Chapter 156 Help! I've encountered a ghost! (2/2)

"Oh my god, what happened to you? How did you get like this?"

Li Qiao was terrified. She felt like she was possessed by a ghost, and she would stumble and fall every few steps. Later, she fell to the ground and was too scared to get up. Then, an unseen person appeared beside her and helped her up so she could continue walking.

That's terrifying.

Li Qiao came from the countryside, where there are many legends about ghosts and monsters. The elders say that once a person is haunted by a ghost or monster, they will live in endless terror for the rest of their life.

Li Qiao felt that she might have been infected.

She cried as she told her aunt that she couldn't control herself from falling, and then she couldn't control herself from being helped up and falling again.

Her aunt was terrified when she heard this, "You...you're possessed?"

Li Qiao was so frightened that she cried, but her aunt wouldn't let her in.

"You should go back to your dorm first. Your cousin has only recently found a job, and it wouldn't be good if he got dirty again."

Li Qiao was frightened. "Auntie, please help me! I really don't know what to do. Please help me."

But what awaited her was the sound of a door slamming shut.

Li Qiao couldn't stop crying. At that moment, that invisible force lifted her up from the ground and turned her head so that it faced the direction of the dormitory.

Li Qiao knew that the ghost was telling her to go to the dormitory.

They were afraid that if they angered the ghosts, they would be in trouble and might face retaliation.

She was terrified, but she had no choice but to follow the ghost's instructions and head towards the dormitory.

Just like on the way to my aunt's house, I would trip and fall every few steps.

There are more people in the family compound now.

Everyone found it strange to see Li Qiao.

Someone came up and spoke to her.

Li Qiao wanted to explain, but her mouth was covered. She could feel a hand on her face, which almost scared her to death.

Unable to speak, Li Qiao stared wide-eyed in shock. To others, it looked as if Li Qiao had lost her mind, inexplicably throwing herself to the ground.

She wouldn't respond when people talked to her, and everyone got bored and stopped paying attention to her.

However, there were also some naughty children. Even though their parents were yelling at them to come home for dinner, they still followed Li Qiao around in groups. They would laugh at her if she fell down.

The distance from Li Qiao's aunt's house to the female soldiers' dormitory was not short, and she fell quite a bit along the way.

By the time she got to the bottom of the dormitory building, she had scraped the skin off both elbows and knees, and blood had soaked through her clothes.

Fortunately, the ghost didn't follow her upstairs; it left right downstairs in the dormitory.

Li Qiao felt pain all over her body when she went upstairs, but because she was no longer under the control of that force, her highly tense mind was relieved a lot.

He lay sprawled on the ground for a while before heading back to his dorm.

Just then, everyone was returning from outside, and many people saw Li Qiao stumble and fall all the way back to the dormitory building, followed by a group of children who were running around and laughing at her.

Li Qiao felt utterly humiliated.

But more than feeling ashamed, she was afraid that the ghost from before would come looking for her again.

Did she do something bad recently and offend someone?

Why would I inexplicably attract ghosts and monsters?

Li Qiao couldn't understand why, ever since she joined the army, almost no one among the new recruits dared to challenge her because her uncle was the regimental commander.

The only person who isn't afraid of her and dares to act tough with her is Wang Ru. Could it be Wang Ru who's behind this?

Should I blame myself for not writing her a recommendation letter for the bulletin board?
