He grew up on the grassland. Children on the grassland don't have as many toys as children in the city, and their attention isn't distracted by many new things. They are mostly in contact with nature, cattle, sheep, grassland, and stones.
When he was a child, Shen Shixun loved playing with stones. He would scoop stones out of the river and smash them with a hammer. Sometimes, when he had nothing to do, he would sit by the river all day, taking a hammer and smashing stones until they were powdered, then putting them into the river to drift away with the current.
After touching and looking at many things, he could roughly tell what the inside looked like just by looking at the outside.
Xiang Nanzhi chose a place to have breakfast and sat with the man in a high-end restaurant. Shen Shixun, dressed in a suit, sat opposite her. He ate a few bites and threw down his spoon, saying, "I'm not eating anymore. I'm going to work."
"You've only eaten a few bites."
"I'm not full, I'm going out to buy some steamed buns."
The man patted her head, somewhat worried, "Have someone from the Xiang family pick you up and take you home. I'll come find you later."
"Come stay at my place tonight."
"no."
She held the man's hand, "That's not fair. You spend one night there, and I spend one night at my place. We take turns."
"Xiang Nanzhi... are you kidding me?"
"It's settled then. You can go now."
Even though he said that, Shen Shixun was still worried about leaving. He bought a breakfast he liked near the restaurant and waited for her outside.
When Xiang Nanzhi came out after breakfast, she saw him and thought there was something wrong with her eyes. "Shen Shixun, didn't you leave?"
"I'm worried, get in the car."
He wouldn't feel at ease unless he personally escorted his woman back.
