Chapter 45: The human heart is unpredictable
Li Guoer was so angry that she laughed. "Haha, some people clearly have poor self-control and can't control themselves from eating too much, yet they blame others for cooking delicious food. It really is hard to predict human nature, and the world is so fickle."
A "haha" made Li Qingqing react and shook her head: "It's my fault, it has nothing to do with you. I blame myself for being too greedy."
Li Guoer gave her another meaningful look: "Oh, isn't it delicious?"
"No, no, absolutely not." Li Qingqing waved her hands and shook her head frantically.
Oh my god, when did Xiaoguoer become so powerful in aura? It’s scary.
The two then talked about the girls of similar age who played together in the village when they were young, and they found out that except for the two of them, the others were all married, and some of them had children who were several years old.
Both she and Li Qingqing were admitted to university, and their families were relatively open-minded and would not force them to get married early.
Most girls in the village drop out of school after graduating from junior high school and then go out to work in developed cities.
Relatively speaking, people get married very early, usually around the age of 20, and some get married as young as 16 or 17.
Many of them married and moved to other provinces, and rarely came back once a year.
"Do you still remember Luo Xiaoyan?" Li Qingqing suddenly asked.
"Remember, that girl who used to like following you around every day? I think she got married and moved to Province Y, right?"
Li Guoer still remembers her. She is a relative of Luo Xianglian's mother's family. She went out to work after graduating from junior high school.
"I met her in H City. She and her husband worked in a factory there. Her in-laws favored boys over girls, and after she gave birth to two girls, her mother-in-law was unhappy and constantly harassed her. Her husband also had an older brother and a younger brother, and the whole family lived together without a separate household. His parents didn't value him at home. The couple couldn't make ends meet at home anymore, so they took their two children to H City. They rented a house there, and both children were old enough to go to kindergarten, but because the tuition was too high, they didn't go, leaving the older one to take care of the younger ones."
"It was because I knew her experience that I decided to break up with my ex-boyfriend. Marriage is really a matter of two families, not just love between two people."
Li Qingqing felt a little emotional and sad for a moment. Marriage is really a woman's second life. If she doesn't make the right choice, she may suffer for the rest of her life.
Li Guoer was much more insightful and said to her, "Why are you so sad every day? As long as a woman is financially independent, has an independent personality, has self-respect and is strong, doesn't look down on herself, and doesn't rely on men, even if she meets a bad man, she will still have the confidence to divorce and find a better one."
After saying that, he changed the subject, fearing that she would continue to dwell on her ex-boyfriend: "Didn't Luo Xiaoyan's brother die in an accident last year? She's the only child in the family, right? Have you ever thought about bringing your husband and child to live in our Lijia Village?"
It just so happened that her husband's family had many children and didn't care about their family, and she was the only one left in her parents' family.
Her parents are kind and generous people. In the future, the child can go to school here and her parents can help take care of the child. It is the best of both worlds.
"They came back with me. Xiaoyan said her husband was heartbroken by his in-laws, so they discussed it and decided to come live with us."
Li Qingqing also told Li Guoer what she had learned.
"Isn't that good? It means her husband is a sensible man. Now that he's away from his family, his life will only get better."
The two chatted about village gossip, recent situations, and sisterly whispers, and time passed by unknowingly.
Seeing that it was very late and she had not returned home yet, Li Qingqing's father came to pick her up in person.
Seeing this, Li Guoer quickly packed her a large bag of dried fruits, a bottle of honey, and a set of homemade skin care products.
After seeing off Li Qingqing and her daughter, she took her family into the space to take a hot spring bath.
The family members have been very busy recently, especially Li Xuezhu, so let them take a hot spring bath to relax.

Luo Xiaoyan was talking to her husband Zhang Qiang, who was lying next to her, about her plans for the new year with anticipation on her face.
"I won't be going to H City after the New Year. I can't wait any longer for my two children. It's time for them to go to kindergarten."
"Tomorrow I'm going to ask Uncle Xuezhu if they're hiring. I want to work there so I can be with my parents and not leave my children."
When Luo Xiaoyan came back this time, she suddenly realized that her parents were old and she wanted to spend more time with them.
Zhang Qiang has always supported Luo Xiaoyan's plans.
"When you ask, ask for me too. I don't want to work away from home anymore. If I can find a job close to home, our family won't have to be separated."
His father-in-law and mother-in-law are very kind to him, which is something he would never dare to think about in his original family.
