Yan Zhi watched as Xu Yuehuai accomplished this feat. "Wow, Yuehuai is amazing! What is this thing that can generate such a huge amount of energy?"
Fu Zi couldn't see anything, but he felt warm all over and his injuries weren't as painful as before. He looked up, trying to catch a glimpse of Xu Yuehuai through the tiny ray of light he could see.
Eleven's eyes were bloodshot, his fists clenched so tightly they cracked, and his eyes were filled with rage. He said, "Who exactly are you! You're not allowed to call me Eleven, you're not worthy to call me that!"
"Eleven, stop being so stubborn. Don't do anything you'll regret. Stop now." Xu Yuehuai didn't listen to her advice. She continued to look at Eleven, her voice softening slightly.
Suddenly, Eleven felt immense pain. He gave a bitter laugh. "Why? Why is this happening? You treat them so well, but when have your people, these damned humans, ever shown you any compassion? Back then, when they drove you to the brink of despair, forcing you to sacrifice yourself, why didn't they utter these high-sounding words? Now, it's only because their own interests are threatened, and they feel they're about to die, that they've joined forces to fight against me!"
Eleven waved his hands excitedly in the air. As he looked into those increasingly familiar eyes, heard that tone, and saw that strikingly similar face, tears finally welled up in his eyes and fell. He choked out, "And, sister, I miss you so much. You haven't come back to see me even once in all these years. This time, you've come back because of those humans who betrayed you. Don't I matter to you at all?"
Xu Yuehuai did not answer Eleven. She opened her hands, formed a hand seal, and golden light emanated from her hands, enveloping the entire earth. When the elders of Dragon Roar Valley in the deep mountains saw this phenomenon, they knew that Yan Zhi had succeeded.
This is the first piece of good news in so many days.
"The heavens and the earth are what we have protected all our lives. Eleven, you have lost your memory. When you regain your memory, you will understand why your elder sister is doing what she is doing now." Xu Yuehuai's voice was ethereal.
The spiritual energy in Eleven's body was rapidly dissipating. He looked at his hands in terror, trying to gather his spiritual energy back, but no matter what he did, it was useless. Finally, he felt fear and looked up at Xu Yuehuai, "Sister! You can't do this to me! You can't do this!"
He shook his head in resistance.
"I'm leaving, Eleven. Live well in this place. As long as you have no evil thoughts or murderous intent in your heart, your divine power will reappear." Xu Yuehuai's pupils returned to their normal color, but the next second, her body fell from the sky.
Without hesitation, Shiyi rushed forward and caught her. Although she knew that the person in front of her was not her older sister, she had her older sister's aura on her.
Seeing this, Yan Zhi took a few steps forward, trying to snatch Xu Yuehuai back from his grasp. Yan Zhi stared at him warily, afraid that if he wasn't careful, he would take the person away.
But after Eleven took Xu Yuehuai down from the sky and put her on the ground, he turned around and left. Yan Zhi didn't even have time to say anything. This reversal left her somewhat confused.
...
On the empty land, Xu Yuehuai was surrounded by a vast expanse of white. She spun around twice, trying to reconnect with her own space, only to find that it had been cut off. She looked around blankly and warily.
She had just poured her spiritual energy into the disc and arrived here. She was trapped here and tried to get out, but it was no use. Something soft kept bouncing her back.
After trying twice, she sat on the ground and meditated. She realized that this place was not hostile to her, and her body was even recovering very quickly here. Since that was the case, she might as well make use of this place and try again when her body was fully recovered.
"How is it here? Is it comfortable?" After some time, a gentle voice rang out.
Xu Yuehuai slowly opened her eyes. In front of her was an extremely beautiful woman, stunningly beautiful, so beautiful that one could not look away at a glance. But what truly surprised her was that this woman looked somewhat similar to her. "Have we... met before?"
The woman shook her head and said with a smile, "We don't know each other, but we are destined to meet. You were able to dispel my divine power, giving me the opportunity to come out and talk and get some fresh air. I am very happy, so I helped you solve the difficulties outside. It can be considered a return of favor."
Upon hearing the word "divine power," Xu Yuehuai asked in surprise, "Are you a god?"
"I used to be," the woman smiled faintly. "Now I am nothing but a remnant soul. Fortunately, through you, I am able to say a few words to this world."
Xu Yuehuai looked at the woman, and always had a special feeling in her heart when facing this woman. Suddenly, a dagger appeared in her hand, but the next second, it suddenly appeared in the woman's hand.
The woman looked at the dagger in her hand with some surprise in her eyes, and said with a smile, "You have this too? I haven't seen one in many years, so I'm a little surprised."
The woman's voice was gentle and soothing. Xu Yuehuai looked at the dagger. It was the one Yuan Shui had instructed her to photograph, saying it was something from the ruins and that she should keep it safe. She had obeyed and done so. If the dagger hadn't appeared here today, she would have almost forgotten about its existence.
"I just got it by chance, so what? Is there a problem?" Xu Yuehuai asked, her gaze never leaving the woman's face.
"This thing used to belong to me. It contains divine power. It looks ordinary on the surface, but if it falls into the hands of a destined person and waits for the right opportunity, it might save your life." The woman looked at the dagger with tenderness in her eyes.
Xu Yuehuai asked, "Is this thing of great significance to you?"
"This is from Eleven... my younger brother. He made it for me when he first learned how to forge weapons, hoping that I would never be bullied in the future." When the woman spoke of Eleven, a hint of a smile appeared in her eyes.
Xu Yuehuai made some judgments. She nodded and did not ask any further questions, waiting for the woman to say her final goodbye to her former belongings. Since she had just said that she was now only a wisp of a soul, then her time should not be long.
"Thank you," the woman said. "You should go back now; your friends are very worried about you."
...
Xu Yuehuai opened her eyes. It all seemed like a dream. She looked at the blinding light outside the window and the busy people outside. For a moment, she was in a daze. Was she dreaming or in reality? Why did everything around her seem so familiar, yet so strange?
