Xu Yuehuai and Qi Guze discussed the next steps in treating the King of Mingyue Kingdom's illness.
Just as the two of them were discussing, they suddenly heard a noise outside.
"Is someone here to spy on me?" Xu Yuehuai wondered, listening to the commotion.
Qi Guze raised his hand to signal Xu Yuehuai to quiet down. After the surroundings quieted down, Qi Guze listened carefully to what the sound was.
"It's my men who have come looking for us!"
That was their signal; upon hearing that voice, they recognized each other.
Xu Yuehuai said, "They ran into the Mingyue Kingdom's palace to find you, so they probably have something to say."
Qi Guze said, "Yeah, I think so."
As he spoke, he walked to the window and opened it.
Immediately, a dark figure climbed in through the window.
"Your Highness!" The man bowed to Qi Guze first.
Qi Guze asked, "Is there something you need?"
His guard immediately replied, "Something happened at the Tianxianglou branch. Lu Mu has been taken away by the government officials!"
"What's going on?"
Xu Yuehuai asked with concern.
The guard said, "Today, an old woman brought her deceased son to the Tianxianglou branch to cause trouble."
"Lu Mu found a doctor, who examined the man and found that he had died three days ago. He then tricked the old woman into saying that her son had died yesterday, thus exposing her lie."
"But the old woman refused to admit that she was lying and even tried to cause trouble."
"Lu Mu led his men to the government office, but they were all detained by the government officials and have not returned yet."
Upon hearing this, Qi Guze said to Xu Yuehuai, "Don't worry, I'll go out tomorrow and visit the government office."
Xu Yuehuai said, "Okay!"
They inquired about other matters with the guards. The Tianxianglou branch was doing relatively well, as nothing much was happening there.
After the guards spoke to them, they left the Mingyue Kingdom's palace and returned to the Tianxianglou branch.
Xu Yuehuai and Qi Guze were in the bedroom discussing what to do next.

"Who told you to do this?"
The old woman stopped and was about to speak.
But suddenly, an arrow shot out and pierced the old woman's heart!
The old woman died on the spot!

"Someone is trying to kill me to cover it up!"
"Hurry and save them!"
The onlookers quickly fled, while the county magistrate sent people to check on the old woman's condition.
The old woman was already dead; there was no way to save her.
The magistrate looked apologetically at Qi Guze, "She has been silenced. We'll have to investigate this further."
