Chapter 54 Bear the consequences
Lu Jiunian stood in front of the sink, looked at himself in the mirror, and then turned on the tap to wash his face.
After washing off the lipstick stains on his face, he took the spare key to open the study door.
Shi Nianzhi had slept on a makeshift bed on the floor in the study. He was half asleep and half awake when he heard a noise. He looked up at Lu Jiunian.
How did you get in?
"This is my home."
The man's voice was low and cold, devoid of any warmth.
As he approached, Nianzhi's expression was indifferent.
"I've said it before, if you don't open the door after the count of three, you'll have to bear the consequences."
"I didn't hear it."
Hearing Shi Nianzhi's perfunctory voice, he lay back down in bed.
Lu Jiunian grabbed his wrist and lifted him up.
Annoyance flashed in Shi Nianzhi's eyes as he looked at Lu Jiunian: "You're hurting me!"
Looking up, he noticed that the lipstick mark on Lu Jiunian's face had been washed off.
So it seems he knew, and even knowing that, he still treated him this way.
So you don't care?
Shi Nianzhi looked at Lu Jiunian, his eyes calm. "What do you want from me?"
Hearing Shi Nianzhi say this, Lu Jiunian laughed in anger, "Locked me out? Who gave you the guts? Shi Nianzhi, I married you just so you could make me angry like this?"
"Don't you know why I did this? Don't you want to give me an explanation for the lipstick mark on your face?"
Lu Jiunian loosened his grip on Shi Nianzhi's wrist a little, and looked at Shi Nianzhi, "So you admit it, you're jealous?"
Whether I get jealous or not is not important, and you don't care anyway.
Shi Nianzhi took a step back and looked at Lu Jiunian. "You made me study at home with a tutor, and you made me wait for you to come back so you could test me. But what about you? What were you doing outside? You've been disloyal to me."
Lu Jiunian was silent for a moment, then said calmly, "I was just socializing. This lipstick mark was accidentally smeared on my face."
How careless you have to be to get it on your face.
Shi Nianzhi nodded, "Mm."
He no longer wanted to know; it was clear that Lu Jiunian didn't want to talk about it.
"You can leave now."
With his back to Lu Jiunian, Shi Nianzhi bent down and picked up the bed sheet spread on the floor. "If you don't like me sleeping here, I'll sleep in the hallway."
"What's wrong with you? I already said it was an accidental bump."
Shi Nianzhi looked Lu Jiunian up and down and asked him, "How tall are you?"
The man remained silent.
Shi Nianzhi spoke for him, "1.9 meters tall, no normal person is that tall. Ding Qianqian isn't either. He has to stand on tiptoe to kiss your cheek, so how exactly does he manage to rub against your face? Tell me."
Lu Jiunian remembered that when he was in the private room, he was sitting and talking to someone, and Ding Qianqian accidentally slipped and fell on him because the floor was slippery.
The man's face turned cold, but he wouldn't explain any of this to Shi Nianzhi.
In his heart, Shi Nianzhi was not worthy of asking these questions.
Lu Jiunian said coldly, "I told you, but you don't believe me, so there's nothing I can do."
Shi Nianzhi hugged the blanket tightly and walked outside. "I'll sleep in the corridor."
He didn't plan to talk to him anymore.
Lu Jiunian pulled Shi Nianzhi over and pressed him against the wall. He leaned down and kissed his lips forcefully.
Shi Nianzhi was still holding the blanket in her hands, but Lu Jiunian found it in the way, so he grabbed it and threw it aside.
The man's lips moved to his ear, "I've been so good to you, and now that you still have the energy to argue with me, you must not be too tired. So let's try a different way to pamper you."
