Chapter 1119 Identity Exposed

"Kill! Kill! Kill!"

The group of figures wearing ghost masks began to slowly approach, their footsteps sounding exceptionally clear in the silent night.

Xu Yuehuai took a deep breath, gathering all her strength to prepare for the upcoming battle. She knew that this battle was not only about her personal safety, but also about the fate of the Dongsang Kingdom.

In the tense and fierce battle, Xu Yuehuai displayed astonishing courage and wisdom. She skillfully dodged the enemy's attacks while delivering fatal counterattacks with her longsword.

The sword in his hand was like the brightest star in the night sky, its cool light flashing in the darkness like a bolt of lightning that pierced the silence.

Her eyes were firm and bright, revealing an indomitable fighting spirit. Standing in the center of that light, her figure contrasted sharply with the surrounding darkness, like a female warrior about to go into battle. No matter what difficulties she faced, she would not easily give in.

This person looks familiar...

Just then, she caught a glimpse of a familiar black figure out of the corner of her eye.

That man in black was an important member of the transmigrator organization, and Xu Yuehuai was very familiar with his martial arts style!

How did he end up here?

Are they here to kill me and silence me?

Has the transmigrator organization completely abandoned her?

Every encounter with this man in black was a thrilling battle. Seeing him appear filled Xu Yuehuai with complex emotions, a mixture of anger and disappointment.

She couldn't understand why her former "comrade-in-arms" had now become her enemy.

"It's you!" Xu Yuehuai exclaimed, her voice filled with disbelief.

"Whoosh—!"

The man in black didn't speak, only gave a cold laugh, and swung his long sword at Xu Yuehuai. The sword flashed, like a silver venomous snake, as it attacked Xu Yuehuai.

Xu Yuehuai nimbly dodged the fatal blow.

"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!"

But then, more attacks rained down on her.

The black-clad men's swordsmanship was ruthless and precise, each attack aimed directly at Xu Yuehuai's vital points. Xu Yuehuai could only fight with all her might, engaging in a fierce battle with these assassins.

"Xu Yuehuai, you're dead today!" the man in black sneered, his voice filled with coldness and cruelty.

Xu Yuehuai's heart tightened; she knew she couldn't just sit and wait to die.

Bai Yu, who was fighting other men in black, suddenly froze for a moment. He was almost stabbed in the chest. After dodging the attack, he looked at Xu Yuehuai with a very complicated expression.

Xu Yuehuai took a deep breath, channeled his inner strength to its limit, and swung his sword, colliding with the black-clad man's longsword, producing a deafening roar.

"Ping-pong—!"

Taking advantage of this brief opening, Xu Yuehuai turned and ran towards the other end of the alley.

But the man in black showed no sign of letting her go; he followed closely behind, relentlessly pursuing her.

Xu Yuehuai's heart raced; she knew she had to find a chance to escape as soon as possible.

Just then, a white figure suddenly rushed out from the side and blocked Xu Yuehuai's way.

It's Bai Yu!

He held a long sword, facing the man in black, his eyes flashing with determination.

"Xu Yuehuai, you go first!" Bai shouted, his voice filled with determination and courage.

Xu Yuehuai watched Bai Yu's retreating figure, a warm feeling welling up in her heart.

She knew she couldn't just abandon Bai Yu like that. So, she took a deep breath, turned around, and fought alongside Bai Yu.

“Your Majesty, if you don’t leave, I certainly won’t leave either. As your subject, it is only natural that I must stay and protect you.” But she didn’t realize for a moment that Bai Yu had just called her by her real name.

"Hehehe, none of you are leaving today."

Seeing this, the man in black sneered and swung his sword at the two men.

"You dare to try and kill me? You have some nerve!"

"Fine, I won't leave then. Do you think I'm afraid of you?"

Xu Yuehuai and Bai Yu joined forces to fight, their swordsmanship working in perfect harmony, and for a time they were evenly matched with the man in black.

"Ping ping ping ping!"

"Clang clang clang!"

However, the man in black was highly skilled in martial arts and quickly found a weakness in the two men.

"Go to hell! Hahaha!"

Taking advantage of the moment, he thrust his sword at Xu Yuehuai. Xu Yuehuai was unable to dodge in time and only felt a chill. She looked down and saw that her clothes were already stained with blood.

Xu Yuehuai was filled with despair. She could only watch helplessly as the sharp sword tip hurtled towards her once more. She knew she had no chance of escape.

"I won't let you succeed!"

However, she did not give up the fight, but used all her strength to swing her sword one last time.

Like the cold, merciless fingers of death, it was slowly approaching Xu Yuehuai's chest, as if trying to extinguish the flame of her life.

Xu Yuehuai's heartbeat seemed to freeze in that instant. She felt an unprecedented chill and despair, as if the whole world was collapsing.

At this critical moment, a dazzling white figure flashed through the darkness like lightning and appeared before Xu Yuehuai in an instant.

That was Bai Yu. Without hesitation, he stood in front of Xu Yuehuai and took the fatal sword blow with his own body!

A muffled "pfft!" sounded, as if the air itself had been torn apart.

Blood, like blooming red flowers, instantly stained Bai Yu's snow-white clothes. He clenched his teeth, making no sound, silently enduring this indescribable pain.

Xu Yuehuai exclaimed in surprise and tried to rush forward to help Bai Yu, but it was too late.

Bai Yu's body slowly collapsed as if all his strength had been drained away, but his eyes were filled with determination and reluctance, as if to say, "Xu Yuehuai, you must live on."

"Bai Yu!" Xu Yuehua knelt beside Bai Yu, tears streaming down her face. She never expected that in this critical moment, it would be Bai Yu who stepped forward and saved her life.

"Xu Yuehuai, are you...are you alright?" Bai Yu asked with difficulty, his voice weak and trembling. His face was as pale as paper, but his eyes revealed an indomitable light.

"I'm fine, Bai Yu, why did you do this?" Xu Yuehuai sobbed uncontrollably, holding Bai Yu's hand tightly as if trying to transfer her strength to him.

“Because…because you are the person I love most.” Bai Yu said with a smile, though his smile was full of bitterness and exhaustion. “I can’t just stand by and watch you get hurt.”

"Your Majesty, please forgive us for being late!"

"How dare you injure the King! You're courting death! Kill them!"

"None of you expect to leave here alive today!"

Just then, the palace guards finally arrived at the scene. They immediately engaged in a fierce battle, clashing with the men in black.

Xu Yuehuai looked at the men in black, her anger and hatred burning like a raging fire.
