Chapter 48: A near miss

"I'll go first!"

"I'll go first!"

"I knocked her out!"

"I distracted her!"

"I've made a great contribution! I'll go first!"

"You want to steal from me, you bastard? Ask me about my fist first!"

"You want to fight, you bastard?!"

"Hit me if you want!"

The two burly old men started fighting like this. After a while, they were covered in bruises, but they continued to fight fiercely. Both of them were injured, but neither of them was willing to admit defeat. The more they fought, the more jealous they became. They didn't notice that Luo Youyou was sitting cross-legged on the ground, watching the show they put on for her with great interest.

Luo Youyou looked down at her clothes, feeling a little angry and messy, but fortunately she had not been violated. She guessed that these two people were fighting just to snatch her "stolen goods". If they had been more harmonious, she would probably be in great danger now.

The more Luo Youyou thought about it, the more frightened he felt, and the angrier he became. The light in his eyes was full of coldness, like a cold sword, with the tip of the sword pointing directly at the two people fighting in front of him.

As the two men were fighting, they suddenly felt a gloomy chill and terrifying coldness around them. They still kept swinging their fists, but turned their heads at the same time and saw Luo Youyou looking at them with sharp eyes. That look was as terrifying as a Shura from hell. The two men shivered unconsciously.

"What's going on? Didn't you wake up for hours?"

"Yes, that's what the seller said!"

"Didn't he buy a knock-off?"

"Don't worry about that for now, what should we do now?"

"She saw what we looked like!"

"Kill him when you're done!"

Hearing the word "kill", the other man swallowed, his fingers began to tremble, and his legs felt a little weak. Although his companion's suggestion made him a little uneasy, when he looked back at Luo Youyou's eyes, he felt that it was beyond the scope of uneasiness and was simply fear. Why would a girl sit there motionless and terribly calm when she heard that two men were going to kill her?

Luo Youyou stood up, a vague smile full of sarcasm on her lips. Her red lips parted slightly, and the sound of a stream flowing through the cracks in the rocks recurred. It was clean and refreshing, but it also revealed a chilling deterrent power. "Kill me?"

Luo Youyou walked slowly and gracefully like a lotus, with an enchanting and cold light flashing in her eyes, as she approached them step by step. The two grown men swallowed their saliva and were actually forced to start backing away, watching her approach in horror. They were so scared that it seemed as if all the muscles in their bodies were out of control, and only instinct controlled their feet, trying to escape.

A relatively thin man turned around and ran first, but he was too flustered and didn't pay attention to the stone under his feet. He tripped and fell to the ground with a bang. A sharp stone on the ground scratched a deep gash on his leg, and his flesh was turned inside out. Blood gushed out, but he didn't care about that and got up and continued running.

The man who had just said he'd killed her was now so terrified he didn't even have the strength to run. He didn't know why he was afraid, but that fear seemed to come from the depths of his soul. Looking at her eyes, he felt his entire soul tremble. He even doubted whether this person was human. Why could just looking at her bring such a strong sense of fear and oppression?

Luo Youyou sneered. He had just said shamelessly that he wanted to kill her, but now he was scared to death.

There was a gentle breeze, and the cool air brought information to Luo Youyou through the breeze. There were vampires nearby, and they were not underground, but around here, approaching this side at a rapid speed.

Luo Youyou frowned, looking at the bloodstains on the ground. Could it be that the smell of blood attracted them here? Initial judgment showed that there were at least four of them.

She quickly spread her wings, flew off the ground, and landed on the nearest rooftop, looking down with bated breath. Sure enough, within a few seconds of her coming up, four vampires came running over and surrounded the two desperate men.

The two men were still in shock from seeing Luo Youyou's wings. They looked up in amazement at the direction where Luo Youyou disappeared, not noticing any more dangerous existence.

If they fell into Luo Youyou's hands, at most they would be taught a lesson, but if they fell into the hands of the vampires, they would be food on the chopping board. However, the two men were completely scared. The four vampires had a tacit understanding. Two faced one and suddenly showed their sharp fangs. The two men stared at them in horror, their eyes almost popping out, but as soon as they screamed, their throats were strangled. Before they could figure out what was going on, they died.

Suddenly, a strong smell of blood filled the air. Luo Youyou frowned. Although these two people were not good people, she still felt a little sympathy in her heart. This sympathy was fleeting, and she quickly hid her body on the roof, because the four vampires might have discovered something and looked at her in unison.

After waiting for a while, nothing happened. Luo Youyou carefully stuck her head out and saw that the bodies of the two men had disappeared. The community had returned to peace, as if the bloody scene had never happened. Everything had returned to its original state. All that was left was a little bit of mottled bloodstains on the ground. There were not many, and if you didn't look carefully, you might overlook them.

Luo Youyou spread her wings and flew higher, circling over the new district for a while. She didn't smell the scent of blood blades. The sky turned pale, and then she flapped her wings and flew to the suburbs, to Jing Yan's villa.

Jing Yan has returned, and Yuri was the last one to come back, but all three of them were a little depressed. After a whole night of exploration, they did not find any clues. These three places were indeed the gathering places of Lesamba, but there was no trace of Blood Blade.

"Why do we have to save that guy? Can't we just destroy Lesomba's lair? You will get your revenge!" Yuri said impatiently. He was used to being free and could appear wherever he wanted. He had never hidden like a mouse. For him, this was a great shame and humiliation.

"Take down Lesamba?" Jing Yan's tone was icy. "Just you?"

After all, he is a member of the Lesomba tribe. Apart from Tang Xiu, Jing Yan sincerely hopes that the Lesomba tribe will be well and grow stronger. When he heard Yuri say such words, he was furious.

"Just me! What do you think!" Yuri raised his chin arrogantly.

"Stop arguing! Can't you two have a moment of peace and quiet together?!" Luo Youyou interrupted them irritably, "Go to bed! I'll keep looking tomorrow!"
