Chapter 24 Blood Alliance

"Why don't you take a nap first and I'll keep an eye on you." Han Shuiyan felt a little sorry when she saw that they all had wide eyes and were staring outside vigilantly.

The wolf king also growled a few times. Han Shuiyan said, "Hu Zi will send people to take turns guarding. You should rest for a while. Otherwise, in this state, even if they really come, you won't be able to deal with them."

Han Shuiyan's words made sense. They had been so tense for so long, without a full night's sleep, how could they possibly have the energy to fight? Jing Yan found a relatively clean spot and lay down. "I'm going to sleep for a while."

Luo Youyou and Mu Yaxi squeezed onto a stone bed and fell into a deep sleep. Surprisingly, the night passed peacefully. They slept until dawn. Luo Youyou recovered surprisingly quickly. When she woke up in the morning, she looked as if nothing had happened. The bruises on her legs had all disappeared. However, she had sweated too much in the past two days and felt that her body smelled bad.

Luo Youyou pulled out the needle in her body, and there was still half a box of blood bags left.

Tang Xiu hadn't come that night. Perhaps when he came to his senses, he'd realize they might still be here, and that tonight would be a fierce battle. Mu Yaxi was still asleep. Luo Youyou carefully unwrapped a bandage on her hand, bit her finger, and applied a little to her wound. Miraculously, the wound healed.

But her blood is poisonous, and I have to wait and see Mu Yaxi's reaction, so I dare not use too much.

The saliva of the vampires can heal human wounds, but Jing Yan tried it on Mu Yaxi and it was completely useless. It might be related to Mu Yaxi's supernatural physique. However, he did not expect that Luo Youyou's poisonous blood could become a good medicine for Mu Yaxi.

Mu Yaxi felt itchy on his hand. He opened his eyes and saw Luo Youyou holding his hand and looking at it, thinking seriously.

"What's wrong?" Mu Yaxi sat up and looked at his hands, which were as smooth as before.

"How did you do that?" Mu Yaxi looked at her in surprise.

"Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?" Luo Youyou looked at Mu Yaxi carefully, trying to see if there was anything wrong, but she looked normal, and she felt secretly happy.

Luo Youyou's finger had healed. She removed another bandage, bit her finger again, and smeared the blood on the wound. Mu Yaxi widened her eyes and watched the wound slowly heal. Her mouth opened wide enough to fit an egg.

The two were pleasantly surprised and quickly healed Mu Yaxi's injuries. They then took advantage of daybreak to run to the hot spring that Han Shuiyan mentioned to take a bath. They immediately felt refreshed, and Luo Youyou had recovered as if she had never been sick.

"We can't always hide in the wolf's den." Mu Yaxi said while soaking in the hot spring, leaning his head on a big rock.

Luo Youyou also leaned back lazily. Yes, hiding in the wolf's den all the time was not a solution, but where else could they go? They didn't even know how many people were in the Demon Party. As long as Tang Xiu wanted to find them, they would be found no matter where they hid.

"We can't fight back. We don't even know the opponent's strength." Luo Youyou sighed. After all, the power of three people is too small. If they don't hide, are they going to hit a stone with an egg?

For the first time, Luo Youyou felt hopeless. The world was so big, yet she had no place to call home. She thought about returning to Weiyu Village, but she didn't want to bring her misfortune to that simple mountain village, to her mother.

After taking a shower and returning home, Jing Yan was still asleep. It seemed as if he couldn't adjust to the jet lag and was always drowsy during the day. Luo Youyou and Mu Yaxi were in a good mood. They went to the city to have a meal, took some food away, and went shopping leisurely to buy some clothes before going back.

When they returned to the wolf den with bags full of stuff, Jing Yan looked at them as if he had seen a monster. It was such a critical period, and the two of them still had the mind to go shopping for clothes. Jing Yan didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

After changing into new clothes, Luo Youyou and Mu Yaxi seemed to be in a good mood. They each bought a set of leather vests and hot pants. They looked handsome and capable after putting them on. The most important thing is that they are very suitable for combat. The leather is loose and not easily torn, so they don’t have to worry about whether they will be exposed when their clothes are torn during the battle.

The sky quickly darkened, and as the sun set, several people became more and more nervous, their spirits like a taut string. On the surface, they all seemed relaxed and at ease, but in fact, they were all listening attentively to the movements outside.

"Here it comes!" Luo Youyou said in a low voice.

Although Jing Yan and Mu Yaxi hadn't caught any clues yet, they knew Luo Youyou had already smelled their scent. Mu Yaxi slung the scabbard over his shoulder, holding a silver sword in his hand. Jing Yan held the wooden stake. Luo Youyou stared at the cave entrance, and the Wolf King and his wolves were blocking the entrance...

A fierce battle is about to break out...
