Xiao Jing interjected, "My sister-in-law really wasn't home this morning; she went to Heshan to pick locust flowers!"
“I don’t believe what you say.” Sun Shuyi smiled contemptuously: “You’re so biased towards her, of course you’ll speak up for her. Even if she’s not home, you’ll still make her say she is.”
Xiao Jing trembled with anger: "I'm not a liar like you, I'm telling the truth!"
"Who are you calling a liar?" Sun Shuyi suddenly raised her voice, glaring fiercely at Xiao Jing.
Xiao Jing trembled with fright at her shrill voice.
"Why are you being so aggressive in front of me?" Fang Qiao stood in front of Xiao Jing, giving her a cold glare: "I'm talking about you, you liar!"
“My entry and exit records for the residential compound are all registered. I left at eight o’clock and didn’t return until after eleven o’clock in the morning. The guards at the gate and the registration book can prove it!”
Chen Guizhi ran over breathlessly, raised her hand and said, "I, I can testify too! I went to Heshan with Xiao Qiao this morning, and I can prove that she wasn't home at noon!"
"Both eyewitness accounts and physical evidence prove that I wasn't home at noon at all, yet you're saying I was home hitting the child! Isn't that a lie?"
