"She won! I can't believe she actually survived!"

"Our trip tonight was definitely worthwhile!"
A gasp of astonishment erupted in the arena. People were shocked and filled with admiration as they watched this frail woman defeat such a ferocious beast.
However, Xu Yuehuai showed no sign of pride or relaxation. She simply put away her weapon silently and turned to look at the center of the arena.
The girl's body lay there. Xu Yuehuai knew that this girl had also fought for survival; everyone just wanted to live.
A complex mix of emotions welled up within her, including sadness, regret, and awe for life.
However, Xu Yuehuai understood that this world was cruel and unpredictable, and only by constantly fighting could one survive.
She looked up at the crowd in the stands; their cheers hadn't subsided yet. She listened quietly, then took a deep breath.
"It's over," she said softly, her voice revealing a deep weariness, but even more so, a firmness and confidence.
Xu Yuehuai raised her head, her gaze fixed firmly ahead. She knew that even greater challenges awaited her, but she was mentally prepared. No matter what difficulties she faced, she would bravely meet the challenge until victory.
Amidst the thunderous cheers around him, Xu Yuehuai's ears caught a different sound. It was a cold laugh, sharp and piercing, like a needle stabbing into his ear.
She looked around, trying to pinpoint the source of the sound. Suddenly, her gaze settled on a figure.
The man was burly, with muscles like iron, a resolute face, and a cunning glint in his eyes.
He suddenly leaped down from the high platform and stood in the center of the arena, as if he were the master of the entire arena.
The man gave Xu Yuehuai a meaningful smile, a smile full of mockery and sarcasm.
"Congratulations on winning the final victory!" The man's voice resounded throughout the arena, and every word clearly reached Xu Yuehuai's ears.
"Now that I've won, can I leave?" Xu Yuehuai asked tentatively.
The man shook his head, his smile widening. "You will be our final offering tonight."
"Distinguished guests on stage, you may now name your prices!"
The man's voice was deep and powerful, as if it possessed a kind of magic, sending a chill down Xu Yuehuai's spine.
Xu Yuehuai was shocked; she couldn't believe her ears. She had clearly won the competition, so why had she become their auction item? Her mind was filled with confusion and bewilderment.
At the same time, the atmosphere in the arena changed. The spectators who had been cheering suddenly fell silent, their eyes all focused on Xu Yuehuai.
Xu Yuehuai felt as if his body was being pierced by countless gazes, and an indescribable fear surged in his heart.
Immediately, the onlookers began to bid. Their voices rose and fell, as if they were vying for a rare treasure.
Xu Yuehuai felt as if an invisible hand was squeezing her heart, making it difficult for her to breathe.
"Three thousand gold coins!" a voice rang out. Xu Yuehuai turned his head and saw a fat man with big ears standing up with a smug smile on his face.
"Five thousand gold coins!" someone immediately shouted out an even higher price.

Prices soared, but Xu Yuehuai's heart sank to the bottom. She felt as if she had been swept into an inescapable vortex. Her eyes were filled with despair and helplessness; she knew she had no other choice.
"One hundred thousand gold coins!"
In the end, a fat, big-eared man won the bid for Xu Yuehuai at an exorbitant price. He laughed triumphantly, as if he could already see Xu Yuehuai becoming his plaything.
Xu Yuehuai felt that her world had collapsed. Her eyes were devoid of light, filled only with emptiness and despair.
The entire arena erupted in cheers and applause once again. But Xu Yuehuai felt as if she were in another world; she could neither hear any sound nor see any images.
She had only one thought in her mind: she had completely become a victim of this cruel game!
It seems I've just escaped one wolf's den only to fall into another!
What should we do?
The man gave the fat-faced man a sincere smile, his eyes full of congratulations: "Congratulations on winning tonight's treasure!"
His voice echoed through the noisy arena, attracting the attention of those around him.
Upon hearing this, the fat man with big ears immediately broke into a bright smile. He patted his large belly and laughed heartily, "Hahaha, when can I take her away?" His eyes gleamed with desire and possessiveness for Xu Yuehuai.
The man looked at the fat man with big ears, a sly glint in his eyes. He pointed at Xu Yuehuai in the center of the arena and said with a smile, "Now!"
As he spoke, he walked directly to Xu Yuehuai, grabbed her wrist, and pulled her out of the center of the arena.
Xu Yuehuai stumbled as she was pulled, staring at the man in astonishment, her eyes filled with confusion and bewilderment.
However, the man didn't give her any chance to explain. With a simple leap, he brought Xu Yuehuai to the fat man in the stands.
The fat, big-eared man watched as Xu Yuehuai was brought before him, a smug look of satisfaction flashing in his eyes. He reached out, wanting to stroke Xu Yuehuai's cheek, but Xu Yuehuai avoided his hand, looking at him warily.
The man looked at the fat man with big ears, smiled slightly, took out a bottle of energy-dispersing powder from his pocket, handed it to him and said, "This is a bottle of energy-dispersing powder. If you need it..." Before he could finish speaking, he was interrupted by the fat man with big ears.
The fat, big-eared man waved his hand dismissively and said, "No need, I just like tough opponents!" His eyes gleamed with a desire and excitement for the challenge.
Upon hearing this, Xu Yuehuai felt a glimmer of hope; perhaps she could escape from the clutches of this fat, big-eared man!
The man looked at the fat, big-eared man, a hint of admiration and approval flashing in his eyes. He nodded, then turned to Xu Yuehuai and said, "Let's go."
With that, he led Xu Yuehuai and the fat man away from the arena.
The people around watched this scene and discussed it amongst themselves. Some expressed envy and congratulations to the fat man, while others expressed sympathy and regret for Xu Yuehuai.
However, no matter what they talked about, Xu Yuehuai and the fat man had already left the arena and begun their new journey of destiny.
