Chapter 324 Classmates

After Li Jingjing's prompting, the woman realized that she had grasped the wrong point.

It's true that rage makes people lose their minds.

She glanced at Li Jingjing and twitched her lips: "You're quite clever, little girl."

Li Jingjing chuckled twice but didn't reply.

"Alright, I appreciate your kindness, ma'am. I won't make things difficult for this young girl." The woman clapped her hands and said through gritted teeth, "Every wrong has its source, every debt its debtor. I want to see which heartless, unscrupulous merchant dares to sell such substandard, tattered clothes!"

The woman strode confidently into the clothing store. Li Jingjing took the opportunity to help the little girl up from the ground and said to her, "Find a place to hide yourself. Don't be stupid and keep going forward."

The little girl recognized Li Jingjing as a shop assistant next door. She often saw her on her way to and from get off work, but they had never spoken.

With tears in her eyes, she thanked her, saying, "Thank you, sister."

Li Jingjing: "No need to thank me. We're all just working for someone else. Seeing you is like seeing myself. I hope that one day, if I encounter something like this, someone will help me too."

Hearing Li Jingjing say this, tears welled up in the little girl's eyes again: "Sister, you're so kind."

"Our boss is a good person," Li Jingjing said. "I was scared at first and didn't dare to rush out. It was because my boss said that he would give me a bonus at the end of the month if I helped you that I had the courage to come out and help you."

Li Jingjing muttered to herself, "That old lady was so fierce, I'm still scared to this day."

Just then, a loud 'bang' suddenly came from the shop next door, startling Li Jingjing and the little girl.

"Oh my, this is really scary." Li Jingjing was terrified. "I'm leaving now. You should find a place to hide too, lest you become someone's shield again. It's not worth suffering so much for such a small salary."

Li Jingjing crouched down as she returned to the shop and found that the second boss, Cheng Jing, had also arrived.

She didn't approach, just gave an 'OK' sign and walked away. Anyway, the boss had already seen everything she did through the glass, and she'd definitely get a bonus at the end of the month.

Xiao Jing came to show Fang Qiao the design sketches for the new spring collection. School is about to start, and the two of them will be busy with their studies, so they will have to spend less time on the clothing factory. They must finalize the new collection before school starts.

She never expected it to be such a coincidence that she would run into the trouble next door as soon as she arrived.

Keep in mind that the shop next door has only been open for a little over a week. How bad must the quality be for it to fail so quickly?

Xiao Jing clicked her tongue and told Fang Qiao her thoughts.

Fang Qiao: "Those who do many evil deeds will surely perish; even God is not on her side."

There was no point in saying more, so Xiaojing quickly changed the subject to something serious.

The two sat together for half an hour and finalized the new spring collection for this year.

Fang Qiao saw Xiao Jing off at the door. Just then, the two of them discovered that the conflict next door, caused by a clothing quality issue, had escalated into a brawl and even attracted the attention of the police.

A group of people were gathered in front of the shop next door, arguing and spitting as they spoke.

The victim, an elderly woman, said: "This is a shady shop. The clothes they sell are ridiculously expensive but of terrible quality. The new clothes I bought torn the first time I wore them, and they even made me lose face at the awards ceremony. She wants the shady shop to pay her back!"

The cashier at the shop next door said: "If the clothes are damaged, you should pay for them and apologize. I didn't say I wouldn't acknowledge it. But this person is being unreasonable. She scratched my face, pulled my hair, and overturned a whole rack of clothes as soon as she came in. She's intentionally harming me and maliciously damaging my property. We'll definitely pay her for the clothes, but she also needs to compensate the shop for the damage!"

The victim, an elderly woman, was furious: "You want me to pay you back? What a load of bull! You wish! If you hadn't sold me these tattered clothes, would I be causing you trouble? Besides, are the tattered clothes you sell even up to standard? To be honest, clothes of this poor quality shouldn't even be displayed for sale! I tore this down purely out of justice! I can't stand unscrupulous merchants like you!"

Two middle-aged women got into a fight right in front of the police when a young woman with makeup and a fashionable outfit stepped in to break them up.

Xiao Jing's gaze suddenly sharpened when she saw her.

Fang Qiao noticed a slight change in her expression and asked, "What's wrong?"

"I saw someone familiar." Xiao Jing pointed to the young woman, gesturing for Fang Qiao to look: "Sister-in-law, have you seen that girl in the camel-colored wool coat?"

Fang Qiao nodded: "I saw it. You're dressed quite fashionably. What's wrong?"

Xiaojing: "She was also a student at the Textile University, in the same year as me, but not in the same class. I took large lectures with her."

Fang Qiao suddenly realized something.

She turned her head sharply and looked in the direction of the fashionable girl.

The stylishly dressed girl was standing in front of the middle-aged woman who was collecting money in the shop next door. She was arguing righteously with the old woman who had bought the damaged clothes. But after she finished speaking, the old woman became even more agitated, and the conflict broke out again almost instantly.

The two groups started fighting.

The police officers yelled at them to let go immediately.

Fang Qiao turned around and said to Xiao Jing, "Your classmate knows the boss next door."

Xiaojing added, "Perhaps she's the owner of the shop next door."
