Xiang Nanzhi placed her phone in her hand, saying, "Your phone is in Jiang Yuxin's hands. She wants to trick you into going into the woods."

The music started playing soon after. Cao Mingyuan led the way, with Xiang Nanzhi and Jiang Yao following behind. When they arrived, they encountered the security guards from the wedding venue.
"There was a power outage just now. Could you tell me why?"
Xiang Nan asked a question, and the security guard picked up the plug and plugged it back in. "Someone unplugged it, so the power was cut off."
"Who did this?"
"We are still investigating."
"Please return to the venue for the wedding; the power is back on."

Knowing that Jiang Yao had reacted quickly and hadn't entered the woods, Xiang Ciyuan was genuinely impressed with her. "Shen Shixun, are you alright?"

Xiang Ciyuan reached out and ripped off the beard from Jiang Yao's face, saying, "You're dressed like neither a human nor a ghost."

He didn't turn around. Jiang Yao followed for a few more steps. Cao Mingyuan frowned. "Miss Jiang, please wait."
If it weren't for her, would Mr. Xiang have been bitten by a snake?
In the infirmary, Xiang Ciyuan stared at the two small holes on his leg, watching the doctor treat his wounds.
I never expected that such a small snake could cause such a large amount of bleeding from a bite wound.
