Chapter 100 You're Going to Jail, I Want a Divorce (2/2)

Grandma Jiang stuffed a thick red envelope into Lin Han's hand.

"Grandma doesn't know what you young people like, so I prepared red envelopes. Buy whatever you need yourself, don't be shy with Grandma."

Lin Han was a little flattered, not expecting Huo Qizheng's grandparents to be so enthusiastic.

"Thank you, Grandma. Thank you, Grandpa."

Lin Han's sweet talk made the elderly couple beam with joy.

At the dinner table, Grandpa Gu asked Qin Shuman about Huo Qizheng.

"You've found your son?"

Qin Shuman nodded with tears in her eyes.

"Found him. He's an outstanding person named Huo Qizheng, the commander of the 137th Regiment of the Qingzhou Military Region. He's young and promising."

Grandpa Gu nodded with satisfaction.

"As expected of the descendants of our Gu family, they haven't gone astray. When we have time, we'll have Huaiming bring He Qizheng back to visit as well."

Qin Shuman agreed.

Lin Han advised against taking any rash action in finding the person who leaked the information back then, so Qin Shuman didn't tell the elderly couple in advance. She decided to wait until things became clearer before informing them.

"Dad, Mom, Hanhan and I are coming back to stay for a while and keep you two company."

Grandma Jiang was overjoyed. "Great! Stay as long as you want. Why don't you have your dad transfer Huaiming and Qizheng back? It would be so nice if the whole family could be together again."

Qin Shuman also had the same idea.

She and Gu Huaiming couldn't come back because they hadn't been able to find their son.

Now that my son has been found, Kyoto is still the best place.

There are many opportunities for development in the Kyoto Military Region. When Gu Huaiming celebrated his birthday, he intentionally introduced Huo Qizheng to the leaders of the Military Region, with the intention of getting him to work there.

"I'll do whatever my parents decide."

Lin Han stood there bewildered. Transferred back to the General Military Region? Kyoto?

Is the map changing?

Never mind, she'll just follow along and tag along.

Grandma Jiang had someone prepare rooms for Qin Shuman and Lin Han well in advance.

"After you finish eating, go upstairs and rest for a while. It's okay if you come down to talk later."

You must be exhausted after such a long train ride.

Qin Shuman was very touched by her mother-in-law's thoughtfulness. She herself didn't mind, but her daughter-in-law was frail and needed to rest.

"Thank you, Mom. I'll take Hanhan upstairs to rest in a bit."

Lin Han's room was next to Qin Shuman's. The room was very large and the furniture inside was very antique, with a solid wood bed, a solid wood wardrobe, a solid wood table and chairs, and bookshelves filled with books. A green glass pull-out floor lamp was placed next to the single sofa.

Lin Han took a shower, changed into her pajamas, lay down on the bed, and fell asleep.

The train was too noisy, and she couldn't go to her spatial dimension to rest in front of Qin Shuman, so her sleep quality wasn't very good.

I slept for quite a while, and in my half-asleep state, I heard a commotion downstairs.

Lin Han got up and walked to the railing of the stairs to look down.

Yang Feng cried and sobbed in the living room, telling the elderly couple her story.

"Mom and Dad, you have to stand up for me! I'm being bullied to death."
