By the time her son-in-law managed to run to a nearby village and finally get help, the old lady had already fainted at the bottom of the ditch.
Meanwhile, Cheng Baidong had already ridden his bicycle several miles away.
He curved his lips into a slight smile, suppressing his pleasure beneath the upturned corners of his mouth.
Half an hour later, Cheng Baidong finally entered the city.
The little Vermilion Bird perched on his shoulder, and to avoid revealing its ability to speak, it directly asked him telepathically, "Where are we going now?"
Cheng Baidong gave a brief reply: "Find Su Chen."
Little Vermilion Bird: "Where is Su Chen?"
"unit."
Su Chen works at the post office, and Cheng Baidong knows the post office address very well.
He rode his bike directly to the street where the post office was located, but he didn't get close. Instead, he stopped at the street corner, observed from a distance, and then found a young man dressed like a street thug. He gave him 50 cents and asked him to go to the post office and call Su Chen to the back alley.

Seeing Su Chen being called out of the post office by the young man, Cheng Baidong pedaled his bicycle, passed through the alley, and went around to the back alley of the street. Su Chen was standing in the back alley with a blank expression.
"Didn't you say someone was looking for me?"
Where are they?
He looked around but didn't see anyone, so he scratched his head and prepared to go back.
The instant he turned around, a sack fell from the sky, covering his head and completely covering his upper body.
Suddenly, everything went black, and the unknown fear made Su Chen's eyes widen in terror: "Who?!"
"Who's behind this?"
No one answered.
The next second, vicious fists rained down on him one after another.
Su Chen screamed in pain.
