Chapter 1160 Off-site Training

Deep in the dense forest, sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows. Xu Yuehuai and Qi Guze, along with Qi Ziang and Tie Chunsheng, stepped into this challenging forest, ready to begin their training journey.

Qi Zi'ang was tall and slender, with a sharp glint in his eyes. He held a nimble short sword, seemingly dancing with the wind. Tie Chunsheng, on the other hand, was strong and muscular, with a heavy iron hammer in his hand, as if he could shake mountains.

The two stood in an open area, their eyes simultaneously fixed on a ferocious beast leisurely foraging in the distance. It was a huge wild boar, with thick skin, protruding tusks, and clearly not an easy opponent.

"Zi'ang, you go first," Qi Guze said in a deep voice, his eyes revealing his trust in him.

Qi Zi'ang nodded, and with a swift movement, he charged towards the wild boar like an arrow released from a bow. He was incredibly fast, arriving beside the boar in the blink of an eye. He swung his short sword, creating a sharp whistling sound.

However, the wild boar was no pushover. It quickly turned around and met Qi Zi'ang's attack with its hard tusks. A clang of metal rang out, and Qi Zi'ang was forced back a few steps, while the wild boar only swayed slightly.

"Such strong defense!" Qi Zi'ang was secretly shocked, but he was not discouraged. Instead, a glint of excitement flashed in his eyes. He adjusted his breathing and charged at the wild boar again.

At this moment, Tie Chunsheng also made his move. Unlike Qi Ziang, he did not attack directly, but instead circled around to the back of the wild boar, preparing to launch a surprise attack.

"Chunsheng, watch out!" Xu Yuehuai suddenly shouted.

It turned out that the wild boar seemed to sense Tie Chunsheng's approach and suddenly turned around, charging towards him. Seeing this, Tie Chunsheng remained calm. He composed himself, raised his iron hammer, and smashed it down hard on the boar's head.

With a deafening roar, the ground trembled. The wild boar was stunned by the blow, but it stubbornly stood up, roaring angrily.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Qi Zi'ang attacked the wild boar again. This time, he no longer pursued speed alone, but perfectly combined speed and power. The short sword pierced the wild boar's body like lightning, and blood gushed out immediately.

Tie Chunsheng was not to be outdone. He raised his hammer again, ready to deliver a fatal blow to the wild boar.

"Roar roar roar!"

However, at that moment, the wild boar suddenly went berserk and charged at Tie Chunsheng. Although Tie Chunsheng was strong, he was still knocked back several steps by the sudden impact.

"Chunsheng, pay attention!" Xu Yuehuai and Qi Guze shouted at the same time, both watching the battle intently.

Tie Chunsheng steadied himself, took a deep breath, and then exerted all his strength, slamming the hammer down hard on the wild boar's head. This time, the wild boar finally couldn't withstand the enormous force and collapsed to the ground, motionless.

"Phew—" Qi Ziang and Tie Chunsheng both breathed a sigh of relief, exchanged a smile, and their eyes were filled with the joy of victory.

"Zi'ang, you're better at speed, while Chunsheng has good strength." Qi Guze walked over, patted the two of them on the shoulder, and said approvingly.

"Father, I understand." Qi Zi'ang nodded, his eyes shining with determination.

"Yes, Grandpa," Tie Chunsheng replied respectfully.

Looking at the two outstanding children, Xu Yuehuai felt a surge of pride. She turned and walked to the side, taking out a barbecue grill and seasonings she had prepared earlier from her backpack.

"Everyone, come and rest for a bit. I'll prepare some barbecue for you," Xu Yuehuai said with a smile.

Upon hearing this, Qi Zi'ang and Tie Chunsheng happily ran over. Xu Yuehuai had already cut the beast's meat into small pieces and was slowly grilling it on the grill.

The fragrant roasted meat sizzled under the flames, making it incredibly tempting.

The four sat around the stream, enjoying this rare moment of tranquility.

The roasted meat looked especially tempting in the firelight, and everyone enjoyed the delicious food while discussing their recent battle experience.

"Zi'ang, you're really fast, I almost didn't even have time to react," Tie Chunsheng said with a smile.

"Not at all, Chunsheng's strength is truly formidable. I could feel the ground shaking when he struck that blow," Qi Ziang replied modestly.

The two praised each other, creating a very harmonious atmosphere. Xu Yuehuai and Qi Guze looked at the two young men with anticipation in their hearts. They knew that both children possessed extraordinary potential, and with proper nurturing, they would surely become powerful figures in the future.

After finishing the barbecue, Qi Guze got busy setting up tents for everyone to rest. Xu Yuehuai wanted to help, but Qi Guze stopped her.

"You stay and keep them company, I'll do the heavy lifting," Qi Guze said with a smile.

Xu Yuehua nodded and sat down to chat with Qi Ziang and Tie Chunsheng.

They talked about their future plans, dreaming of the day they would become strong. In this challenging forest, their hearts were filled with hope and aspirations.

As night falls, the chirping of insects and the sound of the wind in the forest blend together to create a beautiful natural symphony.

After Qi Guze set up the tent, the four of them went inside to rest and recharge for tomorrow's training.

That night, they continued their adventure in their dreams, looking forward to more challenges and opportunities the next day.

The next day, just as dawn broke, the faint morning light shone through the gaps in the tent and fell on Xu Yuehuai's face.

Qi Guze gently rose, his movements slow and careful, afraid of disturbing his sleeping wife beside him. He leaned down and placed a kiss on Xu Yuehuai's forehead, a tender and affectionate kiss filled with deep longing and reluctance for his wife.

Xu Yuehuai slightly opened her eyes and saw Qi Guze's gentle gaze, a warm feeling welling up in her heart.

She smiled gently and said, "There are still many things to do today, so I mustn't oversleep." Her voice revealed firmness and determination, reflecting her sense of responsibility as the matriarch of the family.

After getting ready, the two stepped out of the tent. At this time, Qi Ziang and Tie Chunsheng had also gotten up and were doing their morning exercise outside the tent.

When they saw Xu Yuehuai and Qi Guze, they excitedly ran over and surrounded them, chattering incessantly.

"Mommy, where are we going to play today?" Qi Zi'ang asked curiously, blinking his bright eyes. His eyes were full of curiosity and longing for the unknown world, a natural instinct for every child.

Xu Yuehuai smiled and patted Qi Ziang's head, saying, "Silly child, we're not going there to play around." Her tone was somewhat doting, yet serious. "Today, we're going to hunt ferocious beasts to improve your strength."
