his boring life.
Nangong Yu turned to the boss and asked in a serious tone, "Boss, where is Ying Ziping? Has he returned?"
The boss was taken aback, then pointed outside and said, "He's back. He just rushed back, packed his things, and left. I asked him if he wanted to say anything to you, but he ignored me. He seemed to be in a hurry; he must have something important to take care of."
The boss said with some uncertainty.
Nangong Yu looked at the others, turned around and left in the direction the boss pointed. There was another group of people behind him. The boss recognized the man and felt that he looked somewhat familiar. They had also wanted to stay at his place before, but later they changed their minds for some reason.
This was the first time the boss had seen them since they left.
For a moment, the boss felt a sense of novelty mixed with some indescribable feelings.
"That bastard, he knows he did something wrong, and he ran away so quickly!" Nangong Yu muttered as he walked.
His eyes were filled with rage.
Not long after Ying Ziping left, he felt a dozen people chasing after him. He ran as fast as the wind, without stopping for a moment, glancing back every now and then to make sure they weren't catching up before he felt at ease.
...
"Are you sure this won't be exposed?" an old voice asked. The person was wearing a black cloak, making it impossible to see their appearance.
The other person replied, "Don't worry, I've arranged everything. There's absolutely no chance of it being exposed. This is a done deal!"
"Besides, all those who could go up the back mountain and know those things are already dead. What's there to be afraid of? Those who are dead will never know what secrets are hidden on the back mountain. The only way out is from the back mountain. Once you go up the back mountain, you will die. Tell me, where do you think they have any chance of surviving?" The other person said this with great pride, as if admiring his own beautiful masterpiece.
The man in the black cloak said sternly, "That's none of my business, but this matter absolutely cannot have any accidents. If any accidents occur, you will be held responsible!"
The other man nodded repeatedly, "Don't worry, sir, this second floor will be our domain from now on. I will definitely help the demon race conquer this place!"
The man fawned, but the man in the black cloak showed him no respect, coldly replying, "You're overthinking it. This place will always be mine. As for you, we'll be lucky to get a little soup. Don't even think about things you shouldn't be thinking about, understand?"
Although the man in the black cloak spoke in a rather unpleasant tone, the man was still quite pleased, even wearing a smile on his face. "Don't worry, sir, I know the rules. I overstepped my bounds just now, so please apologize. Please don't be angry."
After the man in the black cloak left, his subordinate stepped forward and asked, somewhat puzzled, "Master, why were you so polite to him? Is he some kind of important person?"
The subordinate looked in the direction the man in the black cloak had left, his eyes filled with confusion and doubt. The man straightened his back, which had been bent over, spat, and said with disdain, "Him? He's just a pawn I used. He's thinking he's so important. He's just delusional!"
