Fang Qiao hung up the phone and waited for the call to be returned.
While waiting, an employee from the grocery store came over to chat with Fang Qiao, and Fang Qiao exchanged a few casual words with her.
About ten minutes later, the phone finally came back. What the other party said was like a wake-up call for Qiao, almost stunning her.
"Are you sure the person you're looking for is a temporary worker in the loading and unloading workshop? There's no such person in the loading and unloading workshop."
"How could that be? He's been working in the loading and unloading workshop for two years."
"There really isn't such a person..."

Fang Qiao calmed down and asked, "May I ask what he was fired for?"
"I don't know, I just glanced at it casually and didn't pay attention."
"Okay, thank you anyway."
"You are welcome."
After hanging up the phone, she bit her lip, her hand gripping the phone so tightly that the veins on the back of her hand bulged.
Upon seeing this, the shop assistant, who was cracking sunflower seeds, came over with a gossipy look and asked, "Xiao Qiao, who in your family got fired?"
Fang Qiao looked displeased, made a few perfunctory remarks, handed her the phone bill, and left.
