"Oh, right, could you get me a thermometer?" Yun Jin said warmly, without even looking up.

“Okay, I’ll go get it.” Shen Yi’an’s tone was gentle, and he agreed almost without thinking.

After saying that, he encountered a problem: the thermometer was in his bedside table, but now he was sitting on the sofa in the living room. To make matters worse, Yun Jin clearly had no intention of getting off him, and her fluffy tail had also tucked up.

He couldn't just walk over there, could he? If he put Yun Jin down... no, that wouldn't do. This kind of situation wasn't something that could happen all the time. Shen Yi'an looked at Yun Jin in his arms and sighed.

Therefore, Shen Yi'an chose the most difficult way to kill two birds with one stone. He carefully adjusted his arm so that Yun Jin could sleep comfortably while he could move slowly.

These movements require strong core strength, but he, a fitness enthusiast, could handle them. He slowly moved off the sofa and then gradually moved towards the room.

At this moment, Yun Jin, nestled in his arms, curled up her lips and even the tip of her tail twitched up.

Shen Yi'an is so cute.

Yun Jin nestled comfortably in his arms. She could feel Shen Yi'an's muscles tense slightly from exertion, and hear his heavy breathing in her ear.

There was still some distance between the living room and the bedroom, which was probably one of the downsides of having such a large house. It took Shen Yi'an quite a while to finally find his room.

After a series of hushed rummaging through drawers, a cold, stick-like object poked Yun Jin's fluffy little head. Yun Jin opened her eyes and saw it was Shen Yi'an's large hand.

"Yun Jin, change back quickly, it's time to take your temperature."

"Can't we just keep measuring like this? I don't want to turn back." Yun Jin rolled over, revealing her snow-white belly. It wasn't because she was lazy; she simply didn't have the strength right now, and maintaining the cat-like form was more comfortable for her.

"Alright then, let me see how to take a cat's temperature." Shen Yi'an smiled helplessly, stroking Yun Jin's stomach while searching on his phone.

Yun Jin could see Shen Yi'an's slender and fair fingers rapidly tapping on the phone, making a rhythmic "tap tap tap" sound.

"Shen Yi'an's hands are so beautiful," Yun Jin thought silently. After looking away, Yun Jin noticed that his other hand was touching her stomach. For some reason, Yun Jin started to have all sorts of wild thoughts.

His nails were trimmed neatly and cleanly. If these hands… Yun Jin was halfway through her thought when she quickly shook her head, stopping her wandering thoughts.

"First, interact with the cat and soothe it. Then, restrain the cat, leaving its tail exposed. Apply a small amount of petroleum jelly or baby oil to the thermometer..."

Um

Yun Jin pricked up her ears, a sense of foreboding creeping over her.

Shen Yi'an paused abruptly, then lowered his head in shock: "No, Yun Jin, the thermometer needs to be inserted into your... "

Before he could finish speaking, Yun Jin did a quick somersault and instantly transformed back into her original form: "Give me the thermometer."

After placing the thermometer, Yun Jin lay on her back on the bed, while Shen Yi'an sat beside her, timing the temperature. It took time to measure body temperature, and Yun Jin and Shen Yi'an just stared at each other blankly.

After a while, Shen Yi'an touched Yun Jin's forehead with the back of his hand, compared it with his own body temperature, and frowned in confusion.

"It's not very hot, which is strange," he muttered to himself, his fingertips inadvertently brushing against Yun Jin's cheek, and Yun Jin immediately slapped his hand away.

Why are you getting so close? A blush crept onto Yun Jin's ears, and she felt a sudden pang of guilt and panic.

"Yun Jin, why is your face a little red?" Shen Yi'an reached out his hand again.

Yun Jin swallowed hard, then roughly slapped his hand away and abruptly changed the subject: "Is it time?"

"That's about it." Although Shen Yi'an was a little confused, he still obediently looked down at his phone.

Yun Jin pulled out the thermometer, held it up to her eyes, and said in the natural light, "Let me see, 36.8 degrees Celsius. No fever, everything's fine."

Shen Yi'an still seemed a little uneasy. He took the thermometer from her hand and looked at it carefully several times before confirming that the reading was correct.

"It's nothing, I just need some rest," Yun Jin turned back into a calico cat, curling up into a ball of fur. "I probably didn't sleep well last night."

“We really can’t go to the hospital,” Shen Yi’an lay down and tugged at Yun Jin with his hands.

"Of course not, Shen Yi'an. You don't want the words 'Yun Jin is a cat demon' to be trending on social media, do you?" Yun Jin swatted Shen Yi'an's hand away with her paw. "Don't touch me. Let me sleep for a while."

Shen Yi'an sighed: "Alright."

The sky outside the window gradually darkened, and dark clouds slowly gathered, as if it were about to rain. A cool breeze blew by, rustling the leaves, and through the window opening, Yun Jin felt a chill.

Yun Jin lay there for a while, feeling increasingly cold. She secretly opened one eye and glanced at Shen Yi'an, who was looking at his phone.

She felt a little cold and wanted to move closer, but she was too embarrassed to say "I'm cold" directly. If she did, Shen Yi'an would nag her to go to the hospital.

After struggling for a while, the chill ultimately prevailed over my will.

"Ahem," Yun Jin cleared her throat and said in a matter-of-fact tone, "Shen Yi'an, hold me."

"What's wrong?" Shen Yi'an was taken aback by these words. He quickly put down his phone, leaned closer to Yun Jin, and asked with concern mixed with some doubt.

"It's nothing, if you don't want to, then forget it." Yun Jin chose to activate her skill—playing hard to get—so she pretended to get up and leave.

Shen Yi'an smiled helplessly and replied very obediently, "Of course I'm willing, Yun Jin."

After saying that, he reached out and grabbed Yun Jin by the back of her neck, pulling her back steadily.

Yun Jin's body immediately stiffened, and her claws curled up. She didn't really like the feeling of being lifted up.

Shen Yi'an placed her directly in the crook of his arm, allowing her to nestle comfortably, while gently stroking Yun Jin's back with his other hand.

Now that it was warm, Shen Yi'an's body temperature wafted through the thin clothes, and the comfortable caresses made Yun Jin feel an urge to knead his breasts.

She thought for a moment, then realized that right next to her was Shen Yi'an's muscular chest. Her human reason kicked in, and she thought, "No, that's not right. It would damage Yun Jin's character."

However, while humans need to maintain some restraint, cats can indulge themselves a little.

Then, Yun Jin's furry paws began to stomp on Shen Yi'an's chest, one step at a time. She squinted her eyes and made satisfied purring sounds in her throat.

Hehehe, when we took the photos before, Yun Jin could still lie stiffly. Time flies! Now Yun Jin can already quack.

"Hmm..."

All that could be heard was a suppressed groan from Shen Yi'an, then he abruptly closed his eyes, bit his lower lip tightly, and furrowed his brows.

Yun Jin could feel the body beneath her claws tremble slightly, as if it were trying to suppress something.

See, this kid must have had a good time. Thinking of this, Yun Jin's guilt subsided, and she unconsciously increased the force of her kneading, her little paws kicking even harder.

"Ouch—Yun Jin, it hurts so much," Shen Yi'an said, his voice trembling and even a little teary-eyed as he lowered his head. "Your claws... are a bit sharp."

He pulled down his collar slightly, revealing what appeared to be a few faint red marks on his exposed skin.

So what you just experienced wasn't pleasurable, but painful?

"I'm sorry." Yun Jin withdrew her hand as if burned, her ears drooping, and she suddenly wilted. "I just wanted to..."

She forgot to retract her nails, and had even increased the pressure just now—a truly disastrous scene—and she was still fantasizing…

Shen Yi'an looked at the once enthusiastic and proud little cat, now a dejected one, and patted Yun Jin's head.

"It's okay, you can just pull your nails back." Shen Yi'an grabbed her hand and squeezed it. "Do you want me to trim your nails for you?"

"No need." Yun Jin practically leaped out of Shen Yi'an's arms and ran away without looking back.

Before Shen Yi'an could finish speaking, Yun Jin had already returned to her room and slammed the door shut.

Inside the door, Yun Jin leaned against the door panel, her heart pounding. What was going on?

Shen Yi'an, standing outside the door, suddenly felt empty in his arms. He was stunned for a few seconds before finally letting out a soft laugh and shaking his head helplessly.

The night passed peacefully, without incident; that's how it ended.

But only Yun Jin knew how much psychological trauma these events had left on her, making her wish she could disappear into her bed.

So, the next morning, just as dawn was breaking, Yun Jin quietly got up.

Afterwards, Yun Jin left a text message for Shen Yi'an and went out. The message was very simple: "I'm going out to pick up a few packages for Yun Chen and go home for a bit."

As for why she left so stealthily, it was because Yun Jin felt that yesterday's events were still too embarrassing, so embarrassing that she wanted to just disappear. Taking this opportunity, she thought it would be better to hide at home for a while.

The cool morning air on her face helped Yun Jin calm down a little.

Yun Jin arrived at the relatively secluded back door of the villa, first transforming back into a calico cat, and silently walked a distance, completely leaving the area where paparazzi might be lying in wait.

After confirming that it was safe around her, she transformed back into her original form in a secluded corner and breathed a sigh of relief.

Back in her familiar neighborhood, the morning air was filled with the aroma of breakfast. Yun Jin decided to find a stall to have breakfast and soothe her empty stomach and awkward heart.

She was walking along a familiar street when, as she passed an inconspicuous alley, she suddenly heard a piercing, clanging sound coming from inside, as if something was struggling.

To be honest, Yun Jin was still quite afraid of this alley. It had been the site of some notorious incidents. Just as Yun Jin was about to leave quickly, a mournful bark rang out, and Yun Jin frowned and stopped.
