Chapter 32 How are you feeling today?

Chapter 32 How are you feeling today?

Lu Jiunian was locked out of the room. His smile froze on his face, and then he gritted his teeth slightly.

He knocked on the door, his tone commanding, "Open the door!"

"Not open."

Shi Nianzhi leaned against the door, his lips pursed, his tone particularly serious.

"You think you're so great? You dare lock me out."

"You should reflect on this carefully."

"What?"

Shi Nianzhi, fuming, raised her voice and repeated, "You should reflect on this carefully!"

How dare you yell at him?

Lu Jiunian clenched his fist and slammed it against the door.

After a while, he sneered, "I'll count to three and you open the door, or you'll face the consequences."

"Even if you count to a hundred, even if you count until dawn, I still won't open the door for you."

"Okay, try going out this door tomorrow!"

There was no sound outside the door; Lu Jiunian must have left.

Shi Nianzhi waited a while longer, then sat on the bed looking somewhat dejected.

After sitting for a long time, Shi Nianzhi was so tired and the bed was so soft that he fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.

He had a nightmare.

In the dream, Lu Jiunian tied him to a pillar, and then, with the hand of the man in the silver collar, whipped him.

No matter how much he begged for mercy or cried out, Lu Jiunian's eyes remained cold.

The man with the silver collar laughed loudly and smugly, "Kill him, kill him! Niannian, let's set it on fire and burn him to death."

Lu Jiunian's vicious voice said, "Burning someone to death is illegal. He's so ignorant, daring to lock me out. I'm going to cripple him."

"How can it be wasted every year?"

"Set his penis on fire."

No! Don't!

Shi Nianzhi woke up from a nightmare in a cold sweat, her heart pounding.

He stared at the ceiling for a while before recovering, then gently moved his fingers and sat up in bed, panting.

Thinking of the scene in her dream, Shi Nianzhi quickly threw off the covers again.

He let out a heavy sigh of relief. "Thank goodness, it's still there."

It scared him to death.

Shi Nianzhi picked up her phone and glanced at it; it was 4:30 a.m.

He quickly got up, changed into his school uniform, and took out his ID card, putting it in his pocket. He opened the door, and the corridor was lit up with small lights.

There was no one there.

Lu Jiunian had not yet gotten up.

Shi Nianzhi tiptoed to the study, packed his schoolbag, slung it over his shoulder, and went downstairs.

He tried to open the door, but found that he couldn't open it no matter what he did. It must have been something Lu Jiunian did to prevent him from escaping.

By doing this, he's essentially trapping the fish in a jar, waiting for it to walk right into his trap.

Shi Nianzhi tiptoed upstairs. He walked to the large balcony at the end of the corridor, surveyed the area, and then went back to pull up the bed sheet.

They tied themselves up and used the ropes to climb down with great difficulty.

Reality is different from TV dramas. When Shi Nianzhi was halfway through, the bed sheet that was tied to him suddenly came loose, and Shi Nianzhi fell down.

The neatly trimmed shrubs below were smashed into the shape of a human, and the bed sheet spread out like a large net, covering him.

"Ah, hiss—"

Shi Nianzhi grimaced in pain as he scrambled to his feet, stumbled out of the bushes, and pulled the bed sheet over.

His arms, neck, and cheeks were covered with tiny scratches from bush branches.

He moved his arms and legs and twisted his waist; thankfully, he wasn't seriously injured.

Shi Nianzhi crumpled the bed sheet into a ball, ran a few steps to the side, and stuffed it into the flower bushes. Then he tugged at the twigs and leaves in his hair.

We walked further and further into the morning mist.

Lu Jiunian woke up at six o'clock, and the first thing he did was knock on the bedroom door.

"Aren't you going to open the door yet? Aren't you going to go to school later?"

No one responded to him. Lu Jiunian went for a morning run, then worked out at the gym for a while, and took a shower.

It's seven o'clock.

I had breakfast at 7:30.

Before leaving, Lu Jiunian instructed Zhang Sao, "Don't give him any food or drink. Let's see how long he can lock himself up."

School.

Thankfully, Shi Nianzhi remembered the way; his legs were about to give out from walking all that way.

He ate breakfast outside the school and rested for a while before walking into the campus.

Gu Yuanyuan usually arrives at school right on time, so Shi Nianzhi isn't worried about running into her in the mornings.

Even if he didn't ring half an hour before the bell, just five minutes earlier would have been enough to perfectly avoid Gu Yuanyuan.

Shi Nianzhi arrived forty minutes early today. He thought he was very early, but when he entered the classroom, most of the students were already there.

It's clear that he usually arrives late.

Shi Nianzhi walked inside, and Su Hengyi followed behind him. They took different passageways.

Because it was located right below the podium, Su Hengyi didn't have to walk across the podium, while Shi Nianzhi had to walk across one of the podiums.

Shi Nianzhi pursed his lips. After Su Hengyi sat down, he walked very slowly to the podium, then dawdled as he pulled out a chair and sat down.

Su Heng glanced at him, his voice devoid of emotion and distant, "It fell."

It's still a statement of fact.

"Ah, oh..."

Shi Nianzhi touched the tiny scratch on her cheek; it had already scabbed over.

There were quite a few on his neck, and one area was very painful. Shi Nianzhi touched it and realized that it was probably a scraped patch.

I accidentally fell this morning.

Shi Nianzhi draped his schoolbag over the chair, then picked it up again and held it in his arms. He unzipped the bag and took out the test paper he had copied by hand.

"Um, Brother Yi, I..."

Before he could finish speaking, Su Hengyi's fingertips touched his cheek; they were warm, not cold.

Shi Nianzhi was stunned, and then saw Su Hengyi tear off the band-aid again, "Tilting his head back."

Shi Nianzhi quickly tilted his head back, and the band-aid was stuck to his neck again.

"hand."

Shi Nianzhi quickly reached out his hand again.

Su Heng glanced down at the deep wounds on Shi Nianzhi's hands, took out medical iodine from his bag, disinfected them, and then applied a band-aid.

Ordinary students wouldn't carry this, which shows that this guy is a formidable character.

After finishing his work, Su Heng put on his headphones, grabbed his English workbook, and started doing practice questions.

A warm current suddenly flowed through Shi Nianzhi's heart.

Although the eldest brother seems cold and doesn't talk much, he's actually a really nice person.

It's not as terrible as they say.

Shi Nianzhi also mustered his courage and tugged at Su Hengyi's sleeve.

Perhaps if I confess, I can save my leg?

After finishing the question, Su Hengyi paused the game and then ripped off one of his headphones.

She looked at him with a light, lazy gaze.

Shi Nianzhi coughed lightly. "How are you feeling today?"

Su Heng remained silent, so Shi Nianzhi added, "You were promoted to Glory King yesterday, so you must be in a good mood, right?"

"Speak your mind."

Shi Nianzhi mustered her courage and brought the test paper out into the open. "Your test paper was torn up. This is a copy I made by hand. I even wrote your name on it. You can use it to hand in your homework. If you're angry, you can beat me up, but please, don't break any bones."
