The day before the official filming of the program "Amazing Furry Friends", Liu Li and several core staff members came to Shen Yi'an's villa to conduct preliminary preparations and communication.

Shen Yi'an greeted them at the door, holding Yun Jin, who had already transformed back into her cat form. Yun Jin's heterochromatic eyes looked at these people warily.

When her gaze fell on Liu Li, she was slightly startled. Although it had been less than a month since their last meeting, Liu Li looked much more haggard, with deeper eye bags and even a few strands of white hair at her temples.

"Teacher Shen, I really didn't expect that we would be working together again so soon," Liu Li forced a professional smile.

Yun Jin felt that the look in that eyes was just like the one she had given Zhang Shuo before—not very friendly.

“Teacher Liu, it’s an honor to work with the production team again,” Shen Yi’an said with a polite smile, stroking Yun Jin’s back. “I’d like to know the specific arrangements for this filming?”

A staff member wearing square glasses stepped forward and handed over the script, explaining, "Here's the thing, Ms. Shen. To make the audience feel more immersed and at ease, according to the schedule, we will install fixed cameras in several main areas of your home—the kitchen, living room, and bedroom—to film you 24 hours a day."

Seeing Shen Yi'an frown slightly, he added, "Don't worry, there are only four of us in charge of filming, so we won't bother you too much. Teacher Liu will be in charge of scheduling, and Teacher Shen and Xiaoyun just need to follow the script."

Seeing that Shen Yi'an was holding her and not looking at the script, Yun Jin lightly jumped down and came to Liu Li's feet, rubbing against her trouser leg.

"Xiaoyun, we're counting on you for our show. Please get us trending a few more times." Liu Li squatted down, her expression softening, and scratched Yun Jin's chin.

Yun Jin made a comfortable snoring sound, but in her heart she was thinking: It would be best if this show didn't trend on any social media. If possible, please let this show flop completely and be quietly shut down.

Shen Yi'an glanced at the script briefly and said, "That's fine, Teacher Liu. Let's go through it in the living room."

After saying that, he picked up Yun Jin with one hand and gestured for them to go in.

Yun Jin quickly scanned the staff members on Shen Yi'an's shoulder. When she didn't see Qin Yi, her anxiety eased a little.

After they were seated in the living room, the staff following the camera gradually entered the kitchen and other areas. Shen Yi'an specifically instructed Yan Fei to follow behind them and keep a close eye on things.

Shen Yi'an's phone buzzed a few times. He swiped it and looked at it. His eyes sharpened. He then placed the phone screen in front of Yun Jin. It was a message from Yun Chen.

"I saw it. Qin Yi is at Ding Zhizi's house now. I'll keep an eye on her here. I'll send you a message if anything happens."

Yun Jin's heavy heart relaxed a little.

Last night, Yun Chen kept a close eye on things. While Liu Li was out of the meeting room, she secretly looked through the list of staff members for the program and found Qin Yi's name on it. Fortunately, she was assigned to Ding Zhizi and Dan Tart's group as a staff member accompanying them.

Yun Jin applauded her sister in her heart. What would she do without Yun Chen?

"Will Xiaoyun still be able to read a mobile phone?" Liu Li smiled as she held the script.

Shen Yi'an calmly put the phone away and patted Yun Jin's head: "Teacher Liu, this is Xiao Yun, it's normal that she can understand it."

Yun Jin lay down, revealing her white belly, and Shen Yi'an's large hand stroked her from top to bottom, causing her fluffy tail to curl up comfortably.

This scene amused the assistant standing nearby, who couldn't help but take out his phone and secretly snap a few photos of Yun Jin.

"Cough!" Liu Li noticed it keenly, nudged him with her elbow, and gave him a warning look. The assistant immediately reacted and awkwardly put his phone away.

Filming is not allowed under these circumstances before the official recording of the program.

Liu Li smiled, picked up the script again, and said, "Teacher Shen, the theme of this episode is the daily life of cute pets, so the focus should be on highlighting that natural, relaxed, and homey feeling."

Then, she began to explain the process: "The flow is basically fixed. Let's start from the kitchen. You prepare breakfast. Here we need to insert an advertisement. Shen Yi'an can take a look."

Yun Jin looked at the canned cat food called "Ya Xu Fresh Meat Cat Food" on the coffee table. The packaging bag was covered with tiny print: "Made with carefully selected goat meat from the Alps, using advanced German technology, to meet the various elements and minerals needed by cats in their daily lives..."

Wow, this is high-end stuff! It reminds Yun Jin of the down jacket made from goose down from the Alps that the salesperson recommended when she was shopping at the mall before.

Shen Yi'an took the canned meat, looked at it, and then nodded.

Liu Li continued, "Then the scene shifts to the living room, where you have some major interactions, and finally to the bedroom, where we film heartwarming scenes of you playing and resting. Teacher Shen, in your interactions with Xiaoyun, the main focus should be on a natural feel..."

As Yun Jin listened, she felt that the current programs were all so hypocritical. The promised daily routines were all pre-arranged, with no part of the program fixed. Even the type of breakfast to make and the ingredients to use for interacting with the cats were all prescribed.

Shen Yi'an listened attentively, and his hands gradually stopped moving. Yun Jin rolled over and squatted down, pricked up her ears, and pretended to be a good cat listening attentively.

But it was obvious that an untrained kitten couldn't memorize such a long string of words. As Liu Li's mouth opened and closed, Yun Jin's ears slowly drooped down. She felt an itch on her head, as if she was growing a second brain.

She patted her head with her paw in distress, but Shen Yi'an actually grabbed her paw, his expression conveying a reliable "Don't worry, just leave it to me" attitude.

Yun Jin applauded Shen Yi'an in her heart. How could she live without such a reliable Shen Yi'an?

Several hours later, Liu Li's instruction ended, and at the same time, the staff who installed the fixed cameras also completed the debugging and concealment work.

After a series of perfunctory farewells, the living room gradually fell silent as the sound of the wind chimes faded.

Yun Jin could tell that after seeing Liu Li and the others off, Shen Yi'an's professional smile immediately disappeared. He leaned back on the sofa, let out a long sigh, and his shoulders relaxed.

"What's wrong? You look tired..." Yun Jin went up to her with some concern when she saw this, but before she could finish speaking...

Shen Yi'an's large hand suddenly covered her face, silencing her.

Shen Yi'an leaned closer to Yun Jin and lowered his voice, saying, "Wait a minute, Yan Fei hasn't left yet!"

Yun Jinxin was startled. She had been so focused on Shen Yi'an that she had forgotten about Yan Fei's presence. She quickly turned her head to look at the room, and thankfully, Yan Fei had not yet come out.

Yun Jin patted her heart; she was still too relaxed.

Yan Fei seemed to be inspecting something in the room, making some rustling sounds.

After a while, Yan Fei came out and said, "I checked, and the cameras are all off now, but we still need to be careful. If there is a camera, we should treat it as if it is on."

"I understand, I'll be careful." Shen Yi'an sat on the sofa and waved his hand.

Yan Fei nodded, glanced at Yun Jin again, said nothing more, and turned to leave.

Only Shen Yi'an and Yun Jin remained in the villa.

"Now, may I speak?" Yun Jin asked cautiously, the closed camera adding to the oppressive atmosphere.

"It's nothing. What were you trying to say?" Shen Yi'an's eyes softened as he reached out and patted her head.

Yun Jin ran a few steps, lay down on his lap, tilted her head back, blinked her big, round eyes, and asked earnestly, "Shen Yi'an... are you very tired?"

Considering Shen Yi'an's previous state and Yan Fei's attitude, Yun Jin felt that he was hiding something from her.

Shen Yi'an tilted his head and looked at Yun Jin, smiling gently as he squeezed her hand with his long, slender hand: "It's normal to be tired. Having to keep smiling and deal with people you dislike is really exhausting! Yun Jin, don't you think so?"

"Alright." Yun Jin pulled her hand back and tucked it under her body.

Shen Yi'an reached out and scratched Yun Jin's chin, saying, "Hey, Yun Jin, do you want to change back and rest for a while?"

"No need, I'd rather keep this cat form." Yun Jin shook her head, her ears twitching as she did so.

Yun Jin looked at the "Ya Xu Fresh Meat Cat Food Canned Food" on the coffee table, scratched at it a few times with her paws, and asked, "Is this ingredient really imported high-end foreign goods?"

“I don’t know. Ya Xu is a new sponsor that the production team brought in. We don’t know anything about him,” Shen Yi’an said, opening a can and smelling it. “Yun Jin, smell it.”

Yun Jin jogged a few steps, moved closer, and sniffed carefully: "I can't smell it either; there are a lot of additives in it."

"Just to be on the safe side, I'll pour less during tomorrow's filming, you just need to pretend," Shen Yi'an said.

"No problem, trust my acting skills." Yun Jin straightened her chest, her face full of confidence.

Shen Yi'an pulled Yun Jin into his arms and kissed her head: "Yun Jin, it's okay. No matter what happens, I'm here."

Yun Jin looked up and kissed Shen Yi'an on the cheek: "I'm not afraid."

——

On the day of filming "The Amazing Furry Friends", the villa was already brightly lit when it was still barely dawn.

Shen Yi'an needed to get up early to prepare for makeup. The sounds of makeup artists, stylists and other staff coming and going, moving equipment, and chatting were all mixed together.

Yun Jin was sleeping soundly, but these noises clearly indicated that she was not going to continue sleeping.

"Meow..." Yun Jin got out of bed, stretched, and with a not-so-elegant gait, jumped onto the sofa, watching the busy people.

The bright morning sunlight streamed into the bright, open kitchen, making the marble countertop reflect light. Various tableware were placed to one side, but Yun Jin felt that the arrangement was not as natural as the program team had emphasized.

The soft beeping made Yun Jin unconsciously look up, where a camera with a flashing red light indicated that it was recording.

For Yun Jin, this scene was somewhat familiar. She used to often film videos in this way in her rented room, and she still does now, only with Shen Yi'an by her side.
