Jiayi squinted his eyes and looked at the ring on Luo Youyou's hand with a smile, but did not go up to take it. He praised it lightly, "Very efficient." He asked the servant to bring a jar full of fresh blood and motioned for Luo Youyou to put the ring in it.
Luo Youyou's eyes gleamed. This was even better. She obediently put the ring into the jar, turned back to her room, and said while yawning, "I want to rest. Don't disturb me."
Jiayi had no doubts, but was immersed in the joy of collecting another holy artifact. He stared at the ring in the jar and responded absentmindedly.
Luo Youyou glanced at Jiayi's back at the corner of the stairs, a sly smile in her eyes, and walked up the stairs with elegant and calm steps, but it was not her own room, but Mu Yaxi's room.
"Come......"
"Shh..." Luo Youyou quickly made a gesture to keep quiet. Seeing her mysterious look, Mu Yaxi shut up obediently and watched her scrawl a line of words on the paper.
She tiptoed and handed her two swords to Luo Youyou and nodded at her.
Suddenly, Luo Youyou disappeared from her sight. Mu Yaxi rubbed her eyes and shook her head helplessly. She was still not used to the sudden disappearance of a living person.
She turned her head to look at the note, and suddenly her eyes blinked. The note suddenly caught fire and turned into a pile of ashes in a few seconds. She smiled triumphantly.
Boom boom boom
"Is Youyou here?" Lang Bai's voice sounded at the door. Since that defeat, Luo Youyou hadn't spoken to him, which made him panic. He finally decided to come find her and found Mu Yaxi's room by following the smell.
Mu Yaxi rolled her eyes. She came really fast and yelled at the door angrily, "Why are you coming to my room instead of her room?"
Lang Bai was stunned. When had he provoked Mu Yaxi? But he still said, "I smell her."
Mu Yaxi suddenly opened the door and said, "You all have dog noses!"
Wolf Bai smiled evilly, "A dog's nose is not as sensitive as ours."
Mu Yaxi rolled her eyes again, but it was just to hide her momentary panic. Lang Bai's smile was so wicked that it captivated everyone. She put her hands on her waist and said like a tomboy, "Youyou went shopping."
"Hmph..." Mu Yaxi realized how lame her excuse was after she finished. Guilty, she glanced out the window. The sky was just beginning to turn pale, and the orange sunlight was slowly breaking through the horizon. Misty vapor danced lightly in the air, enjoying the last bit of coolness before the sun rose.
This time, shopping...
"Oh, all right then. I'll come find her when she comes back." Lang Bai was about to leave when he saw a pile of ashes on the table through the crack in the door, and the smell of burning in the air. Luo Youyou's scent suddenly disappeared from the room. A strange expression appeared on his face, but he turned and walked away without saying anything.
Mu Yaxi opened his mouth wide and looked at Lang Bai's back. Was he fooled like this?
...
Angel Stabbed
Luo Youyou vaguely understood that many things in this world could be controlled by the mind. For example, when she first came in, it was a world of ice and snow. She closed her eyes and imagined a sea of fire. When she opened her eyes again, there was indeed fire everywhere.
She saw Yinfeng's back from afar. He had his back to her, but he couldn't hide his loneliness and desolation.
Yinfeng smelled Luo Youyou's breath, turned his head and looked at her indifferently, then turned his head back, as if he didn't see her coming.
Luo Youyou ran over and slapped Yinfeng on the shoulder. "Hey!"
Yinfeng frowned but still ignored her.
Luo Youyou suddenly felt like a lonely child, staying home alone, throwing tantrums when his family returned, silently protesting that they had left him behind.
Yin Feng noticed the two swords Luo Youyou was carrying and said calmly, "I won't duel with you. If you leave, don't come back."
Luo Youyou twitched her lips. Did she want to come back? This damn place was scorching hot, and every step was piercingly painful. If she were to duel with such pain, her chances of winning would be almost zero.
But she had to leave a way out for herself and those she cared about. She had already made up her mind that if she couldn't win, she would just run away. It would only take a blink of an eye.
"If you run away from the battlefield, you will not be a good owner of the angel thorn." Yinfeng said again.
Luo Youyou's heart skipped a beat. How could he know what she was thinking? But then she thought Yinfeng must be referring to the last time. She chuckled dryly and said, "Uh, that... I was quite busy last time..."
Yinfeng snorted coldly, glanced at her, and showed no intention of moving.
Luo Youyou suddenly seemed to remember something and took out her phone. She sat next to Yinfeng and took a photo. Then she looked at the photo in her hand with satisfaction and exclaimed in amazement, "I wanted to try it originally. It's amazing that I can actually take a photo."
She originally thought that the soul could not be photographed on a mobile phone, but now she saw Yinfeng's tense expression on the phone screen and said, "It would be better if you smiled more."
"What's this?" Yin Feng snatched the phone and was startled when he saw himself appear on the screen. "You locked me up?"
Fifteen hundred years ago, humans had not yet invented mobile phones, and at that time, the Angel Thorn had been in a dark basement until now, so Yinfeng certainly had no idea what the outside world had become like. He only thought that this was a small box that could lock the soul.
Seeing how nervous he was, Luo Youyou decided to tease him and said, "Yeah, this only locks up part of you. I can cut you into thousands of pieces and lock you up bit by bit. Does that count as me winning?"
