Chapter 1134 The White-Clad Master

"They all seem to be specially trained assassins; how could we possibly defeat them?"

Xu Yuehua shouted, "Kill!"

"Kill them—!"

The soldiers could only fight off these suicide soldiers as quickly as possible.

Their swordsmanship was like a raging storm; every time their swords were drawn, it seemed as if they were tearing the sky apart and scattering a shower of blood and gore.

Suddenly, a thunderous shout echoed across the battlefield; it was Xu Yuehuai's furious roar.

She moved with lightning speed, appearing instantly in front of one of the assassins.

The sword flashed, sharp as ice, but the assassin seemed to have been prepared, easily dodging the fatal blow.

"Hey! You managed to dodge one move, but I don't believe you can dodge every single one!"

Xu Yuehuai was not discouraged; instead, it fueled her even stronger fighting spirit. She swung her sword again, each attack more ferocious than the last, each swing of her sword seemingly aimed at tearing her enemy apart.

However, the assassins, like lifeless puppets, resisted her attacks with expressionless faces.

Bai Yu and Xia Sen also joined the battle, fighting alongside Xu Yuehuai against the assassins.

However, the number of assassins seemed endless, pouring out of the darkness in an endless stream, which increased the pressure on the three of them!

"These assassins are too difficult to kill."

"I feel like even ten of us couldn't beat one of them."

"Where were these guys trained?"

"How many of these people are hidden in our Dongsang Kingdom?"

"If they all show up, wouldn't Dong Sang be in trouble..."

The battle raged on for a long time, and the soldiers gradually lost their strength. However, they persisted, knowing that giving up meant defeat.

What's more, Xu Yuehuai, Bai Yu, and Xia Sen were also injured, but they kept going!

Soldiers, how can you retreat at this time?

"Charge! Slaughter them all, leave no one alive!"

"You're just a bunch of assassins? I'll send you to your deaths!"

"Kill them!"

Unfortunately, those assassins were too powerful, and Xu Yuehuai's soldiers were simply no match for them.

As more and more soldiers fell, Xu Yuehuai became somewhat dazed, unsure whether to let them continue fighting.

"Whoosh!"

Just then, a bright light suddenly descended from the sky, illuminating the entire palace.

Xu Yuehuai, Bai Yu, and Xia Sen looked up and saw a figure floating down from the sky and landing in front of them.

She was a woman dressed in white, with delicate features and a determined look in her eyes.

"I'm here to help you," the woman in white said. As soon as she finished speaking, she swung her sword and attacked the assassins. Her swordsmanship was light and swift, each swing easily killing one assassin.

"Pfft—! Who exactly is this person?"

"How did she see through my weakness at a glance?"

"How come we've never seen this person before?"

"Her martial arts skills are probably the best in the world!"

The assassins were completely stunned when they saw the woman in white. They never imagined that they would be like ants in front of her!

"Hahahaha! Now it's your turn to be unable to fight back."

"With this expert here, none of you will leave here alive today."

"Kill! Don't let any of them escape!"

"Die, you suicide squad!"

With the arrival of the woman in white, the battle gradually began to find a glimmer of hope amidst the chaos. A new light of hope ignited in the soldiers' eyes; they gripped their weapons tightly, mustered their courage, and fought back fiercely against the ruthless assassins.

Xu Yuehuai, Bai Yu, and Xia Sen exchanged a glance and tacitly threw themselves into the more intense battle. Despite their doubts, the mysterious woman in white before them was undoubtedly their lifeline at this moment.

"No matter who you are, now that you are fighting alongside us, you are our friend," Bai Yu shouted as he swung his sword.

The woman in white did not respond, but her cold gaze and resolute posture silently conveyed her stance.

After a thrilling battle, the assassins were finally wiped out one by one.

Upon seeing this, Song Luo's face turned deathly pale. She never expected that these three could turn the tables, and that they even had such a powerful ally. She tried to escape, but Bai Yu blocked her way with his sword.

"Trying to escape? Hmph, dream on!" Bai Yu sneered and swung his sword at Song Luo. However, Song Luo dodged the attack like a ghost.

"Whoosh—!"

Just as everyone was surprised, the woman in white made her move, piercing Song Luo's body with a sword.

"You, you..." Song Luo fell to the ground, struggling desperately.

Xu Yuehuai, Bai Yu, and Xia Sen wanted to thank the woman in white, but at that moment, a blinding light suddenly flashed. When they opened their eyes again, the woman in white had vanished without a trace.

"What...what exactly is going on?" Xu Yuehuai asked in astonishment.

"It seems our mysterious helper doesn't want to reveal too much about himself," Bai Yu said thoughtfully.

"No matter what, we should thank her." Xia Sen said, helping the injured Xu Yuehuai to her feet. "Sister, let's go get our injuries treated first."

Xu Yuehua nodded, but was puzzled. This thing should be a flashbang. Who made it?

Who is this woman in white?

But the most important thing now is to deal with the chaos in the palace as soon as possible.

Hearing Bai Yu's order to conduct a full-scale search for the hidden traitors in the palace and capital from behind, Xu Yuehuai finally felt a little relieved.

What Xu Yuehuai didn't know was that after she disappeared, Bai Yu cruelly stabbed Song Luo a few more times.

Song Luo was hacked to pieces...

Inside the palace, Xia Sen carefully bandaged Xu Yuehuai's wounds. Watching Xia Sen's busy figure, Xu Yuehuai felt a surge of warmth in her heart.

"Ah Sen, you've worked hard," Xu Yuehuai said softly.

"Sister, this is what I should do." Xia Sen raised her head.

Xu Yuehua nodded, but her thoughts drifted far away. She thought of Qi Guze, the man who had once fought alongside her, but was now her enemy.

"Sister, what are you thinking about?" Xia Sen couldn't help but ask when he saw Xu Yuehuai remain silent.

Xu Yuehuai sighed and told Xia Sen about how she had almost been killed by Qi Guze last time. Xia Sen frowned upon hearing this.

“I believe my brother-in-law must have his reasons,” Xia Sen said. “Sister, don’t overthink it. Taking good care of your injury is the most important thing.”

Xu Yuehua nodded, but her heart was still unsettled.

"Sister, you should rest well. I'll be leaving now," Xia Sen said. He wanted to give her some peace and quiet.

Xu Yuehua nodded: "You should also take good care of your wounds."

"Sister, don't worry."

Afterwards, Xia Sen left the palace and found another palace to stay in.

Xu Yuehuai lay on the bed with mixed feelings, the image of Qi Guze almost killing her with his sword last time kept replaying in her mind.

Ah Ze, is there really something you're going through?

Why can't we just be honest with her?

When will they finally see each other again?

With many questions in her mind, she slowly closed her heavy eyes...
