Chapter 11 That Damn Man
Shi Dazhuang took two steps back and was supported by his wife.
Shi Nianzhi quickly went over and supported his arm, her voice filled with anxiety, "Dad, are you alright?"
Shi Dazhuang grabbed Shi Nianzhi's hand, "You child, you've come back just in time. Quickly apologize to President Lu."
"Apologize?"
Shi Nianzhi seemed not to quite understand why he needed to apologize.
Before Shi Dazhuang could say anything more, Shi Nianzhi's hand was already grabbed.
The man looked down at him. "You've gotten smarter, haven't you? You can run now?"
Why is he running away? It was clearly Lu Jiunian who asked Gu Yuanyuan to give him a train ticket and send him home.
Shi Nianzhi's lowered eyelashes trembled slightly. He lifted his eyelids to look at the man's cold, hard face, opened his mouth, but before he could say anything...
Lu Jiunian had already pulled him into the main room, and then into Shi Nianzhi's former room.
"Bang, tear—"
The door was closed, and the curtains were drawn.
The assistant clenched his fist and coughed lightly, thinking to himself that their Third Master had no sense of propriety; the other man's parents were still here.
It would be so embarrassing if we made any noise.
"Um, well...didn't Mr. Lu send people over to harvest the rice? Is it all harvested?"
Shi Dazhuang smiled sincerely, "Ah, we finished harvesting yesterday and are helping with the rice harvesting now. They're too kind. I offered to treat them to a meal, but they said they weren't used to the local climate and refused to eat."
"Well, they might want to eat it again now."
"What?"
"Take me there and have a look, okay?"
"Oh, okay! It's getting dark, I'll go get a flashlight."
"No need, I have some. Let's go."
The assistant kicked the bodyguard next to him, and the two bodyguards expressionlessly took out special flashlights from their pockets and walked away.
"This thing is so small, but the light is very bright, much brighter than my old flashlight."
"If you like them, I'll get you a few later."
"Oh dear, I can't accept that."
"It's nothing, just a cheap trinket."
The group then left the courtyard.
Shi Nianzhi's mother turned around and glanced back, her voice filled with concern, "Nianzhi..."
The assistant's reassuring voice said, "Don't worry, our CEO Lu is very... gentle. It's just a heart-to-heart talk. Um, Si'er, you stay here and guard outside the door. If CEO Lu has any instructions, please take responsibility."
It's best to keep an eye on them; if anyone comes to visit, the rumors about their third master's domestic violence will spread.
We must protect Third Master's reputation.
The room was dark, with the lights off and the curtains drawn.
Shi Nianzhi lay face down on the bed, her hands restrained behind her back by Lu Jiunian's single hand.
His face stung from the pressure, and he said in an angry voice, "Let go of me! You're hurting me!"
Lu Jiunian clung to the coat he was wearing.
Her low, cold voice was devoid of warmth: "Didn't I tell you not to get your hands on other men's scent? I hate it."
Lu Jiunian picked up the small round fish tank by the window.
He ripped off Shi Nianzhi's coat and threw it on the ground.
Raise your hand and pour the water from the fish tank over your head.
Shi Nianzhi exclaimed "Ah!" and then realized, "What did you use to water me? My, my goldfish!"
He hadn't struggled before, but now he's struggling desperately.
The more he struggled, the harder Lu Jiunian pressed him down.
Shi Nianzhi rarely gets angry, but Lu Jiunian really angered him.
But his anger was useless; he couldn't beat Lu Jiunian anyway.
Shi Nianzhi gave up struggling.
The boy's hoarse voice was filled with despair, "What do you want? You were the one who said you didn't want me, and you were the one who threw a tantrum. What do you want from me?"
