Chapter 21: One or Two Bites
Tian Sheng was a despicable villain who went back on his word. Geng Hao didn't believe a single word of his promises.
"Pooh!"
Geng Hao spat bloody saliva on Tian Sheng's face and grinned, revealing his bloody teeth. "Kill your Grandpa Geng if you dare."
Tian Sheng's face turned pale. "Drag him out, chop him up and feed him to the dogs!"
Yang Rang hurried forward to drag the man away, whispering, "It's rare for your Excellency to show mercy. Why would you risk your life for Niu Baoqing?"
"Bah! You're not a good person either!" Geng Hao spat at whoever he saw. He was going to die anyway, so he disgusted everyone he met.
Yang Rang dodged with a sullen face and dragged Geng Hao out by his hair.
"Let me go!" Geng Hao struggled hard.
He had just been severely beaten, and many of his bones were broken. Every time he moved, he felt excruciating pain.
He was unwilling to endure it, and his cries of pain became louder and louder, mixed with curses against Tian Sheng and Yang Rang's ancestors, which were extremely dirty.
Yang Rang was so angry that he punched him in the mouth, and two teeth fell out with blood. Only then did Geng Hao have no choice but to calm down.
He prayed secretly, Niu Baoqing, you kid must hide well and don't come out.
After dragging them all the way to the kennel, Yang Rang ordered in a deep voice, "Bring the two caged ones over here."
The servants serving in the kennel all changed their expressions.
The two dogs had bitten the young master's favorite ball and were punished by the adults by not being allowed to eat for three days. They were so hungry that their saliva was dripping and their eyes were green. They even bit two cages.

Geng Hao's scalp was ripped off by Yang Rang. He turned over with difficulty and grinned provocatively, "Yang Rang, kill me if you have the guts."
"Are you scared?" Yang Rang sneered, undeterred, "If you're scared, tell me where Niu Baoqing is, and I'll kill you."
Geng Hao shut his mouth tightly. When he thought about being eaten by dogs while he was still alive, his hands and feet began to tremble. He cursed himself for being obsessed with money, and also cursed Shang Wan who had disappeared somewhere.
The dog cage was pushed over, and the two dogs were so hungry that their eyes were green and their wild nature was revealed.
Yang Rang squatted down and forcefully turned Geng Hao's evasive head towards the dog cage. "See? In their eyes, you're just a piece of fresh meat."
Geng Hao closed his eyes after just one look, and even his lips began to tremble.
Yang Rang forcefully pried open his eyelids. "Look at their teeth! They can chew even bones with one bite. Geng Hao, can you handle this?"
"Don't forget, you captured Niu Baoqing's family and forced them to help you. You are an accomplice, and you also played a role in the death of Niu's family. He must hate you to the core. Do you want to die for someone who hates you to the core?"
"You risked your life to protect him, but don't think he'll be grateful to you. He might be secretly happy about it. If I were Niu Baoqing, I'd wish you dead!"
"Shut up!" Geng Hao's eyes were bloodshot, and he was torn between his conscience and his desires, wavering wildly.
Yang Rang released his hand and patted his head again and again. "You two are enemies. Why do you have to go against me for an enemy? Tell me, and I will plead with you to spare your life."
Geng Hao was silent for a moment, then stared at him and said, "I want my life, and I want the money, one thousand taels, not a cent less."
"Okay." Yang Rang nodded simply, with a strange light in his eyes.
"I'm in so much pain, and I'm exhausted from talking loudly." Geng Hao panted heavily, looking exhausted. "Come closer, and I'll tell you."
Most of Geng Hao's injuries were caused by Yang Rang. He did not suspect anything and put his ear closer.
"Niu Baoqing is here..." Geng Hao's voice became smaller and smaller. In order to hear clearly, Yang Rang had to move closer and closer until he felt a sharp pain in his ears.
"ah!"
"Bah!" Geng Hao spat out the small piece of ear meat in his mouth. "Grandpa won't fall for your trick a second time!"
Blood flowed down his cheek, and half of Yang Rang's face was twitching in pain. He roared in frustration, "Release the dog! Bite him to death!"
The servant stepped forward and pulled out the latch on the dog cage door, and everyone hurried out of the yard and closed the door.
Yang Rang stood on the wall, looking at Geng Hao in the yard with a fierce look.
Only by seeing Geng Hao's torn body to pieces with his own eyes can he get rid of his hatred for his broken ear!
The hungry dog pushed open the cage door and came out, saliva dripping from the corners of its mouth, its animal eyes locked on the only living thing in the yard, and it approached step by step.
Geng Hao dragged his body with difficulty, cursing as he moved backwards. His heart was beating so fast that it seemed to jump out of his chest, and he gradually became unable to breathe.
Geng Hao tried his best to avoid the pounce, but before he could even catch his breath, another hound pounced on him.
Geng Hao really didn't have the energy to hide anymore. He stared with his eyes wide open, watching the hungry dog's fangs getting closer and closer...
My life is over!
“Woo!”
The expected pain did not come. Geng Hao opened his eyes quickly, and the moment he saw Shang Wan's back, tears streamed down his face.
"Why did you come just now?"
He felt wronged and uncomfortable, woooo, he would never dare to do bad things again!
"I didn't expect you couldn't even hide it for two days." Shang Wan's tone was full of disgust.
Geng Hao: “…”
If you can't speak human language, don't speak!
"Why are you crying, man? He's not dead, is he?" Shang Wan threw Niu Baoqing, who was in his arms, next to Geng Hao and said, "Just stay still. Leave it to me."
The two men nodded obediently and watched as Shang Wan beat down the guards who rushed in, including Yang Rang, like cutting melons and vegetables.
As for the two hungry dogs, after being kicked by Shang Wan, they had already fled to the corner with their tails between their legs.
Shang Wan turned around and hooked his fingers at the two of them, "Come here."
The two hungry dogs walked up to Shang Wan like docile rabbits, wagging their tails wildly to please him.
"Bite him." Shang Wan pointed at Yang Rang.
Yang Rang's eyelids twitched suddenly, and he threatened sternly: "If you dare to touch me, the master will not let you go!"
Shang Wan curled his lips. They had already fought, so what else could he do?
The two hungry dogs pounced on Yang Rang together.
Yang Rang's leg was broken by Shang Wan, and he couldn't escape even if he wanted to. Soon, Yang Rang's shrill screams were heard in the yard.
Everyone was so frightened that they were gulping, and the timid ones had already blocked their ears.
The screams attracted the patrolling guards, and after seeing the horrific scene in the yard, they all widened their eyes in shock.
"Help...help..." Yang Rang called for help weakly.
"Butler Yang!" The captain of the guards saw the face of the person who was bitten, shuddered with fear, and rushed in with his men.
Shang Wan flashed forward to stop everyone. Before the guards could react, his figure was like a ghost. The captain of the guards had not even seen Shang Wan's face before he was knocked down.
Shang Wan glanced around with a look of disdain on his face, "Tsk, there's not a single one who can fight."

Seeing that Yang Rang didn't have much good meat left, Shang Wan put the two ferocious hunting dogs back into the cage.
When Tian Sheng heard that something happened at the kennel, he quickly gathered people and rushed over.
Shang Wan's leisurely demeanor contrasted sharply with the tragic scene in the yard. Tian Sheng was so angry that his eyes were about to burst, and he roared, "Kill her for me!"
