The man's eyes held reproach. "She is, after all, your mother."
Qin Jinzhi seemed to have heard a funny joke. She stood up, walked up to the man, and kicked him to the ground.
The woman screamed, "What are you doing? I'm going to kill you!"
As she spoke, she lunged at Qin Jinzhi, but Yun Que held her back tightly.
Qin Jinzhi grabbed the man's hair and pulled him close. "Has it been too long? Have you forgotten what kind of person you are, Lord Cui?"
"Let go of Ziyu! Don't touch him with your filthy hands!"
The man gave her a reassuring look. There was no anger on his face. He simply said calmly, "I know you have grievances in your heart. You can do whatever you want to me. You've imprisoned her for ten years. Let her go."
Qin Jinzhi laughed even louder, "If I let her go, how can I expect the second young master of the Cui family in Qinghe to work for me willingly?"
The man said with a gentle expression, "I am willing to take the poison of the Azure Sky and be at your beck and call, as long as you release Ayin."
"No! No way! You'll die if you eat it! You can't beg her! I won't agree."
Cui Ziyu looked at her tenderly and said, "I'd do anything for you."
Qin Jinzhi couldn't help but applaud as she watched the two of them being so affectionate. "So touching, so touching. I would be doing you a disservice if I didn't do something about your unbreakable bond."
The woman glared fiercely at Qin Jinzhi, "If I had known you were a demon incarnate, I should have strangled you long ago. I truly regret giving birth to you!"
Qin Jinzhi showed no sadness whatsoever. Instead, she smiled and said, "It's a pity, there's no medicine for regret in this world."
She took out a porcelain bottle from her sleeve and poured all the pills inside onto the ground. "Today is the day her cold poison flares up. If she doesn't die, I'll give you a chance to take the Azure Poison."
Qin Jinzhi crushed all the red pills with a single step.
Upon seeing this, Cui Ziyu lunged towards Qin Jinzhi's feet, crying out, "No! No! No! Ayin's health isn't good; she can't withstand this Azure Poison! You can't do this to her! She'll die!"
Qin Jinzhi kicked the man over and said casually, "Of course I knew I would die. I knew it when I was eight years old."
Cui Ziyu's eyes were bloodshot. "Jinzhi! She's your mother! You can't treat her like this! It's all my fault! It's all my fault! If you want to do something, take it out on me!"
The man, still unwilling to give up, tried to move Qin Jinzhi's feet away until he was certain that all the pills had blended into the dust and were no longer distinguishable.
With red eyes, he roared, "Didn't you ever consider that you might be my and Ayin's biological child?!"
Yun Que, her eyes filled with anger, stepped forward and slapped Cui Ziyu.
Qin Jinzhi's mother, no longer restrained by Yun Que, ran to Cui Ziyu's side.
"Ziyu! Are you alright?!"
Qin Jinzhi squatted down to be at eye level with Cui Ziyu. "You don't mean to say that the second young master of the prestigious Qinghe Cui family, the prime minister's younger brother, seduced the heir apparent's wife while the heir apparent was fighting on the battlefield, so I might be a bastard?"
Cui Ziyu's face turned pale. This was the most absurd and embarrassing past in his life, but he did not regret it.
Qin Jinzhi looked at the two of them and suddenly sneered, "I really want to put on a show with you, but your faces are just too ridiculous. If I really am the bastard child of you two, then let me, the bastard child, torment you. Isn't that divine retribution?"

The empty house echoed with Qin Jinzhi's laughter.
"You're a madman, you're a madman."
Cui Ziyu couldn't help but shudder as she looked at Qin Jinzhi's somewhat manic laughter.
Whenever Qin Jinzhi's mother cursed Qin Jinzhi, her face would gradually turn bluish-purple.
He coughed up a mouthful of blood and collapsed to the ground, utterly exhausted.
The color of his skin also began to turn bluish-purple.
Large gulps of blood kept gushing from his mouth.

Cui Ziyu looked at Qin Jinzhi's smiling face, her eyes filled with terror.
It took him three years to find where Ah Yin was being held.
Finally, he bribed a guard in an attempt to rescue Ayin.
How could Qin Jinzhi have known!
"Are you wondering how I would know? That guard only arrived three years ago and has never seen you before, yet he showed no surprise upon seeing you. There's only one possibility: he has seen you before. But under what circumstances did he see you?"
"Over the past three years, there have been continuous reports confirming that you and I may be father and daughter. You did it, didn't you, Lord Cui?"
Choi Tzu-yu's expression gradually turned grim.
