What is he afraid of?
The woman's freshly peeled egg was snatched away by the man and shoved into Baogen's hand. The woman glared at him sideways.
"You're so generous."
Her little face was puffed up with anger, and she turned her head away to sulk, gritting her teeth.
Lin Han looked the woman up and down. There were calluses on the back of her hands, which you could say were from years of farm work, but her skin was fair and delicate.
suspicious.
Baogen finally stopped making a fuss after getting the eggs, and he and the old lady almost filled up all the seats.
Lin Han was almost pushed off the train by the old lady. She stood up to go to the toilet and pretended to accidentally step on the old lady's foot.
"Ouch, my foot! Are you trying to stomp me to death?"
The old woman tried to move her foot that Lin Han had stepped on, but found that she couldn't move it at all. She tried to get up, but as soon as her foot touched the ground, she felt a piercing pain.
"I can't come anymore, my leg is broken, you have to pay me back."
Lin Han looked completely innocent. "Huh? I just accidentally bumped into you. How could I have broken your foot? You're not trying to scam me, are you? I don't have any money."
People around looked over and wondered how much force Lin Han, a thin girl, could possibly exert when she stepped on something.
Moreover, this old woman just let her grandson run wild everywhere; she's clearly not a good person.
The man whose scallion pancake had just been stolen spoke first.
"Auntie, how could you falsely accuse a young girl? Look how badly you two have squeezed her! She doesn't even dare to utter a sound. Do you think you could break her foot?"
The old woman had no way to argue her point; no one believed that Lin Han had broken her bones, and everyone thought she was faking it.
Baogen broke free from the old woman's hands and jumped around in the carriage, fearlessly running over and grabbing a handful of hair from the woman whose two eggs had been stolen.
"Oh, you little rascal."
She was about to deal with Baogen when the man beside her stopped her.
Lin Han witnessed this scene and felt that both of them had something wrong with them.
Instead of alerting the enemy, she turned and went to the restroom in the connecting area between the carriages.
Why is the toilet on this old-fashioned train a hole through which you can see the stones on the tracks?
How much shit must be on that track?
When Lin Han came out of the restroom, she saw a familiar figure—the woman who had been sitting opposite her and had two eggs stolen from her.
The woman, dressed in an inconspicuous gray-blue collared reversible shirt, furtively walked into the carriage, seemingly carrying something suspiciously.
Lin Han couldn't figure out the two people's background, so she could only ask the train police for help.
"Officer, I've spotted two suspicious individuals in the same carriage I'm in. Please send someone to check them out."
After hearing Lin Han's description, the police realized it wasn't just petty theft and immediately became more vigilant.
"Comrade, come with me to the dining car first. Someone will come over to ask you about the situation in a little while."
After escorting Lin Han to the dining car, the train police officer went to report to his superiors.
This train was special. Before it departed, the Ministry of State Security notified them that enemy agents might have infiltrated the train, and they were instructed to take extra precautions.
After hearing what Lin Han said, the train police officer felt that it was very likely that the person was hired by the National Security Bureau.
He didn't dare delay for a moment and reported the situation.
Not long after, two plainclothes police officers arrived at the food truck.
"Comrade, did you call the police just now?"
